  1. Fitzmagic, If thats you, You got my attention Seriously, the way Joe Brady has Allen actually checking the ball down because he knows how well it works. Its something both Daboll and Dorsey had problems with IMO. Myself personally, I'm interested in seeing what Brady can do with an Offseason to tweak the O. I think the mans got some innovative skills of his own. Along with a QB that can execute any play. Throw anywhere on the field.
  2. Playing complimentary football. Joe Brady is game planning and play calling a more ball control, sustainable Offense. NFL evolves, Defenses were already giving the Daboll O problems before his departure. One dimensional, virtually no threat of a run game that's not Josh Allen. This team is much more balanced on O and harder to beat under Joe Brady IMO. 500 team before the Dorsey Departure. Winning 5 out of 6 going down the stretch through the hardest part of the schedule under Brady. Well rested high motor Bills D with half its starters gone.
  3. It really is like the football gods created the perfect arm, mind and body to pass and run in the game of football. The one man army when needed John
  4. Tua is a very good QB IMO. Accuracy off the charts. Taking players like Waddle and Moster out of the equation and lucky for us, Miami becomes much more defendable IMO. Comparing anyone to Josh Allen not named Patrick Mahomes is unfair IMO. Bills fans truly do have something special in number 17...
  5. Won't hurt my feelings If the fish bite back next week and munch down on cry baby Mahomes and his Swifty toy boy Kelce. Much to Taylors dismay ( she secretly thinks about Josh Allen ) In the Holiday spirit of things
  6. Happy Birthday Gugny!!! Nice way to celebrate your birthday with our AFC East Champion/2nd seed Buffalo Bills!!! Have a great day!!!
  7. Well I'm glad to get that monkey off our back. The grinch did not steal Christmas!
  8. One of the next two...( best case scenario) and us win out , lol ; ) Side note: Miami has the toughest remaining. schedule in the NFL
  9. You bring up an important aspect of watching football games as a form of entertainment. Flow of the game. Gugs touched on this awhile back as it relates to penalties. Nobody wants to watch a game where the winning strategy thought up by both teams is compromised with penalties. Holding on the Offense by way of example puts a team that runs the ball well into a passing mode. Why is holding is a 5 yard penalty on the Defense and a 10 yard penalty on the Offense? Myself personally Shaw, the NFL has to many penalties because players get away with them more often then not. For this reason adding missed or wrong calls to the red flag challenge would reduce penalties overall, not increase them IMO. It would also help identify the penalty where it is needed most. On game altering plays.
  10. I think part of the problem here Shaw is we're dealing with an imaginary line of scrimmage and in the past the officials have told players when they need to back up a little. I get the point of emphasis being put on it, but in this day and age why not mark it with a laser beam from both sides so players know when they block the beam.
  11. As If NFL officiating doesn't have enough controversial penalty calls and we want to add calling an obvious penalty to the list? Right. Thanks for making a point about the late penalty on the Chiefs. Game deciding penalties occur in most games. Paying attention to the minor details can be the difference between winning and losing. After what happened to the Dolphins with only 2 minutes and 40 seconds on the clock. It just goes to show regardless of how you try to play it on Defense. Sometimes the other team makes the right play call and play makers make big plays. Thanks Shaw for another great game review,
  12. Awesome stuff OP, It was nice to see most of the bounces and penalty calls going Buffalo's way for a change. The Mahomes meltdown was not a good look for him. Joe Brady with another impressive game plan and play call vs the defending Superbowl champs. I really liked the way we looked today OP. Glad you could be there to represent. Thanks for sharing
  13. It was a character assassination on McD. The players do care whats written about a coach and man to whom for many has become a father figure IMO. McD sure cared...
  14. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Much appreciated. By gradually allowing more and more contact to take place between DB and WR which does appear to be the case. More and more actual penalties are occurring, some called, some not because of it IMO. Give an inch and players will take a mile. Perhaps becoming more controversial with clear cut images of what the league calls a penalty is needed. When you start red flagging missed or wrong calls the league itself has to make a final determination for everyone to see. Uniformity on penalty calls across the league would become more easily established in my humble opinion. Thanks again for the insightful post.
  15. Needs to be changed to a 5 yard penalty IMO. Fair enough, In all fairness the integrity of the outcome could greatly benefit from shall we say better officiating. Adding missed or wrong calls to the red flag challenge is an easy way to correct mistakes real time.
  16. Adding missed or wrong calls to the red flag challenge brings about a more uniform way of officiating throughout the league. Officials want to cast a blind eye on penalties they get challenged. Bad officiating becomes easy to identify and removed If deemed necessary. It doesn't slow down the game because the rules to its usage remains the same. Players, coaches, fans. We all deserve fair officiating.
  17. Red flag challenge needs to include a missed penalty by the officials or to review a possible wrong penalty call by the officials. Its a simple fix IMO.
  18. The Bills went over 2 decades without getting into the playoffs before the McBeane regime. Revolving door at the QB position. We now have one of the best QB's in the league. Elite. Making the playoffs has become the norm. McD deserves credit for all of it. Mike Tomlin of the Steelers just fired his OC under similar circumstances. Let the season play out people. A win against the high flying Eagles on Sunday and its on like a MOFO.
  19. Offense, Defense, Special teams Joe Brady is off to a very good start with Josh Allen. Wow, what a sight for sore eyes...
  20. Same here, Good to see our Yodeling Yolo posting again. We missed you man!
  21. Great post Mango You guys have seen me float the idea of Ryan Fitzpatrick as Buffalo's next OC more than once. From a Bills/ players perspective If Fitz tells them something players will respond well and listen. Josh would respond well under Fitzpatrick. The Chan Gailey playbook with Fitz calling plays and poof, like magic, the Billls O and Josh Allen are riding high in the saddle once again!
  22. You hit the nail on the head. Josh Allen plays with a gunslinger mentality. One of the strongest arms the NFL has ever seen. Checking the ball down and taking what the D gives you doesn't come natural to him. Never has, and without the management part of the equation Allen will continue to have a high TD to INT ratio. So lets hope Joe Brady has the balls to get in Allens face and chew him out like Daboll or its all for not IMO. Myself personally Shaw, Josh Allen has all the tools, (and then some) the intelligence, and sees the field as good as the GOAT/ Tom Brady. Its up to Joe Brady now to make it work. Allen takes responsibility for the firing of Ken Dorsey https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/allen-blames-himself-for-dorsey-firing-but-insists-bills-aren-t-a-broken-team/ar-AA1k2CPH?ocid=xboxntp&cvid=c7db3f0fa75342b89e0cbff46b64e222&ei=14
