Dorian Williams in the Hoecht/Lorax role?
Buffalo716 replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dorian has immense physical talent Sometimes it's the recognition and the other stuff that he lacks in He does have a great combination of linebacker size and speed.. he certainly is pretty explosive I'd have to go back and watch some of his college tape again to see how his pass rushing was.. but he is better when he's just attacking So getting him closer to the line of scrimmage right on the ball might help him get involved He's not going to have a bull rush like hoecht... But he might be good blitzing up the A b gap -
Let's take a second to appreciate James Cook

Considering I never compared his running style to Thurman Thomas I said like Thurman he's going to run us to the Super bowl And it's debatable that he reads the holes better James Cook has elite vision.. world class World class vision doesn't get better than world-class vision even if they both had elite vision He's also on Pace for 1,800 yd which Thurman never did Thurman was a better all around running back.. James Cook is fantastic at running the football -
Kansas City was chucking up prayers all night Nothing worked on schedule.. like they're not a bad team but no good team is destined to win for eternity

That's why I think we finally can get past them if we even have to see them again There running game is anemic and ours is formidable

As I've been saying here for a while we certainly have an elite offensive run blocking line and it's still very good pass blocking But both our tackles are maulers in the run game... McGovern is a very physical center.. Torrence is a unit and Edwards is solid -

If anybody thinks this trade makes the colts Super bowl favorites I got a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn Really good price Indy certainly did not win this trade.. nothing like the Stafford trade -

That's why I'm man enough to come here and admit he's worth every penny and more rn I just didn't want to give a running back 15 million dollars a year who doesn't look like a traditional thoroughbred and hasn't done much blocking And he has continued to get better and better I'm afraid about getting running backs long contracts because they don't age well but he's absolutely electric and like I said worth every penny Not afraid to eat crow- 80 replies

Absolutely we have both always agreed his vision is as good as it comes .. truly elite He never looks flustered , never a wasted movement , he trusts his vision no hesitation... Everything about his running style before you even get into his physical attributes is elite -

Dalton Kincaid is our Big Time future star passcatcher He's already becoming a star before our eyes -
Cornerback also has the highest percentage of head injuries of any position Might as well basically include neck in the head These guys are running faster than anyone on the field and running into guys all the time... Constant whiplash 10 car crashes a game Lineman do the same thing but it's a smaller distance.. defensive backs and corners in particular play with a speed and then when they have to get physical are well undersized to most of the people they're going against Concussions highest rate is at corner.. I bet neck injuries aren't far behind

Hairston never allowed a receiving touchdown last year at Kentucky

I always thought he had tremendous talent.. with the way the salary cap is in the league I wasn't sure how much we could pay him... I thought 10 11 12 was maximum In our system with our team James Cook is worth every penny.. tremendous draft pick... Tremendous scouting for system fit Closest thing since a Chris Johnson since Chris Johnson He's on Pace for over 1800 yd and like 14 touchdowns... All pro This is going to prolong Josh's career and prolong the bills window... Having this kid who's going to be on a tear for the next 3 or 4 years His vision and speed and even finishing power all shines every Sunday... He runs effortlessly, he makes people miss in a phone booth.. he's knocking helmets off James Cook like Thurman is going to run us into the Super bowl powered behind this offensive line captained by Josh Allen He's playing like an all pro

Josh is seeing a heavy amount of two Deep even with our potent running attack Which tells you all you need to know about how much other teams respect Josh his arm and the ability of this team to still stretch the field Even Knox went down the sideline for a big pass the other day.. we have tight end stretching the field 20 yards down the field
