  1. Well, that’s where the battle is. You think that private colleges with fake degrees should be able to rape the citizens and it’s not their problem if they were tricked and signed the dotted line to attend a fake school that might not be accredited 2 years down the road because muh free market. Well, we see where that got us.
  2. Those are only political statements to people that are extremely political during a public health crisis. People should know when you’re supposed to put the gloves down and be an American and when to play politics. That’s missing from your cult.
  3. My issue is how do you do it? And how do you prevent the next generation from doing the same thing? I think there needs to be a wider view of the whole issue. Bernie and Warren can work on that.
  4. Yes they are, and we’ll probably meet in the middle.
  5. It’s a freakin vaccine!!!! It’s not political. That’s week old data.
  6. That’s the position he’s taking? That breaks against the narrative of this board that seems to think we’re supposed to have zero casualties and save everyone.
  7. We already allow all of those things. It’s called declaring bankruptcy. You can’t do that with student loans. You walked right into that one Chef.
  8. Biden great American president. Yes?
  9. Doesn’t appear to be the case but impressive gymnastics. I score it a 10.

  11. Was it ivermectin? I heard some use it for rosacea.
  12. He’s right. It just isn’t realistic for there to be long term effects. It’s far less concerning than drinking milk, eating meat, our water supply, forever chemicals, etc.
  13. Sept. 27 final vote is what I’m seeing. That Congressman from NJ is from my hometown district. He’s a doofus. No one seems to know why this group decided to clown themselves on this. Russian.
  14. Without Comey, Trump never gets in the WH.
  15. Never underestimate how much Americans like blowing stuff up. oldmanfan quickly reminded me of that.
  16. Maxine Waters stays. That’s non-negotiatiable.
  17. It just backs up numbers that we already knew anyway. Not a surprise to anyone.
  18. I go back and forth with it. I think there’s a $ sweet spot there but I don’t know where it is. Bottom line, no one is paying it back, so we’ll have to clear the books at some point and it should be framed as “boosting the economy.” I don’t like legislation that targets specific groups and leaves others out, like the child tax credit. If they do it, do it across the board and just set the amount somewhere fair.
  19. I didn’t say it was. Most voters think it is to some extent. It depends on how it’s framed.

  21. Bernie: We're going to tax the wealth of these billionaires, and with the Budget Reconciliation Legislation, we are finally going to invest in the needs of the working class of this country. Trust me, I wrote the damn bill.
  22. He’s already been doing loan forgiveness piecemeal. By the time we get close to the midterms, it will be more than halfway done already. Looks like they already have a deal. Sept. 27. https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2021/08/24/afghanistan_is_already_fading_on_television_news.html
  23. Plot twist: American soldiers are fired upon and Biden bombs the Taliban and ISIS. oldmanfan starts doing cartwheels and Biden’s approval shoots up to 70 percent.
  24. I no longer follow the day to day on these large packages. It’s just postering and nonsense. In reality, these moderates just want some pork to bring home to their districts and they’ll have a deal. Infrastructure is polling in the 60’s so it obviously will pass in some form at some point.
