  1. The point was big projects can have design errors What do you know about Populous?
  2. I'm a retired survey/engineer that worked Nuclear construction so its enjoyable to look at a big project like this for the team I love. Fans need to be happy with what they will be paying for in my humble opinion.
  3. Design the top of the stadium like a ball thats cut off 3/4 of the way up. Upper tiers on platforms with a birds eye view. You get more seating and block the wind.
  4. and I get that, but generally speaking why not add more unique seating that starts going over the seats below with money that would have been spent on the useless over hang. Good point on the preliminary sketches...
  5. Even from a wind perspective the roof design and overhang appears like it may direct wind into the stadium IMO. They do have the roof/overhang angled. Angled from the opening sloping downward away from it. Angled again from the perimeter of the stadium inward. Draining water where and how. High wind can pick up sheets of ice. Is this partial over hang even worth the trouble and cost?
  6. What does this overhang accomplish, If anything. A safety hazard in the winter from above IMO.
  7. They go by what they are shown so far.
  8. Season ticket holders need to voice their concerns IMO. To me it looks like the partial roof overhang may become a problem in the winter with ice coming down from above IMO.
  9. When they already did last year during preseason in practices?
  10. Check this interview out and let me put an emphasis on zero concussions.
  11. The NFL mandates the protection. If you don't want to wear addded head protection. Sign a waver releasing the NFL from any responsibility should a head injury occur.
  12. Yes sir, I understand. They need to get past how it looks IMO. Its very possible a new helmet design could add protection along with reducing weight IMO. Slim line it some. I think by the time you put the team logo on the exterior it wouldn't look so out of place IMO. So we can avoid stories like this https://www.yahoo.com/news/former-mcdowell-linebacker-johnny-heubel-104227382.html
  13. Some of you may remember having discussions on TBD about this type of added protection being applied to the exterior of a helmet many years ago. My hope is enough testing has been done to conclude its time to put this new helmet technology to the real test during the regular season. At the very least allow NFL players to wear them If they so choose. Tua for instance. https://guardiansports.com/2022/04/06/nfl-mandates-guardian-caps/?_ga=2.122023627.1566566845.1677464407-1529632956.1677464405 Cleat design change needs testing Getting good traction without causing injury is a balancing act many teams are having a problem with including the Buffalo Bills. I wanted to bring this possible design change into the publics eye. It is my belief that a spike that is smaller in diameter and flexible will achieve better traction without increasing the chance of injury. Flexibility would allow the spike to bend with the force being applied and release from the playing surface easier. Everyone has pitched a tent. You know the angle the stakes need to be in to work. If you put them in the ground the opposite way they would pull out easy. Flexible spike would work the same way when force is applied. >>>/// Allowing for better traction with a deeper spike without increasing the chance of injury IMO.
  14. Without even seeing our best Defensive player in the playoffs in Von Miller and considering all the other obstacles the Bills faced I think leveling off is a fair assessment. The Bills are a better football team then we seen vs Cinci without making any changes on the roster IMO.
  15. This team is destined to win a Championship IMO
  16. My my , hey hey, rock and roll is here to stay. Its better to burn out then to fade away My my, hey hey
  17. Controversial more in the no gun vs more gun argument perhaps and where I almost put this shooting. Why does the perp have the knowledge she's carrying and an ability to grab for the weapon. What does she mean by trying to help him. (On a side note I want to say its very possible by the time the 3rd shot was fired that the perp was just holding on for dear life.)
  18. Being shot and killed by the gun you try to steal to go on and carry out more criminal acts with gives a valuable and possible life saving lesson in my humble opinion. Allow this mans life and death struggle save lives.
  19. If someone goes after your weapon Is wounding an option by way of training ? Or does it require an immediate deadly force response. If you don't mind my asking. I can understand If it does. Thanks I found the answer in this article, you are trained to shoot center mass. https://leelofland.com/shoot-to-kill-or-to-wound-the-answer-may-surprise-you-2/
  20. So woundings not sufficient enough? Now I realize in this instance it probably wasn't possible. Generally speaking. With all due respect @LeviF As an actual Police Officer responding to this scenario I understand If you care not to elaborate. Thanks
  21. You could also hear her say let go after the last shot was fired which indicates he never stopped going for the gun unfortunately IMO.
  22. What would you have done differently in her shoes? Is this the type of police officer mentality we need on the streets? Calling for an ambulace and giving medical attention is at the top of my list of things not done correctly.
