Yes, they are still an offense with a lot of new parts, and not a complete unit yet. They still don’t have a true #1 WR , and are playing with rookie TEs. Definitely not a finished product. Having a top defense may influence Daboll to keep things low risk as well.

It seems their drives have stalled on penalties, turnovers , and sacks. Don’t know if the numbers back this up.

I actually thought Alexander’s horse collar was a smart penalty at the time. It was blatant, but thatbplay looked like it was going for huge yardage if he didn’t.

Work in progress. Needs to cut down on turnovers and slide judiciously like he did today. I’d like to see more chunk plays out of Allen’s arm. Still a ways to go, but he’s improving. The Bills couldn’t score a TD in a very winnable playoff game with Tyrod so not sure why he’s being mentioned here. He’s too low of a bar to shoot for. The Bills are 4-1 and in good shape, even with a young flawed Allen. He still has potential to improve. I’d say a C+ so far.

Triple coverage ? He’s throwing to Yeldon . Yeldon looking right at JA, Allen throws to a spot where he’d be if he keeps running but Yeldon stops inexplicable. He’s single covered and no one within a few yards of him. Easy completion if he keeps running. The play wasn’t working and players were improvising at that point , but there’s no blanket coverage on Yeldon.

While the dead horse beating needs to stop (I thought he was a boom or bust pick with no middle ground ) lets be real as fans. The Bills should have drafted him and it’s pretty obvious. They didn’t and it can’t be changed, but come on. He’s the best QB in history through 25 games and it’s not close. He’s an otherworldly talent , and he’d be pretty great anywhere. Fans definitely need to let it go at this point; he’s going to be around for awhile. Attempts to minimize his talent are as silly as the endless whining.

I agree , and that doesn’t seem to translate to a “ 77 % chance “ or whatever they like stating this historical record of past 4-1 teams as. You still have to win 10 ( probably ) regardless of the order the victories come in.
