  1. Belichick is the best coach in NFL history. He is NOT, in my estimation, a great GM.
  2. I’ll believe they roll into the season with just those two guys when I see it.
  3. @GunnerBill I’m curious to know: if you were the Raiders and had your pick of the WRs, who would you take? I nearly went with Jeudy due to route running prowess and it’s importance in the WCO, but ultimately felt that he may be best in the slot, where Raiders already have Renfrow.
  4. Agreed on pretty much all counts...Plenty of resources have been invested in the defense. It’s time to bring the offense into the top 10. How do we do that? A stud running back and a YAC and/or size WR, in my opinion. If a guy they believe can be a high quality starting RT is on the board at 54, I’m fine with that, too.
  5. Just posted. Two posts above you.
  6. With the 12th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Las Vegas Raiders select CeeDee Lamb, WR, Oklahoma. The Raiders felt that our clear number one need was a bona fide #1 WR. We like Tyrell Williams as a deep threat and we’re really excited about Hunter Renfrow’s future in the slot. We have Agholor and Zay Jones for depth, but we don’t have our alpha yet. With our pick of the entire WR draft class, we heavily studied all three of the top prospects at the position. We were enticed by Jeudy’s route running and Ruggs’ rare speed, but we felt that the former may fit best in the slot and the latter may lack the ability to be a true, dominant #1 WR. CeeDee Lamb will step in and immediately start for us at the Z spot in coach Gruden’s west coast offense. He has physical abilities you just can’t teach. His YAC ability, for instance, is off the charts. In 2019, Lamb had 376 yards after contact (third-most in FBS) and 683 yards after the catch, and he forced 26 missed tackles. He can take a 5 yard slant and turn it into a 60 yard touchdown in a heartbeat. We are thrilled to add him to our team and believe he will add tremendous big play ability to our offense. @Watkins101 and the San Francisco 49ers are now on the clock.
  7. Patriots will acquire OJ Howard for peanuts and turn him into a Pro Bowler. Ugh.
  8. Things were humming along pretty nicely there for a minute. Now? Not.
  9. We DO love us some 5th round project linebackers. Plus, it would put us back up to our preferred Shaq quota.
  10. I was gonna wait to post this until closer to my picks, but this thing is moving fast, so... The Las Vegas Raiders are looking to move back in the draft (preferably from the 19th spot, but the 12th is on the table, too). Hoping to add more draft picks this year, as we currently lack any 2nd round picks.
  11. You’re right! I missed that. I rescind the Browns criticism. Good job, Browns ?
  12. So the Browns ignored their glaring need on the o-line to take a corner, Tua is a Redskin, and the Phins took Love at 5? This draft is already drunk. ?
  13. Joe Burrow will end up being average at best, a bust at worst. Tua will have the better pro career.
  14. The Bills under Brandon Beane seem to like to take one section of the off-season at a time. They seem to put all of their attention into free agency, then shift completely to the draft. Beane himself said that after the draft, because of COVID, there’s not much on the calendar — or at least, not as much as there usually is. All of this is to say that it wouldn’t surprise me if we hear a few contract extension announcements in the months AFTER the draft. Echoing others here, I think Dawkins and White are (rightly) the top priorities. I think there’s a 60% chance the Bills re-sign Milano, though. Edit**. Here’s Beane’s quote from the Yahoo article linked in the post before this: “If you look at our history, I’ve generally done most of those guys — we did do Jordan before that, before we hit free agency. Beyond that — most of the guys I’ve done from Jerry Hughes, Eric Wood, [Stephen] Hauschka and some of those guys we’ve done more in the spring/summer time frame,” Beane said.
  15. Zero part of me thought this was in the cards. Now...trading up higher in the 2nd and 3rd? Absolutely on the table. Even after the picks we parted with in the Diggs trade, it’s STILL going to be hard for seven rookies to find roster spots this year. Expect a couple more aggressive, “trading up for specific guys we like” moves.
  16. Me too, if needed. I have LITERALLY nothing else going on ?
  17. That’s the second team the past few weeks to reveal “new” jerseys that are really just their old jerseys (Bucs were the other). And heck, even our beloved Bills went “back in time” with their current jerseys. The lesson here? Newfangled, fancy, modernist NIKE designs are NOT always better, and in fact are often much worse. “Classic” works, don’t try to fix what ain’t broken!
  18. Cam Akers baffles me. I've heard a lot of people say they love him for the Bills. What am I missing? He seems to be "just a guy" to me. What does he do that is special? What am I not seeing?
  19. This. Lordy I hope the Bills don't trade back into the 1st round this year.
  20. I have to tell you...McFarland made my jaw drop. His speed jumps off the tape. He is a “wow!” Player. Not just fast, but FAST fast. I somehow can’t see a guy as fast as McFarland lasting to round 4, but if he somehow does, he’s a slam dunk. For all the things Motor is, “fast home run threat” ain’t one of ‘em. From where I sit, McFarland would be a great complement.!
  21. I’ve been spending the morning watching videos of just about every draftable running back. After doing so, I became curious as to which RB Bills fans like as a complement to Singletary and why. Some feel we need a speedy homerun threat, some feel we need a big power back, and some want a well-rounded 3-down back. So, let’s hear it, which RB do you most want the Bills to draft and why? And as a bonus question, which round do you think the Bills can realistically choose your favored RB?
  22. Thanks as always for doing this. would love: Raiders Dolphins Jaguars Texans Broncos will take whoever though!
  23. The projections were based on society continuing unabated. The only reason the numbers are vastly lower than the projections is because of fast and widespread social distancing. So what do you suppose happens when that ends?
  24. I’m sorry, but surely when the headline “How Jordan Poyer is staying busy during quarantine” came up, we all immediately thought the same thing, right? ?
  25. Fair enough. A few things: my list wasn’t how I personally would pick it, it’s how I think an unbiased draft might look. Saying that Josh Allen would be picked in the top 10? I simply don’t believe that in a pool of ALL NFL players, Josh Allen would go in the top 10. Looking at it without my Bills-colored glasses on, I just don’t buy it. You May be right about no RB going in the top 10, but CMC is coming off a 1,000 yard rushing, 1,000 yard receiving season. That’s rarified air, as evidenced by the massive contract extension he signed today. All in all, if you asked 20 people to do this exercise, I bet you’d get 20 different answers.
