Yeah that's why they spent the money on kicker this off season and signing all the FBs on runing game. This year is about D, running, keeping things close and winning with kicking. BUT I am hoping we don't get there so we get a shot at one of the top QB prospects next year. I think with good discipline we could have eeked out another 2-3 wins last year i.e. 9 win season so it isn't far-fetched. I've always said over-all talent on this team IS GOOD. And with very good coaching can eek out a playoff season. But QB play is going to hold us back.

We need more from Tyrod. We need GROWTH from Tyrod. Otherwise he's a quality backup QB.

This was always a 4-3 D personnel. We lost 2 years because of Pegulas learning curve. Oh well.

I always thought personnel here was more of the 4-3 D. And that's why McD jumped at this. So early in the season they are starting to remind me of the D with Schwartz.

That's unfair to label the kid EJ. He's got time. I think Savage was better. His arm strength is not great. He isn't as quick nor fast as Tyrod. But he was poised for a rookie and did good things. It'll be good if he can play backup for a year or two.

I don't think it's dying but I think you can begin to see that it needs some serious changes or it will go the way of boxing.
