Why is everyone scared of Cam Newton?

I don't think Joshie will want to change the entire offensive structure as he'd have to with Newton. McDaniel's had time to work with T\Stidham. I also wonder how Newton will do coming back from a Lis Franc. Of course, with some Bills fans if our player gets a Lis Franc they will never recover, but if another guy on another team not only will he recover but he'll be All World.

Terry’s passion is hockey, not football. I’d be astounded if they sold the Sabres, and even more astounded if the league would support moving a team from one of its most hockey crazed cities. The Pegulas have obviously got it wrong with pretty much every personnel move they've made with the Sabres. What I see in this move is going to a formula they found that works with the Bills. A HC that is all about process, teaming with a GM of similar mindset. We’ll see if it works.

No. Owners can own two teams in different leagues if they are in the same market. They cannot if in different markets. It’s why the Jacobs family could not own the Bills since they also own the Bruins. If Pegula sold the Sabres it has no effect on owning the Bills.

I've been a fan since opening day 1960 as a 4 year old kid. My feelings about the Jets is: meh. Don't like them because they are a divisional rival but otherwise don't care much either way. Can't stand the Patriots, but that is due to the Cheatriot era ((and some envy) of the Brady/Belicheat years. But I suspect many of the folks from my generation will tell you they have a special hatred for the Fish, after having to live through the 70's, the smugness of Shula, and then the Marino years and Cox. See your point. I think the thing at OklaSt was a learning experience for all. Gundy learned something about his players and what they go through. His players might hopefully have learned to approach their coach one on one instead of through the media.

My read is they are looking for the kind of communication and process building they have with Bean and McD. They see how successful things like process and culture are there, and I think Krueger fits the same mindset, similar to McD. If Adams does as well, then hopefully they get the ship righted. Now, if I were Adams I'd park my butt down with Beane and pick his brain on how to establish his organization, how to get good alignment, and such. As for hemmorhaging money, an't comment on that since I don't see the books. But the Sabres are Terry's thing, hockey is more his passion than football, so I'd be shocked if he ever sold. Not terribly surprised by most of the firings; Adams and Krueger no doubt has their ideas there with scouting and such. But the Rochester firings don't add up for me; they were doing well down there so unless it was a loyalty thing to Botterill then it doesn't make much sense. Put Skinner back with Eichel, sign a real goalie or bring the Finnish kid up, have Cosins join the big leagues and you should be OK.
