  1. I remember when we picked Ej, I was like the guy from FSU? I really thought we were going to pick Geno.
  2. Just look at the list briefly, it was pretty bad for the 1st round but there is some good picks after that with the likes of DeAndre Hopkins, Travis Kelce, Robert Woods, Jamie Collins, and buffalo fan favorite.... Mike Glennon
  3. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2010/draft.htm The first round wasn't completely terrible.
  4. Also had surgery on his hip which was an older injury. Still ran a 4.39 in the 40. Also did 15 reps on the bench press. Not bad for a guy with a long frame at 6' and 197 lbs.
  5. Our defense was on another level that day, between their physicality and tenacity, the team seemed like it was on a mission. I remember we picked up Rambo that week and he ends up making two interceptions, once which he jumped beautifully.
  6. Want - Adams Don't Want - None of the aforementioned QBs Dark horse - OJ Howard Think - Corey Davis
  7. Are you just trolling? If you didn't read my post before then I can see why you're confused. I'm implying it's a team game, stating we just need to get a franchise qb will solve all our problems is just foolish. Yeah would it help, damn straight it would, but you cannot neglect all the other positions because you have a franchise qb. Even Brady needed his number 1 scoring defense to win the Super Bowl this past season.
  8. You mean like reaching for quarterback? Yeah, tell that to the chargers and saints. They both have future HOF QBs, yet, they are still on the outside looking in. Hmmmmm I wonder why?
  9. Thank god, you're not the GM. I don't mind taking one after the 1st round but to waste our top 10 pick on a qb is a really bad idea. Seeing as we restructured Tyrod and have more holes to fill other than QB. Still need a safety, corner back, will lb, and #2 WR.
  10. Exactly, It's usually the guys that aren't superstars but do their jobs and never attempt go out do their realm. For example, mike vrabel, Steve Kerr, and Phil Jackson. All of the aforementioned individuals were part of winning teams as players but weren't the franchise player or superstars of their respectable teams but played an essential part in their team's success and now are making/made their names as coaches.
  11. It's been said we can get a starter in the cb and safety slot all the way up to round 4, so I think we either draft Corey Davis or we trade back and get more picks along with drafting OJ Howard (run a lot of 2 WR and 2 TE sets)
  12. No one is giving up a 5th round pick for gilli, teams can draft a RB then which will be a lot cheaper than gilli and they won't lose the draft pick either.
  13. Above average?! 😂😂 We actually also had a 14-2 record against the NFC during that run. We saved our worst game for last :/ Happens when you play so many football games.
  14. I thought the EJ subject was laid to rest like old yeller.
  15. I think McDermott would not want Sherman on this team, after the outburst he had on the sidelines last season getting in the offensive coordinators face. Plus, McCoy is our offense. I mean we do have Sammy and "the replacements"..
  16. The comp pick infatuation is just replacing "tank" discussions this week, it'll revert back to "we should tank" next week.
  17. I won't hang him, I think he did what's best for the team currently, can't foresee the future.
  18. yup, the type of player McDermott likes. He can play Safety and CB.
  19. I wish it was a final push out the door! I can see Brady trying to break into the facility and engage in practices even after he is retired. Like Kobayashi did when he failed to enter the hot dog eating contest and ran onto the stage and started to shove those boiled weiners down his gullet, now that's a competitor. The Sox and Cubbies give me hope, even with all the hardships we've endured as fans.
