Nothing to absorb the shock on the exterior of a helmet right now so the brain is going to suffer the consequences. Cumulative for sure, and while Tua might be worse case scenario, all players are at risk.
-
Its about making it safe for players when they do make tackles. Its real easy for the back of a QB's head to hit the carpet. In a show of support for Tua I wish all QB's would put on the Guardian cap. Josh be the 1st Turn something career ending for one player into career saving for those that follow. On a side note that was Damar Hamlin taking another hard hit to the chest. Its very possible the Guardian cap also helps safeguard against that kind of hit that stopped Hamlins heart IMO.

League knows the problems they continue to have with concussions. I would be all over making this protection mandatory. The damage being done is cumulative.

Thought I would bump this thread because had Tua been wearing a Guardian cap throughout his pro Career, Tua's career wouldn't be over now. Tua was Born to play the game of football...

Fair enough, I do however think Kamala Harris had to also weather many of the main talking points and do her fair share of defending the Biden administration. Trump was given an opportunity to defend his position/words/ actions. I'm not sure that was such a bad thing.

I thought just the opposite. Trump did a decent job until closing arguments. Then blew it when he had the opportunity to end the night with something people can hang their hat on.

A Few Thoughts about the Cardinals Game, in no particular order
Figster replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was very happy with ball distribution and the overall game plan on both sides of the ball. I do however agree with you here and it almost cost Buffalo the football game. Bills needed a TD on the last possession to seal the deal. Murray in the last minute of a football game vs Buffalo? We have seen this highlight reel before... Thanks Virgil, much appreciated. You see the response. We like your unorganized thoughts. -
Sure you weren't watching Ken Dorsey and the Browns O? Poorly coached? Awwwww come on man😜 ( I kid Doc) Thanks Shaww for another great review. Love hearing your take. The Bills/Allen spread the ball around well in the pass and run game. So well, it had me asking myself, why isn't Kincaid getting more touches, or Keon Coleman. Only so many balls to go around. Diggs would have hated it. A formula by Joe Brady that compliments the D and wins football games. We discussed this in the past. Another horrible call by the officials in the 1st half really left a bad taste in my mouth, I could see it on the faces of the fans. Missed or wrong calls by the Officiating crew needs to be included in a red flag challenge IMO. Especially when the call or non call has a direct impact on game. Officials need to be officiated sometimes. Adds a little more integrity into the officiating part of the game. Its an easy fix IMO. Go Bills!!!

As do I, Steeler O was just not a good fit for Trubs,(or anyone for that matter) but I like playing him so you can evaluate the rookies with an experienced pro QB.
-
Preseason is more about player evaluation then tune up IMO. I can understand considering Buffalos slow start in recent seasons why fans would want better preseason prep for the starters. I do believe however the Joe Brady O is a different beast that more embraces the mighty Buffalo. The Bills are going to run the football down our oppositions F ing throat from day one on. I billieve...

No, don't play the starters. Vanilla schemes and inexperienced players trying to have an early impact to earn the start is a recipe for disaster in a meaningless game IMO. The Bills O Practices against a very good McD D. Same can be said about the Bills D vs O. More care is taken not to injure a fellow teammate.

The use of Aerial surveillance Drones with AI monitoring in direct contact with ground forces may help speed up the process of identifying and properly tracking a would be assassin IMO. -
Attempted Assassination on President Trump (x2)
Figster replied to Beast's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
If we can all just learn one thing about the assassination attempt last night. Even with the type of ads we run vs a political opponent. Hopefully it's to tone down all the rhetoric. Unfortunately some people can be convinced enough to take matters into their own hands. -
Perfect fit for the Josh Allen low trajectory, high velocity laser shots. Superstar in the makings...

THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - A Roster for McDermott to Work With
Figster replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
I realize we have Josh Allen now, but when you say completely different position. How so? New Coaches at OC and DC and many new faces on the 2024 roster. Bills QB's also lost their number 1 target/WR traded away by Beane. More similarities then you think...
