  1. since drafting Allen there has been an imbalance in the weighted value of their picks. I added up all the values and it heavily favored defense but tbh you can see it just by looking at the draft history page- after taking Allen the next four years' worth of top picks in the draft went defense/defense/defense/defense. I'm not sure another team after taking their franchise QB has done anything like that
  2. Then why tf do you keep @ me when that's the premise I was responding to originally from someone else
  3. Ok you don't like QBs then let's look at top 10 highest paid DEs Or how about corners or left tackles I'll spare you the suspense- not a lot of Super Bowl rings on any of those lists That's because there aren't a lot of Super Bowl rings to go around, not because being paid in the top10 of a given position means it isn't important, or you shouldn't spend $$$ there. You're arguing a bad premise.
  4. Before you contradict yourself further I wanted to let you know I have no idea what your point is anymore and you are free to continue arguing w youself
  5. very clearly talking AAV
  6. I did the draft value chart on Bills picks O vs D last season 'heavily slanted toward defense' is a fair characterization of our team specifically...unsure how it stacks up against the league as a whole
  7. i mean it wasnt great going into last season
  8. Do they really? Highest paid WR changes all the time as well And don't change the subject to 'high end contracts' lol. The guy I responded to quite clearly used lack of SB rings amongst top10 highest WR salaries to say they're a bad investment. I'm simply giving you the QB contrapositive to illustrate the silliness of the argument
  9. Does he really have a strong leg tho What evidence is there of that?
  10. so ill put you down for a no on extending him
  11. they certainly do, here's the 4th down bot obviously very very strongly in favor of FG which strictly as a component of EV i 100% agree with however i would also add some context to the decision tree- for example you can see if the 4th down attempt is successful your win percentage immediately jumps over the successful fg attempt...i would further complicate the matter by looking at allen's playoff success rate on 3rd/4th down and the fact that bass is a 33% kicker from 40-49 in the playoffs i think fg is still likely the call but i dont think its a slam dunk like some here seem to
  12. It's very tough having to read 'why is this board so negative' and then 'shakir is basically a clone of diggs' in back to back threads
  13. Yes it's amazing what going from a defensive HC to an offensive one can do for a QB
  14. I mean we basically just tried this and he missed it
  15. 😂😂Right so we've done a significantly worse job at WR than the team that famously alienated their star QB over not doing a good job at WR not great bob
  16. We could probably handle it better if we had Jordy Nelson on roster
  17. we'll see we got a ton of mileage out of morse's athleticism in pin pull...that motion was one of the centerpieces in our rpo sets. thinking this yr we will see a lot more power/duo w mcgovern, not sure how that translates to the run game overall.
  18. zero of the highest paid QBs based on average annual income this year have ever won a Super Bowl and only two have even made it. Should we move on from Allen and not jump back into this crazy QB market because nobody wins Super Bowls with expensive QBs?
  19. He wasn't even the best steeler on his team
  20. im just saying...those are some big feelings about people you happen to disagree w over the internet
  21. are you supposed to be one of the positive ones or something
  22. would not surprise me if the pass pro improves but the run blocking suffers w/out Morse
