Marv Levy, the countdown to 100 years old! (August 3, 2025)

He's definitely leading the charge for the opener I would assume If he is a good health and the weather isn't too bad it would be great for the last game at the Ralph also -

Well unfortunately I don't make the rules and I can't tell you why they think there is a difference He truly 100% has his players best interest at heart... I believe that Maybe because the boosters have a actual record of all the food travel and money which is probably used for tax purposes for the school.. to show where XY and z did go Instead of somebody saying yeah this is what I did with it -

Because you can do all of that through your school's boosters Teddy Bridgewater is smart enough and Rich enough to in fact set up a booster program at his school If I did this I would be suspended.. like he has good intentions but there are rules in place and he could get travel and food and all this stuff from his boosters The football boosters could have formally done all this.. he could have donated all this money to the football boosters and they could have paid for all of it -

That's also because Ohio has a private football culture Go to Texas 90% of the teams that are the best are all public Ohio is known for large private schools and sports like Saint Xavier... Texas is known for public school football that have 15 division one players on one team Western New York puts out more division 1 football prospects then some states in total -

I get what you're saying but guess what the Catholic schools in Western New York recruit also We're not Delaware lol Might not have teams with 20 division one football players like Texas But there is football talent and we send a lot of kids FBS and FCS And you have a little hyperbole saint Xavier's holds like 10,000... I've had season tickets at UB for 26 years and they absolutely bring 15 20,000 -

Because the person I quoted said that since Bridgewater was doing this at an inner city school that he must have been turned in by private and Catholic schools with more money to mess up his program My rebuttal was the best program in Buffalo is an inner-city program that canisius can't take the prospects away I don't think this is because he's at an inner city school.. if he did this at a Catholic school he would still be suspended -

For a public high school football team All of those things need to come through the boosters.. Bridgewater could have set up a better booster club and fed all that through this And it would be 100% legal The fact he circumnavigated the boosters is why he got in trouble -

Yeah I mean I'm sure everything was in good taste But there are guidelines in place for high school sports and everything he did probably had to go through the boosters Booster clubs can fund the purchase of new equipment for the entire team, cover pre-game meals, travel expenses, and other miscellaneous costs incurred by student athletes and coaches If he just did this through the school's booster it would have been good but him trying to get donations outside of it definitely is what got him suspended Not only did he use his own money he tried getting donations outside of the boosters -

The best football team in the City of Buffalo and western New York is Bennett from the hood They're putting out multiple D1 players every year and would smoke 98% of public or private teams in New York state They have had an unreal 5-year run -
Maybe paying a guy a hundred million dollars before you have a quarterback is risky But if I'm a general manager I'm still trying to lock up any good pieces I have even if I don't have a quarterback.. even a Ryan Fitzpatrick level guy would look much better throwing to a Garrett Wilson I'm glad they actually would throw a hundred million dollars at a guy when they don't have a consistent guy to get him the ball... Better than going to Baltimore or Pittsburgh in free agency who we might see in the playoffs

I understand that.. there's also the difference between the team we put on the field in 2018 which one like six games and Compared to a tanking NFL team which.. the bills haven't even picked number one overall in like 40 years We've very rarely ever even sniffed that bad even if we've had some bad teams the last 20 years We whooped an 8 win Viking team on the road with our transition team.. that alone shows we were not barely NFL level.. we beat a 9 win Titans team There was some promise to be seen

We literally went to the playoffs the year before we might not have been a great team we were not a bottom feeding tank team lol we literally cut some deadweight salary cap players to try and flip the roster quicker We were not a 1-15 type team.. as evidenced by the record We also got extremely lucky that we did not ruin Josh Allen because 100% it's easier to ruin a good quarterback than it is to develop one Brandon Beane came here and fixed our wide receiver core and offensive line in pretty quick time... Especially knowing that Rome wasn't built in a day Were we amazing in 2018? No.. I've seen plenty of worse NFL teams And that still doesn't mean you want to be without talent when you finally find a quarterback lol

Bills announce training camp headed back to SJF
Buffalo716 replied to The Wiz's topic in The Stadium Wall
They’re less the Buffalo Bills as they are the Western New York Bills.. your own words .. drawing on our regional fan base I'm saying it's great we have fans in Rochester but we are in no shape or form the Western New York bills Not even in sentiment -
Well if your whole strategy is to pay nobody If you ever find that franchise quarterback your team is going to be so lacking talent that even a tremendous prospect would be destroyed behind a weak line with no weapons that certainly is a strategy to destroy a potential franchise quarterback in two seasons lol Even Peyton Manning isn't getting through that lol The 49ers haven't had a franchise quarterback in years and they've been to the super bowl recently.. Purdy is a glorified game manager but wins because of the talent around him
