  3. He had a delusional “tryout” with the Detroit Lions should have been content to be a good friend of the NFL’s coolest daddy ever, Lem Barney
  4. easily one of the most miserable and bitter set of people to succeed in music it seems far better to have honest hate and fight it out, as many bands were able to do
  5. it all depends on your motives for watching when I was coaching it was helpful to see where things went wrong in order to work on them in practices
  6. Who introduced the concept of a TE to these Bills? Been three decades since they bothered with the position
  7. always amusing that people scream a game was fixed when their team lost, they then give me the litany of a conspiracy against (pick whatever team) but when THEIR team wins they CONVENIENTLY FORGET their 10 minute rant on how it's all fixed and i make a move to never have to be in the same room as this person ever again, if possible
  8. never understood the whining about that one i guess the refs ran interference for Parker's great break to the end zone if i had known how loathsome Seattle would shortly become i would have enjoyed this game a million times more

  13. my inquisitive pursuits on sports facts has left me perfect for sports from 1920 to around 1986, i doubt i could name much correctly in major sports since then.... i posit that sports was the best when one was 11, which would be 1977 for me. the sporcle trivia site is good for testing out your memories the 2nd huge play of that SB was Harrison's pick 6 off Curt Warner for 100 yards as the clock expired in the first half...

  17. this was one of the rarer ones that was close and came down to a last minute TD drive seen so many it's a blur now, only a few plays and the Bills 4 SBs are fresh in my memory
  18. I'm quite confident the league has a code for such words, enforced on the field and in one's own lockerroom a rumour about a certain former pint-sized former Bills QB using a bad word and losing the respect of his entire non-Bills team instantly, floated around at the time, if it did happen it was dealt with internally the team certainly had no use for him during his tenure, including a playoff game
  19. did not know that, this will be interesting....
  20. I've seen dozens of amazing things out there, another Garrett for the Raiders back in the day kicked his opponent in the helmet, against the Packers??, the replay is out there in some documentaries nobody has done that to an opposing QB for that prolonged a play in garbagetime and geez, the Steelers were meeting up with them again in a handful of weeks to perform a little more discreet payback
