  1. @ExiledInIllinois Idea of the AFC Championship being played on Neutral ground in Glendale Arizona is the best possible solution in my humble opinion.
  2. Not in the rules, but I think we should always be exploring new and better ways to protect a football players body IMO. The games changed over the years. The way players tackle has changed. Happens once, it can happen again.
  3. This is the life they chose and most pro's in the NFL simply love the game of football. Damar in all likelihood loves the game of football. As a player you push through it. You make sure Damars efforts on the field this season mean something and get the same results Damar would want the close knit team of Buffalo to have in my humble opinion.
  4. To me this makes the most sense. BB of course would love this idea. Call the Cinci game a tie. You could even add another bye team or two to each conference playoff format.
  5. fair enough Myself personally, I think its possible in Allens case that the game itself becomes somewhat secondary to matters of life and death. As it should, allowing Josh Allen to play the game devoid of emotion. How a surgeon doing an operation might feel. My take on it anyway. Sorry If I offended you BIGFOOT
  6. Two different scenario's. Absolutely. thanks DrPJax for the great posting / replies. Myself personally, watching the whole thing unfold in front of us. I don't think you even had to be a Bills fan or a football fan for that matterfor this to traumatize you a little. I cried like a baby last night and its hard to think about the faces of our players right now and not tear up. I can't even begin to imagine how all the players must feel. Speaking of vulnerability, added chest protection perhaps? Thanks again doc
  7. I could live with that vs losing home field advantage.
  8. Well lets all hope and pray theres not to much grieving going on and Damar shows improvement. Josh Allen has been in the same situation before after losing a loved one. and played lights out...
  9. thats what I'm thinking, two days to regroup. Both teams were a bit traumatized.
  10. I like this idea, I'm not sure the Chiefs will though
  11. We have to fit the game in, There's no way around it.
  12. Helped me, and also helps explain how a how a perfectly timed blow to the heart with the heart chamber going in the opposite direction might knock the heart out of rhythmic beating. Or even stop it IMO.
  13. I thought it was a heart attack. A bad one. So many prayers willing it to not be true.
  14. Watching our Buffalo Bill football team of big, strong men. Some of the toughest and best athletes in the world. Break down and cry on National television. Knowing why, and what they were witnessing at the time. Is something that will haunt me until the day I die. Yup, I'll be up all night...
  15. A miracle in the making is priceless perhaps.
  16. As will I, Also seen the CNN report and had seen the friends tweet earlier This is good news in my humble opinion I miss you to ; )@muppy
  17. I agree, (despite being a mountain of a man) Myself personally, Josh Allen's mind reads and reacts so fast the poor decisions you speak of were made in a split second that often times relies on target tendencies IMO.
  18. Hearing reviews as seen from another persons eyes often times points out aspects of the game you otherwise may not have seen. Virgil gives us a pleasant, down to earth read I think all Bills fans can relate to and enjoy. Shaw's writting skills are 2nd to none IMO.
  19. Generally speaking Bills fans are built tough when it comes to harsh weather conditions. Goes with the territory. If the vote was close it would not surprise me If a little convincing would go a long way IMO. Some fans travel long distances to attend football games. Much money is already being invested. Making the game experience more comfortable and protectected from the harsh environment makes it more enjoyable and family oriented IMO. A better place to spend your time and hard earned money IMO. Better for the athletes, spectators, all concerned IMO. Skilled players are going to play at the highest level possible. More bang for your buck. Anyone that watched the Raiders vs Chargers Dome game, the ending, awwww man, now thats what I'm talking about...
  20. Myself personally, I think Buffalo becomes a much easier sell on the FA market when you can provide star athletes a controlled environment to play in 8 games out of the season. The Bills like to throw the football. Wind, rain and snow favors a good run game. It becomes magnified at a critical point in the season at OP. Home games in the playoffs are lucrative. Championships are lucrative. If the Bills had a Dome fans would be scrambling to find tickets Saturday night IMO. I've heard comments like so we build a Dome for one guy, Josh Allen. How much did we just pay this one guy? The teams not worth it? The fans aren't worth it? Winning Championships is not worth it??? We need to find a way...
  21. C'mone people now, Smile on your brother
  22. On a side note OP, as a possible replacement perhaps. Marcus Mariota is a UFA after the seasons up. 🤷‍♂️
