  1. Lol, its one way to solve the problem. Bills GM Brandon Beane likes to fly under the radar...
  2. I've always been a big fan of the QB position itself and despite how tough Tom Brady was on Buffalo playing him twice a season was enjoyable to me because it was the best measurement you could ask for IMO. Until you beat Tom Brady your probably not ready to go all the way. Seeing Mahomes beat down by Tom Brady and a nasty Bucs D actually restored some of my likings for Patrick Mahomes. Humility is not always such a bad thing in my humble opinion.
  3. You know I could actually live with this If T J Yeldon was one of the two RB's and Buffalo drafts the best TE on the board. Pitts perhaps. My dream has a bama back field of T J Yeldon and Najee Harris. ( nailed it ) Najeeeeeeeee!!! The opposition!!! A man can dream...
  4. Buffalo got stomped by a Chiefs team that got stomped by a Bucs Team. It does suggest the Buffalo Bills need to continue upgrading at certain positions in the process.
  5. Najee Harris is probably not going to happen with the 30th pick IMO. Some teams needing that final piece to the puzzle are focusing in on the RB position and there are to many for Harris to fall to 30th IMO. I think its doubtful Beane reaches high enough to obtain Harris unfortunately. I expect Harris to go between the 11th and 15th pick. On a side note I think Buffalo is making a mistake If T J Yeldon is not in a Buffalo uni next season in my humble opinion. Yeldon should have been utilized more throughout the regular season and into the playoffs IMO. No, he did not. T J Yeldon could have had a monster game If Dabooll would have worked him into the game plan more IMO.
  6. I've got no problem with the comments. Josh may have said something like we have to play better as a team. I'm not trying to defend the guy, but everything he says is probably true. Mahomes was beat up again. Toe was killing him. From the top on down the K C Chiefs team was clearly not in the game mentally it appeared IMO. Its easy to understand why.
  7. Now Tom's out of our confrence I kinda like it when he beats up on teams in the AFC. Excluding the Buffalo Bills. Myself personally I do think Buffalo was a better match up with the Bucs then the Chiefs proved to be. The game was called differently. Officiating crew didn't allow the mauling that took place in the AFC Championship. I think the only way to correct the problem and I've said this before. Allow a red flag to ask If at a closer look If a PI has occured. Without consistency on the way PI penalties are called teams playing within the rules are taken advantage of IMO. Any penalty for that matter. Consisteny, accountability. Its not to much to ask. I'm not trying to slow the tempo of the game down. Perhaps If the Officials have someone looking over their shoulder they get it right the 1st time IMO.
  8. Weird wishing the Chiefs get crushed like they crushed the Buffalo Bills, how so? Brady and the Bucs didn't stop Buffalo from reaching the Superbowl. Mahomes and the Chiefs did. So it was enjoyable for me to see them feel the same humility our team and fans felt. Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth sort of thing. Nothing weird about it IMO. Rooting for the team that just mowed us over two weeks ago seems weird to me. To each his own...
  9. Well, we're not actually on the Titanic right now. Plus, you must admit threads like "your most painful experience ever" while painful to read. It was therapeutic for some of us. I thank Dr Icebowl for encouraging us into letting it all hang out so other board members can appreciate what we've been through. It hurts sometimes. Its ok to cry... I'm just saying...
  10. Different uniform/conference, same story Ice. Tom Brady, world champion for the 7th time.
  11. It appeared Buffalo over pursued allot against the Chiefs. The speed killed us. Although it was more due to trickery on the part of Andy Reid then anything IMO. I think Reid played into the agressive nature of Edmunds. Hate to say it. Buffalo got schooled... On a side note Mahomes arm strength and mobilty enabling him to roll one way and throw the other is a great way to get talented athletes in open space IMO. Josh Allen can make the same throws. RB's like T J Yeldon can flourish in the process IMO. Go one better, Najee Harris. Bama one, two punch...
  12. Or the Bucs front 4 made it appear that way. Losing one of your best players on the Oline doesn't help. Bad toe, playing at 80%. All probably contributed IMO. Chiefs D lost its edge. Distracted, can't say as I blame them.
  13. From the game within the game this is true. From a QB capable of scoring 10 points?
  14. and I get that about the rings. Brady could have been drafted by a badly managed team from the get go and none of this may have ever even happened IMO. The argument you make is not a bad one. I suppose you could say Tom Brady has also been very fortunate from a team/organization perspective IMO.
  15. Never mind me, Just one of them, don't say you didn't, when, well Its all good...
  16. 2 recent threads down playing Brady's role in the Championships? Without much Success...
  17. Get tight or try to force the issue. Andy Reid has a good run game and could have used it more. Perhaps part of it is Mahomes is still a young gun like Allen. Wants to make the big throw everyone is in awww of while Tom Brady on the other hand, is content to hand the ball of, manage the game to his best capabilities. Win in the process. Allens smart, he's watching it all, I'm sure he gets it. Buffalo will climb its way back...
  18. I think the truth is somewhere in the middle IMO. Special teams can also play a vital role in a football teams victory IMO. So you have 3 aspects of the game to consider IMO. Generally speaking to make the playoffs I think most teams are at the very least above average in at least two out of the 3. Sufficient in the 3rd. Most of the advancing teams in the playoffs are going to be good in all 3 phases of the game and to continue advancing probably going to be great on one side of the football IMO. Or very good in all 3 and well balanced between all 3 in coordination with each other IMO. So to me the world champs can come in differrent forms IMO. I think when you have a upper echelon defensive guru on one side of the football. A franchise QB and good OC on the other anythings possible. If you have the GOAT on one side of the football. Upper echelon defensive guru on the other, well, Tom Brady and 7 Championships... Regardless of who you may have wanted to win the Superbowl. I hope everyone who enjoys football realizes the history in the making we are all witnessing in real time. I think the game of football this season gave us all a little break from reality when we really needed it most in my humble opinion. Thank you NFL, way to finish the show... Well done...
  19. This post is for anyone who doesn't understand why Tom Brady is Superbowl MVP.
  20. 7 rings is impressive in my humble opinion. Playing big in big games is really what its all about IMO. It doesn't hurt the argument.
  21. Keep it simple, work the underneath, screens, dump the ball off to the RB. Soften up the Chiefs D. Everything Buffalo should have done. Perhaps could have done with a better run game. Tampa had Buffalo to look at and say this is everything we are not going to do against the Chiefs. Brady's no dummy.
  22. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/another-2021-mock-draft-dynamic-190329334.html Another Mock has Buffalo in the Najee Harris sweepstakes.
  23. I would say your OP nails it and why Najee seems like he's exactly what the doctor ordered as the process player that could put Buffalo over the top IMO.
  24. I think Harris may have Thurman Thomas all purpose potential that would really go well in tye Daboll/ Allen Offense IMO.
  25. I tried various trades with the draft/ trade simulator and its impossible for Buffalo to land Najee. Harris goes in the middle of the 1st. Alabama knows a thing or two about RB's. Harris fits the Bill IMO. Unfortunately I get the feeling to many teams want to get their hands on Najee Harris enough to reach a little more then Beane will go in my humble opinion.
