That's the difference Josh feels like he's this underdog cuz he didn't have a high school scholarship But He was a top 10 NFL pick .. would have probably been the number one pick if he came out the year before Everybody saw his talent once he blossomed.. the problem was he was so green it was 50/50 if he was going to be able to correct his flaws Which might I add as a scout still I've always said Josh Allen is eight bad games in a row away from reverting to bad form... Like 1/2 of a season being beat up and all his mechanics that he's cleaned up can go away He's not guaranteed to be the best player in NFL history he still has a lot to grow.. which is amazing because he is the most talented player I've ever seen He should embrace his dog status.. he's the alpha male of the Wolfpack... Brady's the reverse opposite.. he was actually a pretty big high school recruit.. Michigan a blue blood did offer him a scholarship.. he was a top 20 quarterback recruit... Even though he went there with the nation's number one in the same class which made people doubt him So he was actually touted out of high school.. he was also drafted to the majors in baseball... So Brady's a freak athlete despite his weird frame.. his intangible athleticism which is basically impossible to measure is off the charts.. consistently critiquing and getting better But he used his 198th overall draft pick slot to fuel his flame for 20 years even though he did go to a blue blood college.. Rose bowl MVP Josh technically has the pedigree with his pick and athleticism... He needs to embrace the dog that he had in him when everybody was calling him trash That's the difference everybody hated him and he proved the world wrong and now he's being called the most talented ever Brady was still never called the most talented over Peyton Manning at 30 which made him work harder -
That play sheet is defensive calls Sean McDermott has been our coach for 9 years and has never called one offensive play... Dude we've had four offensive coordinators that he trusts and he's willing to even can them Sure you could say he's pretty bad at picking offensive coordinators ... He certainly is not calling our plays Even sean McDermott is not dumb enough to call a run up the gut on 4th and two lol That is ridiculous.. Josh can change the play anytime he wants.. I wonder if he really wants to get Brady fired Because Peyton Manning would have checked out.. Josh 3 years ago would have checked out... Is he willing to go down with the ship so they get rid of the people ? Again I've never been one to think Josh is ever going to force his way out of Buffalo.. but exposing bad coaching to force them out is different

I thought this team doesn't have any talent according to people? It's Josh Allen and 51 bums He should at least get on the bums I want to see fire -

No offense but when your quarterback is getting paid $350 million dollars it always falls on the quarterback For 50 years the quarterback gets the glory and he gets the criticism If your team doesn't look up the play it's on your franchise quarterback to get them up I've seen Peyton Manning screaming at Hall of famers because they weren't playing up to his standard.. Josh has earned the right to hold players accountable That is the truth Peyton Manning is a gold standard Josh should follow that.. doesn't make you a bad teammate.. if you hold people to your standard.. You're a bad teammate if you scream at people and you don't have a standard Josh honestly lost all his leading fire as soon as we traded for diggs.. who became a vocal leader And Josh has been quiet ever since.. I'm 100% for Josh getting fire back and holding people accountable because he is one of the few players who has earned the right to do that -

I mean at the end of the day Tom Brady would chew out players and so would Peyton Manning You follow your leader which is your quarterback I'm not blaming Josh... We've all seen this team doesn't rise every week compared to what it's sometimes does against a big time opponent Sean McDermott has been the same guy for 9 years.. he is consistent Josh gives us way more ebbs and flows.. I understand the grind of a 17 game regular season with postseason and even Tom Brady didn't wake up 17 times If Josh is saying they wanted it more he also means it includes him.. not that he's the problem When Josh has the troops riled up... You usually see a different team This was a short week on the road a great defense.. maybe the bills don't care if they have to play the Patriots in the postseason because they think they're going to wake up for that and they're not worried enough one game take all I'm just spitballing... Because we have to hope -

You can't drive a Bugatti when you don't have an engine Our offense was puttering with stef diggs... So they went ball control Like if Josh threw 60 times today he would have left on a stretcher I don't know how anybody thinks they should open this up to a Bugatti Josh will literally be flatlined.. has to be in offense that can run the ball and work off that this season There's no just going out and throwing it 45 times The offensive system and the players on offense and defense are more of the issue... McDermott is trotting out no names at defense every week and over the hill slow veterans It's not his fault beane paid $80 million dollars to a defensive end who can't get a sack.. 45 million to a middle linebacker who is the size of a safety 15 years ago The cap and how it's managed is 100% the reason the Buffalo Bills are not on top -

