So far the Bills offense actually looks pretty good. The Jets aren’t beating us, we are beating ourselves. I guess that’s better than if the offense looked terrible and couldn’t move the ball. They just need to clean some things up, which is very do-able.

I’m already starting to get that nervous feeling in my stomach (the ONE thing I did Not miss about football Sunday’s...lol). Please look like a good football team, buffalo!

I forgot that the Pats tried to trade for him this offseason. That definitely makes me a bit more suspicious that AB tried to orchestrate his own release to get to NE. Oakland got played.... lol

On my firestick I have a couple apps that are specifically for watching live sports. My firestick currently isn’t working so I can’t tell you what is still working. But the name of the one app was “SportsDevil” (can’t remember the others). A lot has changed with kodi recently, so I’m not even sure if sportsdevil is active anymore. I keep reading about something called “Mobdro” and “Live NetTv” for free live sports streams. Haven’t tried it myself though. They have beat reporters for each team, so you get separate articles on the Bills and Jets. The Bills are currently up to at least 3 full time beat reporters at the athletic. Sabres have 2-3 as well.

It was a pretty good showing by the Sabres prospects last night. I was impressed with the first 2 periods. They seemed to let off the gas a bit in the 3rd. They were up 6-1 though. Probably didn’t want to embarrass NJ too much...lol (j/k) Im not reading too much into it. He was asked about the Risto trade comments. What else was he supposed to say? I agree with him.

Well, apparently AB went to the right team. I’m not sure how many other teams would put up with this, especially from a guy who hasn’t even played s snap for their team yet and just got out of a messy “divorce” with his previous team. Gruden doesn't seem to care that AB has very quickly made the Oakland Raiders into a drama filled reality TV show.

The Sabres prospect challenge starts tonight at 7pm. It will be streamed live on Sabres.com for anyone within the local broadcast market. I’m not sure, but New Jersey might potentially have a stream available for those outside the Sabres local market (they did last year, anyway).

That’s what I was going to say. I think it basically comes down to Josh Allen vs Sam Darnold. National media and most outside of buffalo are much higher on Darnold. Plus, he was hyped as the next great QB in the year+ leading up to the draft, where as Allen was almost universally trashed. Allen has a lot more to overcome to price people wrong. It’s easy to look for things to prove your opinion right. It’s a lot harder to admit you were wrong, especially some of the draft analysts (etc) that were so adamant Allen was not going to be a successful NFL QB. Even as a Buffalo fan I know that Allen has a lot to prove still, and that Darnold is ahead of him as an accurate passer (and probably on reading defenses and a # of other things. Darnold has received top QB coaching/training for much longer than Josh Allen has)

Really hoping they don’t but even if they do there is still time to get a deal done. Opting out would just start the clock on a potential lockout a year from now.

I think he’s said that Ristolainen was going to be traded to about 5-6 different teams in the last few months alone. The base of this whole rumor came from Friedman (or Dreger, can’t remember) months ago when he mentioned that buffalo would be looking for a young top 6 forward for Risto and he used Mantha as an example, and stated that it was just an example and he hadn’t heard anything connecting Mantha to Buffalo. Its not totally crazy. Yzerman was after Ristolainen when he was in Tampa, and Detroit needs RHD worse than Tampa did. So it wouldn’t shock me if it happened. I just put zero stock into Eklund saying it. I would be ok with a Risto for Mantha trade. I’m not as sold on Mantha as some others are. He is from the same draft as Ristolainen (2013) and only has 3 seasons in the NHL so far. He was trending toward bust status for a bit there, but made it to the NHL 3 seasons ago. Played pretty decent for his first 2 years (though there was, IMO, an issue with inconsistent play and inconsistent compete/effort level) and then he took a nice step forward last season and looks to finally be putting it all together. I’m just not 100% convinced that last year is who Mantha really is. He’s definitely trending in the right direction and is a legit top 6 forward right now. And it does seem to take power forwards more time to “get it”, so a slower development path for a player like Mantha isn’t unheard of, or even all that unusual I guess. Ideally, I’d like to see him prove it for 1 more season, but if he does then I doubt Detroit trades him (they may not even be willing to trade him now). If mantha was the best piece being offered for Ristolainen I would make the trade. Definitely wouldn’t be willing to add though. If anything, I’d want a pick with Mantha (just due to position value. Top 4, young RHD > top 6 winger) but if it had to be 1 for 1 I’d probably still do it. Only problem is Mantha would be yet another left handed forward. In a prefect world we trade Risto for a righty. But Mantha can (and does) play the right side so it’s really not that big a deal.

I was thinking of getting one but then A friend of mine who has one told me he hates it. He Said he tried to cook French fries and they wouldn’t get crispy unless there was space in between each fry, which he said made it so he could only cook a small handful of fries at a time. He said you can’t just put a pile of fries in there (like the pictures) and expect them to get crispy. Has this been been anyone else’s experience with the air Fryer? Maybe he just bought a crappy model? Lots of mixed reviews when I look online.
