  1. Makes me proud to be a Bills fan!
  2. Players reported to camp today for physicals. Practices start tomorrow! Were getting close now! Preseason starts in 4 days! That prospect tournament got me pretty excited, seeing the style of hockey Krueger wants to play. I love teams that constantly pressure the puck/puck carrier. They are usually exciting to watch, and are consistently some of the toughest teams to play against. I’m thinking they’ll use a 2-1-2 style forecheck as their main attack in the o zone, which should be pretty fun to watch...
  3. Continuity can be a hell of an advantage if you have the right coach, and I think we do.
  4. Really good article so far. I’m reading it now. Thanks for sharing.
  5. Nah. Way too many lines... lol Gronk needs something like Arnold Schwarzenegger’s role in The Terminator. He had 17 lines in the entire movie and many were only a few words.
  6. Speaking of Krueger... https://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/31-thoughts-tense-rfa-waiting-game-hits-final-stages/ I know I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again. I really thought that the Sabres needed a coach that would command the respect of the entire locker room and get real buy-in (like McDermott with the Bills). I think that’s something this team has really lacked. It looked like they bought in with Housley for a minute, but that quickly seemed to fall apart with the losing. Im getting hopeful that Krueger will be able to get real buy in from this team.
  7. Interesting. This would match up with the reports (published before Gase was hired in NY) that Gase was 100% all in on the Browns job, and only began considering the NYJ once it was made clear the Cleveland wasn’t hiring him.
  8. Ralph Krueger on the instigators - https://wgr550.radio.com/media/audio-channel/09-10-sabres-head-coach-ralph-krueger-instigators I love listening to this guy talk. Yes, it was very nice to hear that he plans to design a system specifically tailored to what This Team and These specific players do well. Ill wait to get excited until I see it put into action, but it’s definitely a good start and a refreshing change from our previous coaches ramming a system down our players throats regardless of whether it worked or not (Bylsma, Housley) or a complete lack of any system at all (Nolan).
  9. Wow! What a finish! Desean Watson was almost too good. Watson takes over with 55 seconds left. In two plays (two!) he drives for a T.D., taking only 20 seconds. Then they miss the extra point but get another try due to a roughing the kicker. Make it. 30 seconds left. Game looks about over. Then Brees takes over and drives them into Fb range with 2 seconds left... unreal. Im not sure wtf Houston was doing on defense on that last drive, though.
  10. edit, not sure why WGR took those links down, here are working links - Krueger - https://wgr550.radio.com/media/audio-channel/09-09-ralph-krueger Botterill - https://wgr550.radio.com/media/audio-channel/09-09-jason-botterill
  11. I was just coming to post this... lol. Listening to his presser now. So far I am enjoying the Adam Gase/Greggooo NYJ tenure.
  12. Perfect breakdown! Great job. Im getting aggravated reading so many of these national media articles about the Bills vs. Jets game. Bills are hardly getting any love. It’s all about how the Jets were winning all game and then choked it away, or how the only reason the Bills won is because CJ Mosley left the game, or their FG kicker sucks.... and all I can think is “it is so obvious that very few of the people writing these articles actually Watched the Bills vs. Jets game”.
  13. I jumped up and was yelling + celebrating. Didn’t see the replay, then I look up at the TV and Darnold is throwing a pass on 1st & 10 and I was like “WTF is going on here?!” lol Yep. I was totally fooled.
  14. https://theathletic.com/1195142/2019/09/08/a-surreal-victory-and-a-kinetic-rookie-devin-singletary-they-call-him-motor-revs-up-the-bills-offense/ (sub. required) Pretty crazy the amount of change on offense. Hopefully they will only continue to get better the more time they have together! Couple of my favorite quotes -
  15. Wow, New England is destroying Pittsburgh. Their offense looks pretty great so far. And they don’t even have AB in the lineup yet.
  16. Our defensive line as a whole looked night and day different from last season. We can finally get pressure on the QB again!
  17. Wow! someone in the national media who actually watched the game, and didn’t just get their story from the box score + stat lines....
  18. The more I think about the Bills passing 18 times in a row to start the game, the more I wonder if it was to prove a point. I’m wondering if they may have been a bit offended by all of the “make Allen be a QB to win” talks by the Jets players. Just a thought
  19. listening to Gase’s post game press conference, the way he talks about the game and the offense/defense he sounds more like the offensive coordinator than the head coach.
  20. I am sure Kets fans will say their kicker cost them the game, but I don’t care what they say, Buffalo deserved this win! In my opinion, the Bills were the better team the majority of the game, on offense and defense. They were just beating themselves with the big mistakes. Jets should have cruised to an easy victory with 4+ turnovers, a pick 6 + a safety. Odds of winning are something crazy, like 97% with that many turnovers. Yet they never really ran away with this game. Maybe for a minute there in the 3rd quarter they were, but the Bills really turned the momentum and took over again. Plenty of stuff to work on for Buffalo, but IMO there’s lots to be excited about. Josh Allen looked pretty good I thought. Encouraging to see him calling out defensive protections and checking into/out of plays at the line. He was also going through his progressions, another good sign. He looked in command of this offense. He started to play “hero ball” a bit in the 3rd. He was trying to get it all back with 1 play. But someone settled him down and got him back to playing within the offense and taking what was given. It’s going to take some time for the offense to gel. We are the only team in the NFL with 4 new starters on the o-line. Our top 2 WR’s are new. All 3 RBs are new. 3 new TE’s. A center that was snapping the ball to Allen for the 1st time in a live game today. All things considered the offense did pretty good. They moved the ball well most of the day. I am Very proud of the way they fought till the end. That was NOT the “Same Old Bills”. The same old Bills would have crumbled with all the things that didn’t go their way (and a LOT went against them today). But they didn’t panic, kept fighting and pulled out the win. Encouraging start to the season! A number of the young guys looked pretty good. Big division win, too.
