Watkins continues to be more of a detriment than a boon to the team that starts him.

There is definitely some truth to the fact that the pass protection is making Josh uncomfortable. Even on the underthrown pass to Diggs right at the end of the 1st half, there is pressure in Allen's face when he unloads the ball (I just rewatched this play). He has no chance to step into it and has to lob it off his back foot. Not saying that is always the case on some of these inaccurate throws but I think the constant pressure in the pocket is affecting his ability to keep his mechanics under control. So like I said I would like Allen to leave the pocket more. That is where he is at his best. He threw 2 TD dimes from outside the pocket today.

He looks like someone that has been over coached to stay in the pocket and throw touch passes. Josh Allen last year was stiff arming LBs and throwing finger-breaking rifles. Daboll needs to go to him and say forget everything I taught you this offseason, just go out there and have fun again. The TD drive right out of the half was exactly like that. He was running out of the pocket and throwing darts. He should have hit McKenzie for a big completion but threw a lollipop pass, maybe to make it an easier catch? Next time rocket it in there. Josh just needs to be Josh again. I think within the next 2 weeks we will see it.

Epenesa was solely responsible for putting the Dolphins back in the game. That huge hit on Tua immediately gave them competent QB play. He needs to play smarter than that.

3 LB sets means Taron Johnson is off the field so I strongly disagree with this. Klein saw the field because Edmunds was out for the entire 2nd half.

Eh it was a bad throw, behind the intended receiver. Usually it wouldn't have been a pick but it was still a bad throw. And he had a throw intended for McKenzie that probably should have been picked because he lofted it instead of rifling it. Allen has not been his usual self the past two weeks. He is making inaccurate throws that last year he was hitting. It isn't time to hit the panic button yet, and I agree the pass protection is contributing to the regression in his mechanics. If he gets out of his funk we could be unstoppable.

This was definitely weird to see. I never thought I would complain about Allen not throwing the ball hard enough but I think he's overcorrecting a bit. That almost pick to McKenize is a good example. The window was there, he just needed to rifle it in. Overall he just didn't look comfortable in this game, every time he felt pressure he was throwing off his back foot.

Spencer Brown is not a guard. I could be convinced that he should get time at RT though. Darryl Williams looks like someone that got the first big contract of his career and decided to mail it in. I don't think he will be on the team next year.

With Tua in the game it would have been even more lopsided. Brissett played decently all things considered. The Dolphins are hopeless until they get a legitimate QB in the building.

Epenesa looked like a DPOY candidate. If the pass rush keeps it up we can keep up with any team in the league. If the 2020 offense comes back we will be Super Bowl favorites.

I am in awe at how dominating this defense has been at every level. Every yard the Dolphins get is a fight and requires perfect play from everyone involved. I know we still have some truly elite offenses to face but what a start.

Allen fantasy owners losing their mind right now. Moss is looking good as the wrecking ball back.

I love seeing that face on Allen. I hope he carries this confidence through the season.

That was not an underthrow. He had his guy in single coverage and gave him a chance to make a play. Diggs is the kind of receiver you can take that shot.

Good on McDermott and Daboll to give Allen a confidence throw. That's just great coaching.

Do you feel good about this pass offense? I don't. Luckily it's early in the season and we have time to correct it. Allen needs to use that rocket arm of his and keep his mechanics under control. The offensive line needs to be a lot better, or maybe Williams needs to be benched. Daboll needs to stop calling long developing routes. Lots to correct but plenty of time to do it.

Well there are legitimate concerns about this passing offense right now. QB play, pass protection, play calling, it has all been kind of bad today. Hopefully they figure it out. I want more than a playoff appearance this year.

He did it last week too. It's like someone told him he needs to work on his touch passes and he took it way too hard.

I don't know why Allen is throwing all these touch passes. Throw some rifles.

Taron Johnson and Milano have been absolute monsters in this game. They aren't giving up any ground.

It's to the point that I'm wondering if Spencer Brown should get some snaps. He can't be worse. Williams is easily cut after this year without a lot of dead cap.

Darryl Williams is a real problem right now.
