Not challenging Dalton sideline catch or Cook TD
LABILLBACKER replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
We would've won Kincaid's. Even the announcers said it was a catch. -
Even this season should never have been a rebuild year. It should've been a reload year. But I guess you can't reload offensive weapons that were never there in the first place. In Josh's 7 1/2 year career he's had 1 wr for 4 yrs that you could consider a WR1. Teams like Cinncy, Mia, Houston, Philly, SF, and even Chicago have 2 wrs that you could consider #1's. What Josh gets is scraps. We wouldn't want to deplete Sean's injury prone D.

I guess this new era of Bills fan was so beaten down by 17 years of drought that what's going on now is paradise in comparison. Regardless of whether we ever sniff another SB, I for one will not support stupid coaches that refuse to surround Josh with what he deserves and has earned. Without Josh, McDermott would've been fired ages ago. If Terry is more concerned about some revenue earning stability over pushing this team to a championship, then shame on him. And if this new age of Bills fan could care less about a Lombardi, then enjoy your Schottenheimer ride.

If it was even partially a blundered call late in the game, you know Sean has a part to play. Trubisky not throwing on 1st down, when the whole world knows you're running? Not making them burn those timeouts? This crap will keep happening like Groundhogs Day. Farwell, Frazier, Dorsey, Brady....the scapegoats are bottomless.

Which play was worse yesterday, Coleman or Davis
LABILLBACKER replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall
They're starting out making dumb rookie mistakes. But that perfect pass hit Keon in the dome was hilarious. Lucky he didn't get a concussion. Brady has a crapload of work to do this week. -
Worst (regular season) coached game in the entire McD era
LABILLBACKER replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
So true...the script will always be the same. Josh's sheer athleticism wills this team to 9-11 wins every year. Almost guaranteed playoffs. Then when the elite teams in the afc gather, the coaching fails. It's a story as old as time. If there was a bet in Vegas where the Bills make the playoffs but lose in the divisional round, I'd take it every year. -
Mini rebuild. Why is anyone that surprised?
LABILLBACKER replied to Blackbeard's topic in The Stadium Wall
McDermott's brain needs a rebuild. -
As many posters have accurately said, Terry now calls all the shots. The days of Kim having a say are over. Pegula is so blindly content with McB that a change is unlikely no matter how much it's needed now. Josh is going to be 30 soon. We've managed to butcher the 1st half of his career. We're starting to see him take more hits. We've always seen him be neglected weapon wise. As a fan I'm so angry and frustrated. We should be doing everything possible to trade for Cooper. But as usual we'll roll with the garbage wrs we have.
-
Whatever. Move onto next week.

He is dumb....dating back to the Texans playoff loss after leading 16-0 mid way thru the 3rd. 13 seconds was his masterpiece in stupidity. He'd be a great HR administrator but I wouldn't want him running my company. He absolutely sucks with game management. I have no faith in him in the playoffs and that will never change until he's replaced with an offensive HC. -
We won't ever know if a wr shines or fails if we don't even draft one. I wanted us to trade up for Brian Thomas but that would've taken a bite out of McDermott's defensive draft picks, like Bishop who got burned yesterday. We absolutely needed to draft a minimum of 2 wrs last April and instead Brandon went dumpster diving on Josh's behalf. 120M on Von well spent 🙄🙄.
-
Sean and his merry men Always butcher close game situational plays. Any 7 year old knows to run 3 times and force them to burn all 3 timeouts. That game goes into OT with coaches that aren't morons. Andy Reid
-
We need to replace Hollins with Cooper immediately. I'm not waiting for the trade deadline. We need Shakir back ASAP. We need to lock Brady in a room and not let him out until he figures out how the F to use Samuel other than a pass 3 yards behind the LOS. MVS is a lost cause, you might as well bring up Hamler.
-
He's off because he's hurt, has garbage wrs, his OL has regressed and he's still surrounded by incompetent coaches. This is McB's fault 100%! Because he's Superman, there's never any urgency getting him elite weapons. Besides defense will always be Sean's priority.
-
We didn't need Ray Davis. We needed a speed wr. I'll take a fast rookie wr going thru growing pains anyday over the scrubfest of Hollins, MVS and turf toe Curtis.
-
First Brady has to pull his head out of his ass and stop the LOS passes. It's a waste of a play, especially when you run it, it fails and you run it 2 more times to also fail. Throw the damn ball to him downfield or from the slot on a slant. We're wasting this guy in the exact manner we wasted Hines/Harty. 9M for a gadget guy. What a stupid signing and moronic usage of a player who is substantially better then the way he's being used.
-
Pointless having a 2nd team because the good Lord would just curse that team too. I'll stick to watching a generational qb be destroyed by his stupid HC and organization. That just drips with misery & entertainment all at the same time.
-
Was it a slightly off direction pass?...Absolutely. Would a better wr have still caught that?...Yes. This team right now has a serious wr crisis. Shakir is our best wr albeit probably not a #1 and he's out. Samuel and MVS are getting paid to not produce. Coleman has no speed and will be a nice jump ball/back shoulder guy, but nothing more. That leaves opposing defenses to just bracket Kincaid. Thanks McB for not trading up a little for Thomas. Your inability to give Josh weapons is becoming comical.
-
The same reason we threw one deep to DeMarco. Dumb decisions....
-
You're right....as much as we all love Josh, he has struggled his whole career with deep throws. Usually the trajectory is too flat or the ball drifts out of direction like the one to Hollins. Hollins is still a garbage wr and should've adjusted better.
-
Whatever. Move onto next week.
LABILLBACKER replied to iwishitwerecolder's topic in The Stadium Wall
If I landed a generational talent like Josh Allen, I sure as hell would make every effort every year finding him weapons. Not go in the other direction and say "dude you're Superman, do it all yourself"..... -
Postseason is ALL that matters
LABILLBACKER replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Is 9-8 and an afce division enough? Is just getting to the playoffs ALL that matters? I'd argue that the only thing that matters over the 2nd half of Josh's career is finding a coaching staff passionate about SB's. Not just settling for playoffs. We've seen for 5 years quick playoff exits. -
Oh @Draconator how adorable. There was nothing fine, good, encouraging, optimistic, uplifting or promising about today.
-
Would you be stoked with 3-3 and an early season 3 game losing streak?

Smelly Jockstrap Awards (Not Game Balls) vs Texans
LABILLBACKER replied to Wizard's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah Carter, Williams and Bernard played well. The rest of the team took another week off. -
10/6/2024 - Bills at Texans post game thread.
LABILLBACKER replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Statistically no....he's had about 8 career games with a rating under 50. Today he had a 56 rating because of all the incompletions. 1 td, no turnovers. Yes there were poor throws but a few drops. This was hardly his worst game ever. Josh once had a 17 rating. 0 tds, 3 ints. Today was more about poor OL play, poor wr separation and a struggling OC #3.
