Cole Bishop took two Tampa Bay points right off the board
Buffalo716 replied to Thurman#1's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yep noticed that live it was a great play Back in the day that would have been called a force out and they will give you the catch.. now you're allowed to carry guys straight out -
Of course but there's still a lot of moving pieces for lineman and the skilled position players especially in a gruden offense A quarterback has to be extremely smart in his offense because the play call is extremely tough.. but the linemen also have 150 different verbiages being used Every single player on the offense has to know what scatter to West right tight is... And then listen for their job in the play... With a lot of different personnel groupings and formations off of that... It's not an easy digestion John gruden probably has 1,000 plays in his book.. and condenses it to maybe 120 or 150 play on the call sheet... But you still need to know those 1,000 plays technically

Sean McDermott doesn't bring in the players He cooks the meals he does not buy the ingredients You could never turn chicken s*** into chicken salad.. how he has developed 5th 6th 7th round picks consistently is quite the testimony
-
I don't care how many yards they had they had 24 points I'm not talking about it anymore 24 points is not a lot of points to give up in the playoffs.. specially when it's under the team's season average Sean McDermott would have a job as a head coach instantly if the bills fired him.. he's not holding back a Super bowl champion roster with a bunch of all pros.. he's taking a solid roster and continually having them in Super bowl contention The Ravens had seven all pros last year and we beat them in the playoffs with one all pro.. that takes coaching .. they were a better team... I don't care what anybody says you're not lucking into beating a team that has severely more skill just because Josh Allen.. because as we've seen this year Josh needs to trust players around him Or it doesn't look good So no beating seven All pro Ravens shows McDermott is far from a bum.. because a bum coach would get steamrolled by a team with seven all pros We literally didn't even have 300 yards of offense but won the game... Even in the regular season week 1 versus the Ravens.. harbaugh got tight as the game went along McDermott stayed loose and the bills finished much much stronger... The Ravens got weak down the stretch the bills got stronger
-
Dude Patrick mahomes has been scoring 22 points per game The last 2 years If that was the bills offense everybody would be freaking out.. we scored 28-29 points per game and people lose it And no Sean McDermott is 100% a top 5-7 coach in the NFL.. there's not 8 coaches better over the last 8 years He's not good just because Josh Allen.. he would have a job in a millisecond as a head coach if we fired him Josh makes the bills much better he's not taking us from a two-win team to a 13 win team.. we went to the playoffs with tyrod Taylor
-
That Indianapolis offense was good It would score points on a lot of teams.. The end of the day we held them to 24 in the playoff game I'm talking about... That's the only thing that matters Sean McDermott is a great football coach.. he's not taking a roster with seven all pros like harbaugh with the Ravens and under producing This is a roster with one all pro and good football players.. and McDermott can win a football game in the playoffs versus a team with the most all pros in the world

NFL International Series has been a huge success
Buffalo716 replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
The AFC South would refuse to have a full-time team in Europe... Not to mention I don't think any American football players want to live there We tried that and it was terrible -
They also don't tackle in practice nearly as much as they used to back in the day It's why tackling is so sloppy with A lot of teams around the league Watch Cincinnati tackle lol it is worse than Buffalo

Not all Brotherly Love around Jalen Hurts in Philly
Buffalo716 replied to stuvian's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's because Jalen hurts is very overrated as a paser He was able to consistently play good down the stretch last year and get the ball to his top guys.. but that's never been his game If the league has caught up they really might be struggling offensively because hurts is not a top five or even top seven quarterback.. he's a great athlete not the best passer -
Any equipment needed for things like coaching, analysis, or training is transported as part of the team's larger logistical effort for road trips yep
-
Dude you can give up 600 yd... Technically... It matters how many you give up point wise.. You could give up 575 yards if the other team only scores 24 points at the end of the day... Realistically the only thing that matters is points against ... nd scoring more than that Obviously your right u want better but that was Philip Rivers last oorah! A borderline HoF QB who was putting everything on the line ... And their offense scored 28 points per game in the regular season... Buffalo Bills held them to less despite the yards
-
It's NFL.... This has to be a huge blow to his ego... But he didn't even really get full real practice week... Like a real practice week too work hard and show he could change.... This little short week isn't enough time to change any minds.. probably had no chance of playing If he works hard in practice for a couple weeks and the Offense is lagging again he mite get another chance

Spencer Brown Mic'd Up 11/16/25 vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Buffalo716 replied to Ralonzo's topic in The Stadium Wall
All that is true ... For sure But the fact he didn't beat out Spain , and that situations mean everything... Sure he could've obviously improved here... I don't think beane saw anything close to a future pro bowler in Wyatt... Otherwise he wouldn't have traded him for a 5th and 6th... sometimes a player needs a kick in the ass to wake up... Keon needs a kick in the ass... Maybe teller did too -
Scatter to West right tight, F left , 372 y stick z spot That's a simple gruden play call
-
It's just like learning French or Spanish Football is a language that these people are learning for 15 years... You also get what you put in That's why some players don't last long because at the NFL it's even more complex than college Jon gruden is historically known for Old School West Coast 20-word verbiage plays You need to be extremely smart to execute his offense

Ronnie Lott cut off his pinky so he wouldn't Miss time due to injury Until Bishop is willing to sacrifice a limb Ronnie lot is not a line I'm willing to cross
-
His magic 8 ball probably
-
They averaged like 28 points per game in the regular season with rivers They held them to 24 in his final hoorah.. the game he put it all on the line They had a great line , a stud young running back running hard.. couple good tight ends ty Hilton and Michael Pittman Scoring 28 points per game in the regular season is not a bum when Patrick mahomes has scored 22 points per game The last 2 years
-
Philip Rivers is a tremendous quarterback and was doing basically what Daniel Jones was doing right now and look how good they are Patrick mahomes is obviously a beast Philip Rivers is way better than Daniel Jones and look what the colts are doing right now.. they have a really good offense in place Philip Rivers had a great offensive line and a running back with some weapons a better team than he had in 12 years in San Diego no matter what their record says And that was his last hurray Patrick mahomes is Patrick mahomes and can score 30 on any team just like Josh Allen... Gabe Davis looked like Jerry Rice versus the Chiefs secondary We had none of those big time weapons they had.. they had all pros we had stefon diggs who didn't show up big in the playoffs
-
This is the last thing I'll say on the subject it's not a lame excuse They had four players on the injury report... Patrick mahomes who is 100% playing.. two backups and 1 starter and they played .. any injury that happened 8 weeks ago is irrelevant because they're professionals and adapt.. I never throw von Miller's injury into our injury discussion because we had eight weeks to adapt okay The bills didn't have their best safety.. and lost their best cornerback in the first half But we had 10 players on the injury report going into Arrowhead.. in a game of inches ... Played without two starters ... Six starters and two contributing backups on the injury report with fresh injuries from the last 10 days This is a game of inches and all of that happened and we lost by three... If we were healthy we're beating the Chiefs That doesn't even talk about the injury report two years ago I don't care if you don't believe me I am fully certain that the bills can and will win versus the Chiefs if healthy.. beating them five straight times in the regular season shows we can .. that's not a fluke Everybody says they have a better roster than us yet were barely losing while being hurt more ... Ravens had six all pros last year and we beat them in the playoffs Maybe McDermott's not that bad of a coach
