Obviously every single issue shouldn’t be left to the states. Contraception and interracial marriage are not particularly controversial and there is no reasonable argument for them to be illegal. Those examples don’t hold much water when there is virtually zero political will behind banning them. They aren’t “ issues” on anyones radar. Lastly , I personally don’t support any nationwide law on abortion. I consider myself pro choice. Perhaps there’s a movement in the GOP for a nationwide law but I’d consider that a fools errand. Most people think it should remain legal, with restrictions after about 15 weeks.

So all is hunky dory in Illinois ; due at least in part to their exceptionally forward thinking government. You don’t seem like you’re fixin’ to move to Kansas anytime soon. So what’s the problem? A polarizing issue has been left to the people (i.e the states ) to decide. This is our system of government as designed by the founders of our great Nation. What is acceptable behavior in Illinois may not be in Missouri. Our Democratic Republic allows for this.

This is what took place. If you want to believe the testimony of political creatures who may have personal beefs with Trump etc then do so. Fraudulent unverifiable paper ballots were used. Everyone knows this because we were all told well before the election that they were being used and allowed because of “ Covid safety”.

Yes there was. Swing states were flooded with unrequested and unverifiable paper ballots. The “ need “ for this was pushed by the Dems immediately after the emergence of Sars2. They knew Trump was on a collision course to overwhelming victory in November of 2020 and were determined to cheat to stop it. It’s pretty obvious and not hard to figure out. The fact the ballots were unverifiable was their built in excise - there is no evidence! Even though stuffing the ballot box is one of the oldest trucks of all time.

Maybe in the regular season, but in the playoffs you do whatever it takes. We saw this last year and I’d expect no different going forward. Winning the SuperBowl is everything.

There are a couple Dems who they hate and blame because they won’t go along with everything ( you know who they are). Their President IS underwater in approval with the common folk, but many will simply blame him for not being liberal enough. They’ll be quick to vote for the next candidate with a D next to their name.

You must not check out the msm very often. They hate it. They hate the founding fathers, hate conservative ideas and hate Republicans and Trump voters. It’s probably more than 1/3 of the population and they shout it from the rooftops daily. I believe it because I see it right in front of me. Trust me, I wish it weren’t true but the evidence says otherwise.

The fighting would be about somebody else telling you how to live: i.e you must wear a mask, celebrate lbgtq “ lifestyles “ while denouncing the Police and American Institutions. Etc etc. Part of the problem is the media to be sure, but also a lack of understanding about our Country and its system of government. The Supreme Court is not about “ views” or whether or not other Americans agree with them. It is about the United States Constitution and its amendments. The ultimate law of the land. That doesn’t waver with the political winds or popular culture of the day. The Court does not make law, but overturning a ruling on itself is not uncommon. We are a republic of 50 States and major differences from other States can exist within their borders.

Civil war wouldn’t surprise me. I used to laugh at such statements but not anymore. Liberals have gone off the deep end and despise all that made America great in the first place. If I know someone is a liberal or I suspect they are due to statements they’ve made I will not engage them in conversation beyond rote pleasantries. I’m still optimistic. However I’m worried at the same time that they are growing in number , and that’s both sad and concerning.
