  1. My prediction is Douglas, Miller and Jones are all gone. As much as I can't stand AJE, we'll probably tolerate him one last year before he's a FA in 2026. Groot has been somewhat of a inconsistent disappointment. Oliver never played up to his contract. Beane's emphasis in the draft (as much as I want more wrs) should be DL. It's the Bills most glaring weakness and probably the reason we're missing SB opportunities. We need to find our next Bruce Smith or at least some DT's who aren't candy asses.
  2. Josh can put up points against any afc playoff team we face. But honestly y'all we're not built to defensively stop anyone in the playoffs. There's not 1 game wrecking player on this defense. Just a bunch of zone scheme dependent Jags trying to bend rather than break. At least Josh will win his 1st MVP this year. Now if he could only wrestle between the ears.
  3. Like I said in a earlier post, we're either going to win or lose by 45-42.
  4. The now famous Bills adage "we'll learn from our mistakes and fix them" should actually be "let's find coaches that don't make them in the first place". As a side tidbit, Josh Allen is having his greatest season. This overblown narrative that he's an interception machine is moronic and lazy. He has 5 ints this year, 3 of which were the fault of his receiver.
  5. Lamar's 75 career rating in the playoffs says it all. The script is obvious. You stop their run game in the 1st half and force Lamar to be a pocket passer in the 2nd.
  6. I'm more interested in Belinda than OBJ.
  7. Purdy looks like a 7th rounder
  8. A bad year for Samuel's
  9. Purdy looks purdy irrelevant tonight
  10. Yeah, all the flags are coming out on LA...where the f was that last week?
  11. We have no one to blame but ourselves.
  12. I wish Milano looked like the way Greenlaw is flying around. Both missed a year.
  13. Why not...they can't do any worse than last week. It's not like we're generating a pass rush against Goff anyway.
  14. Well said @Logic. Never take your loved ones for granted. Kim loved this team and I'm sure her health has been devastating to Terry. First Ralph lives in Detroit, now Terry admits to growing up a Lions fan. Crazy stuff...
  15. As the title of this thread says, "the root source of the D's problems is the D-line. Your LB's and dbs always look better when there's pressure. Sean & Brandon unfortunately have failed to find an elite pass rusher. There hasn't been a game wrecker since Josh was drafted. All we have is a bunch of under performing Jags that make up Sean's defensive scheme. The problem is you can't run a zone scheme against superior teams with very good veteran qbs. And if you fail to pressure these qbs, you'll see what we witnessed in LA. I guarantee you Johnson does the same thing McVay did. In the playoffs qbs like Mahomes/Burrow can easily carve up this zone w/o front 4 pressure. Groot 6.5 sacks (3 week 1) AJE 5 and Von 4. I'm sorry but when your top 3 DE's are averaging 5 sacks this late in the season you're DL is struggling big time.
  16. No matter how magical Josh looks, McDermott will somehow screw it up. I've said this from the day we blew a 16-0 lead in the 2019 Houston playoff game. And since that day he's done nothing but validate that feeling.
  17. Nobody .500 or better is good for us to play. Josh will put up points as usual and Sean's defense will get shredded as usual. Lions 49 Bills 42 Don't hold your breath
  18. Agree...we should be splitting time 50/50 right now between Dorian and Matt. Milano still has 4 more games to get up to speed. Williams can still stop the run and Gibbs/Montgomery are going to be a problem.
  19. Well stated start to finish. Our blitz most of this year has been bad. Against the Rams it was awful. More stunts and deception are absolutely mandatory. The blitzes are strategically poor and very predictable as the Rams were able to easily clog with 5 olineman. Absolutely love the idea of Groot & Von on the left side. But we still need a better A gap push from Ed and the DT rotational circus. AJE is basically worthless and isn't even worthy of discussion. I'm not spending 5 cents resigning him. Start developing Solomon on the right side and keep drafting. Lastly more man coverage has to be implemented. I know our dbs are trained to play zone 80% of the time but unless our pass rush immediately improves, this is not sustainable. You don't think St. Brown can't sit down in our zone like Nacua did?
  20. I'm glad I wasn't the only one that saw this analogy by Cowherd this morning. Mark Jackson had Warrior players like Curry & Klay but failed to do anything with them. Kerr comes in and championships start. We desperately need a smarter game day coach and McDermott isn't it. All this fluff about culture & process doesn't translate to split second decisions late in games that Sean is clearly incapable of making.
  21. Good Lord...I actually finally agree with you. Unfortunately Elam is our only man specialist. It would be like changing from 4-3 to 3-4. Our dbs are brainwashed into Sean's zone.
  22. ...in a heartbeat! It's his call. If the Bills job became available, I guarantee you he'd choose Josh/Buffalo over Caleb/Chicago.
  23. We are must see tv The Chiefs don't give a rats ass about regular season games with Buffalo.
  24. Exactly, you throw the ball 4 straight times with a built in option for Josh to run if there's a gap. We were already stopped earlier in this game on a tush push. So what does McBrady do?...tush push miss, panic and burn timeout, then game basically over. 5% chance recovering onside kick.... 3% chance of returning punt 100 yards.... 20% chance to force a 3 & out with 1:00 left.
  25. When is Pegula going to learn from all the mistakes McDermott doesn’t learn from.
