We have a daunting schedule yet maybe the best 53 in the NFL. Just stay focused every week. No more Jacksonville debacle. If Tre comes back healthy and Von delivers I can see 13-4 and home field throughout. No more coaching stupidity.

Our defense in the playoffs will always terrify me. We've seen it historically way too often. We couldn't get off the field in 4 SB's. And recently we couldn't come up with the big stop against Houston or KC when we needed it. Honorable mention goes to "in game" blunders by coaches.

Just when you think you can't possibly love this team or community more, you see this outpouring of caring and support.

NFL Schedule Makers Gave Bills a Big Advantage

I'll see it to believe it, but if there ever was a year where we win it all despite the NFL, this is it. -
Execs Unfiltered On All 32 Draft Classes
LABILLBACKER replied to Brand J's topic in The Stadium Wall
What excites me about Beane is he's beginning to understand the value of acquiring proven players thru draft picks or FA like Diggs & Von. Beane's not going to hit on every pick but he'll find serviceable players the majority of the time. -
Are there any NFL teams with a #1 QB worse than Baker Mayfield?
LABILLBACKER replied to tomur67's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is a very accurate list. A healthy Mayfield would definitely be better than any our afce rival qbs. But he's still destined to being a backup like Darnold very soon. Next years qb class will be much bigger so Baker's window is quickly closing. -
Angry texts sent to Beane after Shakir pick

Couldn't have been Belicheat. He has no clue what to pick at WR. -
So Who Will Not Be a Bill by September?
LABILLBACKER replied to BillsfaninSB's topic in The Stadium Wall
You people on a crusade to over use the word crusade must stop crusading. -
That's the right attitude. I do the same thing. Josh brings us all the way back. Gabe was ridiculous. As Levi said in his recent interview everyone was just so excited by taking the lead. They just forgot to focus and so did the coaches from ST to DC to HC. Just turn it off before the kickoff. It's not worth the stress.

If _______ has a big year or breaks out, this team is SB bound
LABILLBACKER replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
For me it's between Groot or Ed. If we can compliment the chaos Von will create with either or both these guys turning up their game, we're winning the SB. Our last 3 playoff appearances ended with the defense failing. -
Rd 2, Pick 63 (31): RB James Cook, Georgia
LABILLBACKER replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Little bit of a sleepy interview but he'll excite the brethren. Not worried. -
"Fans aren't out there"....apparently you weren't either Levi. Why do you even bother with the boundaries when you know KC has 3 timeouts. You hand them the 25 yard line on a silver platter (McD). You know all they need is a couple of 20 yard plays. And your safeties are in deep prevent. We deserve everything that happened in that last 13 seconds.

Rd 2, Pick 63 (31): RB James Cook, Georgia
LABILLBACKER replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Trust me, when all the dust settles James Cook will be alot more than a 3rd down back. -
I seperate Beane from 13 seconds. A cluster of endgame coaching errors must be used as motivation for McDermott. Use that evening as a testament that it will never happen again. Beane has filled 98% of the holes. Hopefully the OL can rise up. 1 thru 53, this should be the best Bills team ever assembled.

The only time I felt encouraged by our run game during the entire JA era would be the final 4 games last season when we finally returned to "pulling guards". I think the ability of Cook to receive will open up our run game somewhat, but you're right in saying our OL still needs improvement. Hopefully Kromer can get some continuity going.
