Yeah, I'm not seeing fast twitch today but I have seen tape of him in 19-20 and it's there. I think our future offensive HC will have to determine who stays and who goes between guys like Hines, Harty, Sherfield. There's way too much wasted cap going on with this team.

Gabe Davis Miscommunication Plays this season
LABILLBACKER replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly...Gabe knew it was a 0 blitz. Just run a straight fly and turn around. It didn't require a sharp left cut. Just dumb and Gabe does this often. Sherfield ran 3 wrong routes. -
I stopped praying for this team ages ago. He's not listening.

What's really silly and borderline stupid is people don't realize a HC is responsible for bringing these "players who fail to execute" onto his team. He's responsible for coaching these mistakes and penalties OUT of them. His players are a direct reflection of him. I remember many NE teams that had the fewest penalties because Belichick wouldn't tolerate it. Yet Sean keeps bringing back undisciplined players like Phillips. Do the math Mrs. McD....

I think it's a league policy that Buffalo is not allowed a instant classic win. It's written in their bylaws. But keep those close Heartbreakers coming.

Bills took the best team in the NFL to OT…
LABILLBACKER replied to appoo's topic in The Stadium Wall
And that's why he's getting canned after the season. Terry has eyes and ears. He's not jeopardizing future PSL's on this clown HC. Sean had his shot and he blew it. -
Rich Eisen Loves him some Josh Allen!
LABILLBACKER replied to Returntoglory's topic in The Stadium Wall
....and he's right. Josh was covering for Gabe's wrong route. I guarantee you when you're facing a 0 blitz, the route is a straight fly. Not a hard left cut to the corner. Gabe does this all the time. Josh was great yesterday and right on schedule he drives his team down for the game winning td (1:52) and McD's worthless defense collapses. This scenario has played out many times in 17's career. -
Rich Eisen Loves him some Josh Allen!

7 drops and wrs getting little separation. Josh had a ridiculous 83 qbr. I don't even look at rating anymore. All the formula cares about is completion %. -

I swear if Josh is wasted like Mike Trout, I'm going to hate McDermott for eternity. -
Joe Brady and Josh Allen won it, McFloormatt los t
LABILLBACKER replied to Thriftygamer83's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't want McD to stay with this team in any capacity. Get that stench off this team. Ship him back to Carolina. Let him do his little rebuild there. Then have Beane hire Johnson, Slowick, Harbaugh or Brady. The HC must be offensive and willing to start a new rebuild around Josh. You know, something that Sean was supposed to start 5 years ago. Apparently he got sidetracked picking defensive slugs. -
As much as I love Josh and his game, I would have to agree with this. His dedication for the game could go to another level if he wanted it to.

Chance of Playoffs now, according to NYT simulator
LABILLBACKER replied to Ray Stonada's topic in The Stadium Wall
Poor execution by your players will be a coaching issue till the end of time. The better elite coaches find ways to keep their players focused. McDermott can't even focus on his own gameday duties. And if Josh got us 4 tds and 1 int, I'd take that every week. -
McDumbass is always the answer but Bass & Cook cost us 13 points. And Micah needs to explain whatever the hell that defensive position was?

Chance of Playoffs now, according to NYT simulator
LABILLBACKER replied to Ray Stonada's topic in The Stadium Wall
Good post. It is a shame that players like Floyd & Bernard are balling out during this defensive disaster. McDermott's horrible late game strategy and calls are absolutely killing us. The Bills have absolutely no capacity to win close games under this coaches tendencies. -
Really good game for von to become von again
LABILLBACKER replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall
McD can't identify idiosity that lies right in front of him. Keep parading Von out there at 30%. Brilliant strategy. Von shouldn't have played 1 snap tonight. I personally think Von's career is over. You have to realistically consider an injury settlement at this point. Tre looked very mediocre weeks and months after his recovery. This may be it? -
From a former McDermott Supporter: It is OVAH
LABILLBACKER replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Terry is a smart businessman, that's exactly what he has to do. Keep Beane for the time being and fire McDermott. Start your search for a dynamic offensive minded HC. There's definitely some out there. I think even Kim would tell him this. -
Add another record of disappointment to our franchise
LABILLBACKER replied to TwistofFate's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yup, you can thank McProcess for that. He has morphed into every bit as bad of a HC as Dick Jauron. The only difference is he's had way more talent. -
Do you wonder if the league is fixed?
LABILLBACKER replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall
Completely agree. Been saying this since the Brady years. The NFL can very easily steer games in any direction. And they've been doing it for years. 10 penalties to 1 half way through the 2nd qtr. Seriously? -
Yet another choke job by the defense
LABILLBACKER replied to Bermuda Triangle's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Defense, scheme and coach are really bad. Obviously losing Milano & DQ hurts. Von has no business playing even 1 snap. You have witnessed this defense fail late in a game dating back to Houston. Sean's defenses have zero endurance. I've literally lost count of how many late JA game winning drives have ended with our defense collapsing. Enough -
No one on this board is more aware of that then I am.

Do you wonder if the league is fixed?
LABILLBACKER replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall
It wouldn't take much effort on the leagues part to gently infer that its crews "take care" of our big market blue blood teams. -
The AJ Brown OT catch was a fumble!!!!
LABILLBACKER replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
From start to finish Hercules Jr and his crew absolutely screwed the Bills. The first half was legendary. No one will be fired or suspended. No apologies, just business as usual for the shield. -
I'll forever be not-grateful for Sean wasting 6 years of Josh's career that he'll never get back. Andy Dalton ended the drought. Process and Culture was just an empty slogan. A mission statement with no mission.
-
90% of what this team has accomplished is because of Josh Allen. Not because we have some great HC. McD manages to screw things up 10x more than he makes them better.

Daboll was Josh's only chance at becoming the elite star he is. All McDermott did was alienate Daboll and force Beane into failed defensive picks. Brady does show promise but only with McD gone. It wasn't just about the 15 calls that went in favor of the Eagles. The put in some cheap shots too. Especially the one on Josh & Diggs that were utterly ignored.
