  1. is there any real news in terms on increasing testing? i would love a drive through center around here.
  2. i hope no one thinks i meant being spiritual leads to not having common sense. i just hope no one exchanges the power of prayer for doing the basic things we've all be instructed to do.
  3. we're not doing that yet, but my schedule is showing the effects. right now were having people stay in their cars, and call us when they arrive. we will come out and get them. if anyone is sick, or has traveled, they have to stay away. constantly washing handles, surfaces, etc.
  4. i appreciate spirituality, but only common sense and the understanding of what this thing is going to fix this.
  5. i really think this is the last idea anyone should be putting into people's head's at this point.
  6. we just found out there's case in our suburb, so i can only imagine how many people already have it.
  7. that's just it. on top of that, there's still a lot of non-covid illness floating around.
  8. i really hope the op doesn't take it the wrong way. just trying to keep things light.
  9. you wore bills gear to a steak house?
  10. Love me for who I am.
  11. Bjs here was brutal yesterday. The cashier looked like she was run over by a car.
  12. Agreed. Other than the stores, most places seem to be about half as full as they usually are. I took my kids to their morning activities today, but I think this is it.
  13. That’s what they’re doing here now too. If the district closes, the local daycares close. I don’t think it’s mandated, but it’s what many are choosing to do. One district in Rochester just closed. Apparently an infected woman was in one of the schools.
  14. The fallout over the next few weeks is going to be big. I’m guessing that over the next 5 days, I’m going to watch my schedule fall apart and shorten working hours. That may be how I manage watching the kids.
  15. I don’t mind being thrown under the bus for that. You made the smart choice. Tell him uncle teef will make it right.
  16. neither of us could really get anything done with our kids around, so that's not even an option. we make take alternating days off, find babysitters, see if family can help. if that's the worst of my problems we're doing ok, but we're going to have to get creative. man i will give you credit. i don't know how people without family in the area do it. my in laws even moved closer to us to help out. even this time of year is hard for us because everyone runs to florida for the winter.
  17. i've mentioned it on here already, but this is what's going to happen to us. my wife works for the schools, but if they close, they still want the staff to report. our daycare that both kids are in sent out an email saying if the schools close, they'll close as well. we'll both still be in work and will have to figure out care. i have no idea what we're going to do yet.
  18. i was at the gym at around 7:30, which is a busy time, and it was easily 50% less full than usual.
  19. I’ve learned a lot in this thread. Some good. A lot bad.
