  1. You don't know that unless they are tested for antibodies. At my health care network we had to report symptoms every day coming into work, and if we answered yes to any then we had to get tested and if positive you're gone for 10 days. Bottom line if you work in health care you have to be responsible towards your patients. Flu vaccine are mandatory for many health care organizations and Covid vaccines should be no different.
  2. Here's the thing. Sometimes the other team plays better than you. That is what happened Sunday. We all had visions of the game against the Steelers last year, but they were beat up at the LB position and their D wasn't their normal D. Bottom line Sunday is their D was better than our O, at all levels. Their front dominated our O line, and their DBs blanketed our WRs. Our D shut down their run game, and for the most part shut down Big Ben except for a couple truly incredible catches by their WRs (and a couple questionable calls). The game was a D dominated game, and they were more dominant. And for the play that won them the game, their punt return team dominated our punt team up front, got a block and a TD, and there you go. On Sirius NFL radio yesterday Gannon said that teams with a blocked punt win 90% of those games. The Bills will look at cleaning things up a bit, Josh will take shorter throws if teams play him deep, Daboll will make adjustments. But sometimes the other guy simply plays better, and that's what happened Sunday. We didn't lose it, they won it.
  3. You can't possibly be serious. Oncology patients, post-surgery patients, patients that require care but not intensive care. Come on now.
  4. I think they bring Moss back in this week and run the ball more. Breida didn't show much, and why they take their supposed speed back and run him up the middle is a mystery. Methinks Sean had a bit of a sit down with Daboll this week and told him to stop the cute stuff.
  5. The key to winning football games has always been and will always be about whether you beat the guy across from you. I'll be watching for the O line to win matchups this week. They got steamrolled by the Pittsburgh front this past Sunday, and McD rightfully called them out. Will they rally and beat the guy in front of them more times than not, or will they get beat again individually and collectively? That's the key to this game and most of the remaining ones on the schedule.
  6. I don't get as upset about these guys as most, but I don't necessarily see the need for the color guy in the booth. Just have a good play by play person call the game.
  7. Sometimes Daboll gets too cute for his own good.
  8. Always good stuff Shaw. Josh wasn’t his best, true, but this game reminded me of the first SB loss. Steelers beat up on our receivers when they touched the ball, and instead of going with an effective running game (Singletary had over 6 ypc) we kept trying to throw against a D committed to stopping us from doing so. Plus some of Josh’s struggles came from an O line that was overmatched. Dawkins doesn’t be appear to be in game shape yet. And we may need to think about getting Bates in to solidify the interior. Given all that, the D played well and even with the offense issues we lost because of a special teams gaffe. Which you can bet won’t be repeated. On to Miami. My concern there will be the heat and how it affects the O line.
  9. Because they have dominant guys on their D line and our O line struggles against them. Beane got new D linemen last year, look for O line hogs next draft.
  10. Too cute by Daboll. Your O line has to be able to get you a yard.
  11. They had 3 or 4 guys break through. That will get cleaned up.
  12. Agree. I picked two specific plays. A game like this is a play or two here and there. I think Levi played OK, the TD in the corner he got his hand on and deflected but their WR made a great play. And the PI wasn’t deserved. Would have liked to see them run more.
  13. Just got to my hotel after traveling right after the game. Their D is legit. So is ours. One of those games where one big play or one missed play does it. They had a big special teams play, we had an unbelievably dumb 4th down call. And there’s the two plays that did it. Both these teams will be in it in January-February.
  14. Time for the O line to start playing
  15. Ok boys, let’s matriculate the ball down the field!
  16. I remember that one well. That was after an 0-6 pre-season too.
  17. Don't know who he is. Don't care what he says.
  18. I see no reason why he’d regress.
  19. Absolutely. I wish some of the younger folks here would have gotten the opportunity to watch the AFL teams.
  20. It’s my team, I’ll pick who I want. I watched those teams and Cookie was a fantastic runner.
  21. He and Wray Carleton flip flopped a bit. Cookie was my Bettis type RB.
  22. Most memorable for me was 1980 finally beating the Fish, and helping carry the goalposts up to Ralph’s box (yes, alcohol was involved). But the best game I ever saw was the ‘74 opener against the Raiders.
  23. Damn, I forgot TE. So I have to take Carleton off the roster and add Ernie Warlick.
  24. Let's keep going, hit the wrong button QB: Kelly, Kemp RB: Simpson, Thomas, Gilchrist FB: Braxton, Carleton WR: Reed, Moulds, Butler, Diggs, Beasley, Moore (Rashad),Tasker O line: Hull, Joe D, Shaw, Ballard, Peters (starters), McKensie, Barber, Bemiller, Ritcher, Wolford (backups) D line: Smith, McDole, Sestak, Washington (starters) Smerlas, Schoebel, P Williams, Hughes, Day LB: Stratton, Fletcher, Bennett (starters), Conley, Talley, Paup, Jacobs (backups) CB: Egerson, White, Clements, James, Byrd, Odomes S: Saimes, Greene, Poyer, Hyde ST: Bass, Moorman, Ferguson
  25. Oh man, this will be tough. Let me give it a shot: QB: Kelly, Kemp RB: Simpson, Thomas, Gilchrist FB: Braxton WR: Reed, Moulds, Butler, Diggs, Dubenion, Tasker OL:
