4-13: Ian Wharton Talks NFL Draft on WGR
Radar replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just tell me your qualifications. Not some general statement about what people know. Drunk fans call in sports talk shows all the time that want to tell us they know more than the coach. Opinion is one thing and giving an impression you know more is another. I believe I can handle whatever fans have to say as long as they don't definitively put themselves as knowing more than General managers, coaches, scouts etc. -

Your arrogance is what's laughable. Why if you're so much better don't you get their job. Send in your superior resume. I'm sure they'll line up to hire you. Frankly why don't you tell us your verifiable qualifications then I'll be more than willing to put as much weight on your opinion as the "experts". -

I guess when trying to evaluate these quarterbacks I will listen to people who have spent hours, months or more studying them. Some posters speak so definitively about something they know relatively nothing about. Let's discuss it but why do you talk like you're an "expert"? You are as much as saying you can't try trust the"experts" so trust me. -
Former Bills OC has Final Exam grades for top 6 QBs

Will the 2018 Bills be better then the 2017 Bills???

No. Period. -
With Ritchie Retiring, is the Season Over?
Radar replied to Buffalo Bills Detective's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Honestly this news hasn't altered my expectations for next season which weren't high to begin with. Took a miracle to get into the playoffs. We are more than a quarterback away , folks. Not against trading up but not to second as then cost vs risk in my mind too great. -
Don’t bet the farm on at the QB roulette table
Radar replied to VTBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh but this sounds so cliche. Sorry it does. -
Is it just me or is this board attracting disagreeable and disrespectful posters. Sometimes I think sports fans are particularly infected by it.
-
No. Two reasons , one too much and two don't want him even near my team even though his talent is exceptional.
-
Yeah, Pats want us to drain our draft to move up so what do they do? Give out rumour we're thinking of moving up for a qb. Jets move makes this even more logical and more pressure.

Moving up to #2 = No Playoffs for the next three years
Radar replied to Domdab99's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks. This team backed into the playoffs and it took a miracle td pass to seal it. Please fans don't think this team only has a quarterback problem. -
I like this rational. Beane very well may feel only one guy is worth the capital to move up. Also agree that there is serious reason to doubt the Giants want to trade down in fact I don't think they "want to trade down" but under certain circumstances and the right assets in return may consider it. Too many here assume they are willing to trade down. Frankly #12 is probably not that attractive to them.
-
No problem. I agree no need for more threads but that goes for the trade up crew as well as the keep the picks gang. Sorry miss understood funny as snarky. Man let's just get this draft over with.
-
Because it's not your agenda? Seems there is no shortage of threads of your agenda. Why does an opposing agenda get you so snarky. By t wondering?
-
I will too. Guys watch a few games on Saurday and become experts and think they know more than scouting or GM's. Example is Josh Allen. Bet no one of us fans know a tenth as much as scouting staffs do. Their opinions are most likely media driven as mine are. Take Kiper for example who I think watches a lot more college football than most of us and his draft board gets blown up most of the time. Sure they can generally predict who goes in the first round but where in the round not as precisely.

Josh Rosen snaps back on Mora comments

I would take him at 12 but not sure I would pay the price to take him in the top six. -
Josh Rosen snaps back on Mora comments
Radar replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Am I missing something? I'd stay away from Rosen. Could see him as a very expensive mistake if we trade up for him. He's going to be a bad team guy and of the guys commonly mentioned my last choice. Will be interesting where he's picked. I could see him the second qb taken but could also see him dropping down to the fifth or sixth. -
Bad feeling that we take Mason Rudolph
Radar replied to Klaista2k's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is how I feel. Except even if they move up for Allen I'm okay with it. As you say I trust scout and our GM more than fans and Allen from what I've read is rated much higher than a number of posters have him. Come draft time we'll see. -
Injury history and questionable character. I get the feeling him and Mayfield both have character questions. I think Rosen is a bigger risk than many fans acknowledge.
