  1. Drinking the proper amount of water every day is one of the biggest, and easiest things you can do to prevent them. That is what they believe caused both of mine (as of now, anyway). I’ll spare you the details on the test specifics, but I had numerous tests done to see what caused mine and the only thing they found (so far) was that I didn’t drink enough water. There are other things that can put you at greater risk (like high uric acid levels or genetics as I believe they can run in the family. They definitely do on my mom’s side of my family. Almost Everyone has had them. Grandma, 2 aunts, an uncle, 5-6 cousins + my mom and I). If you ever have one they will do tests to see what caused it and if you are doing anything that puts you at greater risk as there are numerous types of kidney stones (calcium, uric acid, costing, struvite) and each can be caused by different things. Mine were/are calcium stones and appear to be caused by me not drinking enough water. My doctor said to make sure I drink at least 2 liters of water each day. He also said Lemon on water is great. Unsweetened. Just straight lemons/lemon juice in water.
  2. I just had my first one ever about 2 months ago. It was awful. I pride myself on having a high threshold for pain, but this was ridiculous. The pain came out of nowhere right around 5pm and just keep getting worse and worse. I finally went to emergency care first at about 11pm and the ER afterwards (and that’s something I don’t do unless I absolutely have no other choice). Puked all over myself on the way there. Was shaking like a leaf and moaning in pain. Ghost white. Dripping sweat. I actually almost passed out as I was being escorted to a room at emergency care. Thankfully the nurse caught me and stoped me from falling. Very glad I went to emergency care because they got me back there FAST, and got the pain under control pretty quickly once they realized it was a kidney stone with a shot of toradol (I refused the narcotic pain killers). They then sent me to the ER, where I had to sit for about 3 hours before they finally took me back (thank heavens I had that pain shot!). It took me a week to finally pass it. But, all things considered, I was pretty lucky because at about 5am the next day (after drinking a crazy amount of water) I felt the stone move out of my ureter canal and the pain was much more manageable after that. I was hoping to never have to repeat this, but at my 2 month follow up at the urologist last week, I found out that I have another kidney stone on my other kidney. Yay! lol Good luck! Just keep pounding as much water as you possibly can. Hopefully you pass it soon! And Hopefully they’re at least keeping you somewhat comfortable...
  3. That would be my guess, but maybe this one won’t be? I can can help you find a (free) link if you’d like to stream it. Let me know if you want it and I’ll message it to you.
  4. That’s exactly how it seemed to me, too. He’s repeated this behavior enough times now that it’s fair to wonder if he’s just following the same pattern of old. He’s on his best behavior while he knows he has no other choice. The way he is acting now is just like his first year in Buffalo. He knows he’s on a very short leash. If he plays well this year and solidifies a spot in Oakland, unfortunately I would not be at all surprised to see him start reverting back to his old ways again. I legitimately hope, for the sake of Richie and those around him, this time is different. I hope he’s getting real help to learn how to change and deal with his mental health and addiction issues. Because, if he can’t manage these issues now, while we under strict NFL + team policy + a strict, regimented schedule, and surrounded by all the support you could probably ever ask for, I don’t have high hopes for him after he retires.
  5. I thought that was a safety. Goes to show what I know, I guess...
  6. Normally I’d love it, and I still do. But I also don’t want them to do too bad because Miami has their 1st round pick, so I’d hate to see it be top 5 or something.
  7. I’d love to see what he could do as an offensive coordinator. I hope it’s something he has interest in doing some day (just not with any AFC teams).
  8. Ah man, I sure hope we don’t lose him for any extended period of time. He’s really been coming into his own. IMO he Looks better than Star, too.
  9. Yeah I was never overconfident about this game. Like you said they played Seattle tough and lost by 1 point. Then Kyle Shanahan just schemed the perfect game. It was a bad matchup for Cincy and Shanahan took full advantage. Credit to Cincinnati for the adjustments at half time. They were out-coached by the Bills in the 1st half and then turned the tables in the 2nd. This offense is still so new. I think there’s what, 8 new starters? It’ll take some time to gel. Lots of promising signs but they need to clean up the mistakes. Hopefully it’ll come in time. I guess this is a very complex offense too, so I’m sure that contributes. It’s actually very encouraging (IMO) that Josh Allen seems to be ok running it so early in his career. Some young QBs need to run an offense that is way dumbed down.
  10. Happy as hell for the win, but man what a roller coaster ride that game was... The win is all that ultimately matters. 3-0 baby! They Have To clean up the mistakes for next week though. The Patriots will bury them if they make those mistakes.
  11. This team, man. Let me tell you... If you hear that I’m in the hospital for a heart attack, you all know why. lol
  12. Come on now defense. We need you for One More Stop! Please!
  13. This was one time I was damn glad that my internet feed is about 45 seconds behind! Y’all saved me from 45 seconds of biting my nails and feeling like I was going to ? ?
  14. Wow. Allen willed his way to a 1st down there! Holy ****.
  15. Knox/Allen pulling me back in!
  16. If they lose, they damn well deserve to.
  17. Bills are in trouble here if they allow points. The way the offense is playing, I don’t even know that they can overcome 3 points by Cincy.
  18. Defense needs to come up big here. Turnover or 3 and out.
  19. If running the ball is working, Keep running it. They got away from the run last drive (even though it was working) and it killed the drive.
