But beane does draft better rounds 4 5 6 7 then basically most GM His ability to find good football players round 5 is a great ability... I'm not giving up on Coleman yet... If there's one organization that could get into his head the good way it will be the bills Dion and shakir and Josh can right the ship... We need these three to lead by example for everybody on the offense

Josh after his 6 TD performance: "I didn't play well."
Buffalo716 replied to Sierra Foothills's topic in The Stadium Wall
A six touchdown game and Josh still did leave some on the table You will never hear that out of a six touchdown game in the NFL.... Josh says hold my beer.. we might see a 7-8 TD game one day -
Between the 20s there are just so many ways to exploit it in modern NFL But When the field gets condensed... And you're looking to win one-on-one matchups It's an alignment that can give you those one-on-one looks along the defensive line that you want , there's good pressure packages out of it In the modern NFL this is better with your back against the wall then applying it when you have 80 yards of field left

Honestly no I don't care how the Chiefs do lol Winning a Super bowl while they're in a down year would not make it feel any less gratifying... That's crazy to think that way Give me the easiest run to the Super bowl and the worst NFC team available

All true but I think beane has to start drafting more for instant success not 3 years down the road in the top 65 picks It's great he has this long-term plan but we can't always wait two or three years for a draft pick to come on There is a happy medium You really don't want it to take 3 years for your first round pick to turn it up Maxwell hairston is the perfect first round pick in my eyes.. he can play well now and he still has a lot of room to grow

Yeah it was a weird game They didn't look as sharp as they have.. and Monmouth did come out with a lot of energy But a dub is a dub .. beating Houston will 100% make me believe this is a sweet 16 team or better

I would not expect that But he seems like the type of guy who's a hard worker and a core special teamer.. just blossoming into his own as a wide receiver Where we could probably pick them up for 2 or 3 years as a cheap number four option... With the occasional ability to play a bigger role At this point he clearly is a decent number four or five.. when his number gets called he usually doesn't disappoint I would sign him to a modest special teamer fourth wide receiver contract... He's not going to be expensive and he is getting better

How sad are you that you come here to try to rile up Bills fans? I'll pray for you

Tabor/KOR Unit Shine in Win Over Buccaneers
Buffalo716 replied to HoofHearted's topic in The Stadium Wall
He has had some diversified looks in the kick return game all year they just haven't always popped Buccaneers also have terrible coverage unit... Realistically if you can't draw up a kick return scheme like this you shouldn't be an NFL special teams coordinator It was a massive bright spot though... Probably the best starting field position for the bills in a long time -
Josh Allen doing Josh Allen things, and why we need it
Buffalo716 replied to Ray Stonada's topic in The Stadium Wall
Listen I would like some more aggressiveness in the offense absolutely Give me a little bit of tempo too... But there might be a game in January where cook needs to run 21 times to win ... And Josh might only have 27 throws You're going to have to be able to do it every single way.. if you don't do it on the regular season you're not going to do it in the postseason... Can you win holding a team under 21? Can you win running without throwing good? Can you win throwing without running good? Can you have a game-winning drive? All of these things are something a Super bowl champion will have to answer.. and actually the bills have checked it off But I get what you're saying I do want the ball in Josh's hands more and I do want them to make him more comfortable with better offensive weapons -

Tom Brady won six Super bowls with complimentary football I wouldn't say it's a terrible strategy... Sean McDermott does not sign free agents or draft players... He literally gets the groceries and tries to cook them He does not bring in the ingredients... We've literally lost by a field goal back-to-back years to the Chiefs who went to the sb They're not that far off... No matter what anybody says... We also got them way more banged up in the playoffs We went in the arrowhead more banged up and lost by three... We are absolutely able to beat them Even if I want better wide receivers on the team.. this is a salary cap League.. I would not sacrifice our offensive line for flashy wide receivers andgive Allen the burrow treatment It means nothing to have those flashy toys when you're on your back and getting hurt all the time.. the best ability is availability.. and keeping our offensive line intact is more important than anything The Patriots won a couple Super bowls on field goals and another one on a goal line pick 6.. it's absolutely smart to care about all three phases ... Brady won Super bowl scoring 13, 24 ,and 20 Sometimes you need to win 24-20... Sometimes you need to win 38-35 Super bowl teams need to be able to win any style of game... The bills have shown they could win running.. they showed they could win throwing yesterday It's a long season and people get caught up in the ebbs and flows... Dalton Kincaid would be one of the most talented tight ends in the league if he stayed healthy -
In regards to the defensive holding Article 6 of the rule book clearly states that if player B1, pulls grabs or impedes a lineman, so player B2 can shoot the gap and block a kick or punt it is defensive holding I know it's a close call.. but from the rule book Alec Anderson clearly did impede the guy so Greg can make the block Player B1 help player B2 shoot the Gap by impeding a lineman... I would hope if that happened to the Buffalo Bills that they would also make that call It's different than say Alec Anderson bullying the lineman himself and jumping up and blocking it... Pulling or impeding the offensive lineman so your guy can shoot the Gap is not legal
-
You're not allowed to grab or impede an offensive lineman to let someone pass If you grab them and twist their body position or grab them and shook them it's always been defensive holding .. impeding them has always been a penalty Otherwise defensive lineman could just grab offensive lineman and twist and manipulate them every play so linebackers can shoot in behind them

Beane didn't draft tre or sign poyer and Hyde.. aren't you the one who told me yesterday he didn't sign poyer But I agree that he has hit on players and he does draft some solid guys We do have good football players I've always been the one here to push back that it's just Allen and a bunch of bums We don't have a lot of top five or top 10 guys at their positions tho.. it's a bunch of solid football players who have bought in Clearly beane does want that freakazoid on the D line because we have put a lot into it.. including draft picks It stinks that some of our best players.. Ed and Kincaid are always dinged up Ed does have blue chip talent.. and so does Dalton.. but my father always told me the best ability is availability
-
He always has drafted lots of NFL caliber players We used to be the last stop for NFL players... Our cut draft picks or not re signed are usually picked up ... He has lots of guys on Rosters What he hasn't really drafted is much pro bowl type players ... Lots of good , not lots of great cole bishop is saying hello now.. I really liked the draft pick and he looks like the light is on
