  1. Just watch. Shady will be traded next.
  2. They better have a good story. Explain their vision clearly. Otherwise, I'm done.
  3. CLOSE THIS THREAD. THERE'S ALREADY ANOTHER ONE!
  4. Do you think 76ers would trade Joel Embiid for an "available" center like Ian Mahinmi or Nikola Vucevic? Embiid has played 31 games in three years. By your logic they should. That kind of thinking is why Bills are perennial losers.
  5. you give away a top talent for mediocre. Trading rolls royce for a chrysler. you think that's smart?
  6. I don't know what these carolina boys are doing honestly. setting up a farm system for the rest of the NFL?
  7. This is as BAD A TANK JOB AS THERE IS. BY GIVING AWAY FRIGGIN ASSETS!!!!!!!!!!!! MAKES NO FRIGGIN SENSE! We already have Tyrod Taylor as TANK COMMANDER! THERE'S NO NEED TO GIVE AWAY WATKINS AND DARBY!
  8. are you freakin kidding me? You give away the most physically gifted WR of the best WR draft for WHAT??? a MEDIOCRE WR with an EXPIRING CONTRACT??? It's like hey let me trade in a Rolls Royce for a Chrysler and a scooter. woot! I got 2 vehicles! Son, that's how the poor gets poorer and the rich gets richer.
  9. Where is the vision? Where is the deal making ability?
  10. I feel like I just got punched in the gut. This is a MUGGING.
  11. WATKINS is a generational kind of player. He had some injury issues yes but nothing unfixable. His physical talents are OFF THE CHARTS. His foot was finally healing. Give him a HALF DECENT QB (not one rated last in passing in NFL) he'd be a perennial pro-bowler, and the kind of WR we need to break games. Now we get middling AND EXPIRING CONTRACTS for a generational talent. Beane is a FAKE.
  12. Come on. There's some truth in that. TT has trouble targetting WRs. Do you recall last year (or was it the year before) Sammy had to bytch in the media about not getting targets? It was only after that, that he started getting more targets from TT. That's when Sammy's numbers exploded. And thereafter Sammy got half of TT's targets to WRs or basically thereabouts while other WRs were essentially ignored. Tyrod's great at deep ball. And running. There's a reason we were the LAST IN THE LEAGUE in passing.
  13. Yes. I kept clamoring for longer throws. He did attempt 1 or 2 that's in the 20 yard range but they were the fluttering type. THAT was the biggest question he didn't answer tonight. Yeah he had zip on the short throws. That touch throw was right on money. yeah let's not forget the good things he did too. Let's see him make progress over the next 3-4 weeks. It does look like he's been working in the off season before coming to camp. That's what I'd like to see from young players and rooks. GROWTH from off season.
  14. Exactly. Let's not get carried away with Peterman. Although, in 2-4 year's time, he could be some other team's Tyrod Taylor. IF you have the right kind of scheme. IF you tailor your scheme and play calling and personnel to his strengths. He can start. Just like what we're doing with TT.
  15. Yup. He's ahead of cardale. Cardale's still a good project. But doesn't fit this OC's scheme though. He needs the ball out quick, timing throws. I can see how Peterman fits Dennison O.
  16. You guys should watch Broncos vs. Bears. Their undrafted QB Kyle Sloter looks better than Peterman LOL. 4/5 for 70, QB rating of 158 for 1st drive.
  17. SLOW DOWN. He looked good at times against scrubs. And missed throws against scrubs. He didn't show enough to be a starter. No need to talk about old ghosts. He's a promising project. Mentally he's ahead of the curve. Other things he has to work on.
  18. I'd have him ahead of EJ mentally. He's seeing it, and he's throwing it. That surprised me. His accuracy gets in his way. EJ didn't see the field at times.
  19. He's a 5th. And looks better than a 5th rounder. Did you see the way he evaded that rusher? He did lots of good things. Also. There's lots to work on. He's a project.
  20. At times he looks a bit like drew brees, without the arm strength for long throws. At other times, his throws were off, like a rook.