He had seven pro bowl players in 2022.. multiple all pros and pro bowlers in 2023 Mark rypian won a Super bowl starting.. so did Doug Williams Josh excels anyways off script what makes you think he would excel in this shanahan West Coast offense where everything is designed to be three steps in the ball is out... When Josh doesn't even play that style of football consistently That's not his style.. Josh is a five-step guy a seven step guy move around the pocket create.. everything about shanahan is literally designed They drafted a quarterback third overall who could not fit into that offense but he had a crazy arm and athleticism like Josh Allen.. was even drafted higher than Josh Allen Now I'm not saying that he should have been better.. but Kyle shanahan was said to have loved him hitched his wagon to him and Mr irrelevant ran his offense better It's not about who's more talented at quarterback it's about who is willing to run his offense which is script and makes it boring to play.. Josh is not a scripted guy People would say we're holding josh back now would be saying it in shanahan's offense too.. it's very scripted and robotic Everybody saying we need to get Josh out of this robotic feeling but that's exactly what Kyle shanahan does -

Considering he's had better teams and hasn't won I don't know where you come to that conclusion Unless he brings his general manager from San Francisco which isn't happening Our problem is our 52-man roster is not as good as a top five roster -

It's called a system.. and again they had multiple all pros on their offense.. Christian McCaffrey their left tackle considered the best in the world, a pro bowl wide receiver... We have a good running back who's not as good as McCaffrey.. a good left tackle who's not as good as theirs And no wide receiver that's as good as theirs I don't think Kyle shanahan whose record is worse than Sean McDermott is coming here and just winning us a Super bowl lol -

Badol I've been talking to you for years I am obviously frustrated... But to think the window is closed when Josh has literally 8-9-10 years the windows not over We need to stop giving big contracts to mediocre players.. and get Josh somebody could get open John elway played 17 years before his first Super bowl win.. and he was the Golden boy the guy with the elway cross... 17 years Now I would like one this year but if we want it back to back on Josh's penultimate and last season when he was 37 and 38 that would still be the sweetest thing in the world I am starting to lose faith in the front office but that doesn't mean they can't get people in there to write the ship Kyle shanahan would give up 28 points a game with our defense lol He still has as much talent on his San Francisco defense even without two starters then we probably have right now.. and we're both allowing the same points for game No if he has Bernard and Matt Milano with our D line he's giving up 30 every game You're not masking linebackers who get washed out so easily at the NFL level.. and it takes three quarters to settle in San Francisco is in the same position of being good every year but never able to get over the hump.. and I don't think they will with Brock purdy -

Philadelphia has won two Super bowls in 60 years lol they ran plenty of people out of town for 60 years and it didn't do nothing They ran Andy Reid out of town.. they threw batteries at Santa Claus The Jets haven't developed a quarterback since Joe Namath! I don't think they were doing it better historically... Los Angeles has never won a Super bowl as the Rams either And Kyle shanahan has been in San Francisco for 9 years and not won a Super bowl and he's not getting any closer -

This off season is massive cuz yes now I am 100% certain it has to be pro Josh Allen No more signing defensive rotational players... Get Josh some speed and route running ability But Just like the Giants back in the day I don't think this season is over with... I always said the first Super bowl for the Buffalo Bills franchise will probably be as crazily spectacular as their history If that means running it from the wild card I can believe it -

John elway didn't win his Super bowls till he was 37 and 38 Josh still is hitting the prime of his career as a professional quarterback He has so much to grow with his reading defensibility and quick release.. he's not even at his peak I always said Josh at 30 is going to throw 50 touchdowns Let's see if we surround him next year and let him cook.. right now it's going to be a grind Thankfully we could score semi easily on the Chiefs and we're not seeing Houston's defense anytime soon with two stud corners and a crazy pass rush Even in the playoffs we're probably not getting that -

