After what I watched these last 2 weeks, he doesn't need elite speed. He's an absolute dominator on jump balls, back shoulder etc. And his specialty is what we saw at the combine. Elite hands on crossing routes.

We are absolutely set. Maybe extend Cooper to a short term deal. No more than 2 years. Then keep drafting speed wrs. Kupp will be too pricey.

If no one picks him up then yes I would consider a cheap 1 yr deal as a backup CB. But under no circumstances do I start him or pay him anything close to the Rams generous deal. Those 2 injuries were devastating.

I personally think Matt's future with this team depends on him not only coming back in December but having some impact in the playoffs. If he can't accomplish either of those things, I'm finding a way to release him or drastically downsize his contract. Enough is enough, your greatest ability is availability.

These rules are so ridiculously convoluted and favor RB's and absolutely screw WR's.

Keon will most definitely be one of the biggest recipients of the Cooper trade. He'll no longer see CB1. This play still pisses me off and the rule is ridiculous. A catch is a catch. Stop dissecting and over analyzing it under the microscope. Takes away the spirit of the game.

There are so many ridiculous NFL rules that need to be changed for the sake of fairness. It would've taken a booth crew 10 seconds to call that penalty. They spend 5-6 minutes looking at helmet to helmet.

You do realize that when the Rams won the SB, there were approximately 2000 people for the parade down Figueroa. It was embarrassing.

I'm not expecting him to coach till he's 80. He'll be 73 in April and yes that's long in the tooth, but I'd take him on a 3 year deal. Maybe his legendary defensive scheming could get us past Andy and punch 1 SB ticket. Andy absolutely owns Sean McDermott and I have zero faith in clappy out scheming the walrus in the playoffs.
