Ok thus far. Beane got rid of guys that he had to, painful as it was. Morse, Poyer, Tre- all played their hearts out here but age , injuries, and need for cap space dictated that they were going. And he’s filled in with guys such that there is no glaring holes. Only move I thought was iffy was trading Bates.

Beane is doing what he does, filling holes so he has a starting lineup in place going into the draft. Then he can pick the guys that rate out highest vs. having to fill a specific need.

None of us have a clue what’s really going on in the locker room. If he’s a distraction trade him and set up the offense around Kincaid and Knox, and draft a potential #1 WR this year. If he’s not a distraction then roll with it.

If I’m Josh/Beane/McD I call Diggs and tell him you’re either in or out. And if you’re out then tell us and we’ll trade you.

I’m going to semi-retire on September 1, and my wife and I want to start coming to some home games, plus start scheduling some trips we’ve put off till retirement.

Somewhere between picks 4-8 Roger walks up to the microphone and announces: We have a trade. Buffalo has traded (a small boatload of picks) to (team to be named) and is now on the clock. And we get one of the top 3 rated WRs in the draft. Beane and McD have said they need to get more explosive. And they’ll do that by getting more explosive with their moves to draft an explosive WR for Josh.

Predictable. We needed to get younger at safety. Simple.

Time for the young man to step up. If he can’t get what the D expects out of him, then trade him.

Lost some good guys today. Guys that put it all out there and helped the team achieve a sustained playoff run. But it was Bill Walsh I believe who said it’s better to cut a guy a year too early than a year too late. That plus the cap means vets with big contracts who are on the wrong side of 30 get cut. It sucks but it’s how things have to be done in today’s NFL.

Not sure if he’s a lock but I’ll bet he’s on the roster
