  1. That's because he already "knows" he's the #1. He is such a tool, truly entitled, acts "untouchable" because he's the "#1, right?"
  2. Maybe, just maybe, Patricia knows a thing or two about bellicheat and brady, since he's been with them since 2004. Just saying that might be it.
  3. One can only hope. Or, matt patricia knows a thing or two about brady, and bellicheat, since he's been with them since 2004. That's more likely.
  4. I don't think Brady has ever lost 3 in a row I also think they are known for going on big winning streaks after losing 2 in a row
  5. He is old and tired. If they start 1-3 they will have a hard time winning 10 games this year. I still won't count him out until we know it's over, but I foresee his decline being swift when it happens, but we won't know that until after all is said and done, since he just threw for 500+ yards 3-0 td-int in the Superbowl earlier this year.
  6. Phins. I'll take 4-0 dolphins and 1-3 pats any day of the week. Dolphins will crap the bed themselves, so I'm not worried about them. Pats always find their stride, so the bigger hole they dig, the better.
  7. I was always optimistic about the future, after this season, going forward. I was okay with taking a "mulligan" this year, with all our dead cap and rookie qb., combined with our oline and wr situations. I know I said I would like a bad record and a high draft pick, but we have a ton of cap space, and looking at big name free agents, they will be less likely to sign here if we are hot garbage this year, so having a really good season with a really good rookie franchise QB and a top flight defense could lure in good free agents. I don't think we are as good as the score entailed yesterday. We had some crazy sack-fumbles early on in their territory, which gave us a big boost early. I Don't foresee that happening all the time. I'm optimistic and would be happy if we win and are actually good, but not happy if we pull off another 8-8 mediocre campaign. Anyway, go Allen, go bills.
  8. I just threw up in my mouth. Thanks for that trip down memory lane. I feel like a sexual assault victim in court having to recount the incident. Well he tagged me in it, and I wasn't offended that he did. I don't think he was being malicious. I'm good with it.
  9. SouthNYfan: I know but you said all of us. So I'm telling you I'm not rooting to win right now. I want a top pick. I don't cheer for them to lose. Going into games I'm looking at the future right now, in a rebuild. No, I'm not disappointed, I'm actually very happy with the way they played. I'm also not going to sit around and pretend that one game means we are going to the Superbowl. We might, who knows? Winning a couple of games during the season and finishing 6-10 again isn't productive, it's why we had a 17 year playoff drought. We got our QB it looks like, which I'm happy with, and have been stoked about him since we got him. If we finish 6-10 with a meh draft pick though it's not going to help the team as much as finishing 3-13 with a top3 pick would.
  10. When you have a guy willing to go balls out 100% of the time, it is very contagious! It's one of the things that Derek Jeter (and Pete Rose back in the day) was known for. Bottom 9th, down by 6, two outs, meaningless game in early season, Jeter would run out an infield ground ball like it was his last breath on Earth. That's what I see in Allen. Play hard, all the time, never back down. That's how teams win. I see this in all the greats.
  11. I think part of shorting the deep balls is being used to his receivers' speed.
  12. Right. Rodgers is 60-15 at home in the regular season all time Rodgers at home is the biggest reason for the line, combined with us being terrible the first game and a half, then great the second game and a half, Vegas isn't sure what team we are, but are predicting we still suck. I say we are better than the first 6 quarters, not as good as against the Vikings, and will be somewhere in between
  13. I will concede that Foster gets open quite well. His ability to actually catch the ball is still nonexistent overall, but maybe he can learn?
  14. **ill quote myself to eat crow on this one. well played buffalo, well played indeed**
  15. "Crap. I didn't practice my TD celebration..." Pain heals. Chicks dig scars. Glory... lasts forever.
  16. Pretty FLY for a white guy.
  17. I'm with you there. Our blocking wasn't great, but it was lightyears better than the first game and a half. Houson's D is a huge mess, so that game is a tossup to me, since they are so talented they could turn it around at any time. Titan's offense looks awful. Their D isn't terrible, but we might be looking at Blaine Gabbert at QB instead of Mariota, that would be AWESOME. Indy is pretty much where we are in terms of consistency/talent I believe, so that could be a really good game. I'm going to pencil in GB as a loss, even after the big game this week, as Rodgers is REALLY good at home, like the best home QB in league history. I don't foresee us forcing 4+ turnovers against him, but you never know.
  18. They looked a lot more aggressive with the playcalling on the defensive side of the ball this game. I wonder if the conversation McD had with him was basically "look, just do your thing, don't be scared about it. call what you think is right, don't be afraid to make a mistake on it"
  19. RIP Liked him too. that sucks.
  20. I'm not shocked at all based on how we actually played. We were all-time bad the first 6 quarters of the season on defense. The last 6 have been awesome. I am shocked at the sudden turnaround. So we have a 50/50 split of amazing and terrible, which seemed to turn the corner when davis retired and mcd took over the playcalling. Did we turn a corner for good? Who knows? I do know that coming into the season we all had high hopes for the defense, so i'm not incredibly surprised at it looking good now, I was more surprised at how terrible they were the first 6 quarters. Offensively? We still weren't great this game, but we capitalized on great field position. That's encouraging, and I'm hoping that Allen continues to find a rhythm with some receivers (screw KB) and can continue to progress. Go Bills.
  21. I'd like him to hurdle tom brady into the HoF though
  22. I hate foster and I would put him above KB at this point. KB sucks.
  23. I'll eat some crow. I thought we were going to get decimated (so did the rest of the world)
