  1. McKenzie struggled....Milano drops an easy pic6....NFL rules state Tua shouldn't even have played the 2nd half....the heat index of over 100 plus no shade was the final straw. And yes it will take a heat stroke death before Goodell gets off his ass.
  2. Exactly....this should be a time of celebration, not smart ass remarks trying way too hard to be funny. That Cincy loss really did irreparable damage to a huge percentage of fans. Way too much cynicism going around.
  3. Whether we like it or not we're stuck with him until the end of the 24 season. We're not taking the dead cap hit. So we either mend the fences or hope JA can calm him down.
  4. It's would be poetic karma that our first Lombardi comes from Boomer's prediction.
  5. Mikie said there'd be no math.
  6. I'm just shocked that for over 5 years Sean didn't insist on Leslie running a defensive style that he believes in? He allowed Frazier to run his own version of McD's base defense without much blitzes or press coverage. Makes no sense and our playoff results reflected that?
  7. Signing Floyd to compliment Rousseau was brilliant. Don't rush Von back too early. And when he does return (week 6?), keep him on a snap count. Hyde & Poyer healthy will be huge. We'll see which LB rises up to pair with Milano. At the very least I think we'll be a top 8 D. I'm actually a little excited to see Sean take everything over.
  8. Yeah I get it. But you have to understand that here in LA most radio sports talk shows are pure crap. When there not talking about garbage none sports related issues, they're whinning about Laker or Dodger problems. I could care less. At least Cowherd (whether you agree with him or not) discusses or mentions Allen/ Buffalo almost daily. And he spends more time on the NFL then all our other shows combined. I don't have the luxury as I'm driving to listen to local Buffalo stations. Get it.......
  9. My God Cowherd....give it a rest....he starts his 3rd straight week with his tired "Bills trending down"...."McDermott not an offensive HC"...."Diggs unhappy".....this guy literally spent 10 minutes this morning for a 3rd straight week harping on his same narrative. He's literally running out of Shi# to talk about. And his sidekick Jets honk just fuels the fire. I agree with some of his McD issues but he's being incredibly lazy going full clickbait mode. Dork is losing it.....
  10. I agree with everything except we will have important high leverage reg. season games like KC, Cincy & Mia. that determines seeding. Von & Floyd will be required. No NBA load management for those games. But yes keeping Von & Floyd healthy and fresh for a playoff run is vital.
  11. Sammy and Rosen. Monumentally wrong on both counts. Now if Sean somehow goes on to help the Bills win 1 SB, I will have completed the Crow Triple Crown.
  12. The defense under McD has been soft and predictable for years. It's good enough because of the talent to beat up on lesser teams. But come playoffs, it gets schooled. It desperately needs risk and an element of surprise. And as far as our mediocre OL is concerned. Sean has had every opportunity to build it up around Josh. Yet he just can't help himself and allows Beane to keep picking failed DE's/LB's early in the draft. Great baseball analogy, the Bills only have 1 pitch on Defense. The opponents know what's coming.
  13. Listen, I root for Sean just as hard as I did Marv. But there comes a time when you absolutely have to outcoach your opponent in high leverage games. Name me one game where McDermott implemented a tactical game plan that outschemed his counterpart. Let's not kid ourselves friends, Josh Allen is the reason we win 10-13 games every year. Now if we had a Belichick, Reid, Shanahan type to draw up a game plan, that would be enough to put us over the top. Unfortunately we have too many fans content with a Schottenheimer type coach. "Just win in the regular season and we're good"........Call me crazy but my goal was always a Lombardi. Not getting out of playoff droughts.
  14. I'm willing to give him one more year. He'll have full control of the defense so there will be no more scapegoats. Josh and the 23 roster is good enough to get us into the playoffs. McDermott's future will depend on finding a way to jump KC & Cincy. If we lose another playoff game where the defense fails, I'm done with him. Bring in Ben Johnson.
  15. That's an amazingly accurate timeline. I just wish Sean had demanded more defensive aggressiveness from Leslie in 2020 during the afcc loss. It might have eliminated 13 seconds altogether and possibly resulted in a Lombardi the next year.
  16. How Sean deals with the D is the least of my concerns. He'll be more aggressive with blitzes, press coverage and it will reflect in an improved D. It's the other responsibilities of a HC that terrify me. How he deals with the offense, ST and in game adjustments will dictate the temperature of his seat.
  17. It's probably the most memorable int I have ever seen watching 50+ years of Bills football. He literally came out of nowhere.
  18. I've said for years, besides a mediocre OL, the only thing that can stop Josh Allen is Josh Allen. There were dropped balls early last year by Cook, Dirty and Gabe that suggested a loss of confidence in those guys. Then the Jets ulner injury changed the dynamics of throwing short or short-intermediate. Factor in the 10 or so crazy drama events and poor field conditions v. Cincy and our fate was sealed. Dorsey should've kept routes simple in the snow. Whoever was in charge of cleats that day should be fired. Now that his arm is healed we should see a return to the NE playoff game plan. And factor Diggs, Knox & Kincaid more into the equation.
  19. As a fan I don't give a rats ass what Beasley says anymore. Just go away you walking distraction.
  20. If Von can return in October I honestly have little concerns about our defense. McD will be substantially more aggressive than Frazier. And that in itself will make a difference. It's whether Dorsey improves and Josh reduces the turnovers that concerns me?
  21. The bottom line is in an extremely high leverage game like an AFCC or SB, there's absolutely 0 chance McD out-schemes or out-strategizes his opposing HC. And alot of times that's the difference between a Lombardi or not. Sean dominates the culture, Process, player relations world. But as a game technician he blows. He's got the clapping part down.
  22. Marty is the perfect and most accurate comp for McDermott. I've said it these last few years. Eventually Terry will get fed up with the playoff struggles. Sean just doesn't have the ability to out scheme better coaches. That's part of why Josh is forced to play hero ball more than he should.
  23. Yeah ole beach chair was underwhelming last year. I just don't know if we're ever going to get innovative scheming out of KD?
  24. Belichick, Reid, Shanahan in that order.