Absolutely I'm slightly whiskey angry right now But I will be over tomorrow and look at the big picture This team is a mess all over but that only means one thing.. it's going to tighten up They are professionals who have one job keep playing.. 4 and 12 teams beat good teams at the end of the year cuz they're playing for jobs This team is still playing for the playoffs if they have any heart they're not going to lay down and play dead -

My father's been watching since 1960 and he doesn't complain The bills losing the AFC championship and he says oh well good year we'll get them next year He was a college football coach.. I don't get that down because I never saw my father get that down Football players and coaches usually have a high resiliency -

You're making my point if the bills do nothing but win a Super bowl it's destitute and there's nothing But guess what even the '90s bills four straight AFC championships is an extreme accomplishment This board would rather focus on the negative then something good the team accomplishes throughout the season That's the masochism Trade Josh Allen because he doesn't deserve this is the masochism This city has loved him unconditionally and adopted him as a son.. any NFL player would fall in love with that and what it means He's a small town farm boy this is what he dreamed of... We're in the playoffs every year where the ball is in his hands to win -

John elway didn't win his Super bowls till his like 17th and 18th year in the league John elway The Golden boy.. the guy who left the elway cross Dan Marino's the greatest pure passer ever zero Super bowls To say Josh Allen has to leave us because we don't deserve him is Ludacris.. we do nothing but go to the playoffs every year and give him a chance to win -

Who says that? Warren Moon deserved to win a Super bowl and he didn't .. same with Jim Kelly But Nick foles a career backup has a Super bowl win as a starter That is the NFL.. Jim Kelly didn't deserve better... Josh is getting paid $350 million and he is the most beloved person in Buffalo No he has everything he's ever dreamed of There are plenty of first-round quarterbacks who don't last 5 years... Josh Allen has everything a human being could ever want.. money a beautiful woman an entire city that adores him -
Waddle is really good but we did offer more than enough compensation to get him They wouldn't trade him us for anything If an NFC team gave them the same offer they would accept it .. we did try.. even if that means we messed it up in the off season But Jalen waddle was never getting traded to us from the dolphins because they're not helping us out

The fan base acts spoiled We are acting like we're not making the playoffs and we're seven and four.. we were complaining at 7-3 Any football player understands it's a 17 plus week season and only one team wins it all... You're not trash because you lost in the AFC championship game But this fan base would make you believe that 100% -

This has way more to do with the mentality of Bills fans than it has anything else We were destitute for 18 years.. Got a sniff of success and became as spoiled as Patriots fans.. you could read it here on posts everyday The fact you can go from beatin and downtrodden to spoiled in a 9-year span is ridiculous It usually takes 20 years of success... This fan base is tremendously good but it also has the flip side that is tremendously masochist and hurt that they would rather say let's trade Josh Then try to just make the team better We go from downtrodden to having a superstar to not thinking we deserve that Superstar Dude this is the NFL.. Buffalo Bills deserve Josh Allen after 65 years -

People overstate that sentiment Philip Rivers Got beat down consistently.. never made it to two AFC championship games and he stayed in San Diego for 17 years and left when he was 40 Josh is not leaving anytime soon because.. A- he's too much of a competitor B- he's literally not even 30 the prime years of quarterbacks in the modern NFL are still coming up I am pretty certain he would retire early rather than destroy his Goodwill with Buffalo -
Why do people keep bringing up Jalen waddle the dolphins wouldn't trade us him for their first born son We offered them a first and a third round pick which is well enough compensation Any other team would have gotten that done.. not trading him to their 60-year divisional rival

Dude when you have no other options and you let a first round pick walk to play a third round pick and his contracts up I'm sure McDermott said I have no linebackers and I need guys... That does not mean you give Terrell Bernard 45 million dollars over 4 years He's literally a five six million a year player.. if he doesn't want to take that let him walk keep that money we could have got a better linebacker in free agency for 5 million a year Zach baun sign with the Eagles for peanuts and all prod... We signed a 223 lb always hurt middle linebacker with one good year to 45 million This isn't Madden you have a general manager for a reason.. I'm sure McDermott said I'd rather have Bernard then not have him if you're not giving me a replacement... That doesn't mean overspend on a guy who is the 25th best middle linebacker But they wouldn't sign a guy who was top 10 but we signed other guys to 80 million dollars
