  1. Yeah exactly👍 Like I said before...this isn't exactly a Shanahan/Purdy situation. I think Staley for example would get laughed out of the room if he kept putting the blame on Herbert. I mean Tomlin for sure can get on Pickett when they're not clicking because 1 he's got the cache and 2 it's Kenny Pickett...but the way McDermott's been on Allen as of Monday night seems a little wild to me.
  2. Davis fumbles too
  3. I'm not anti weed lol I'm just thinking out loud is all. McDermott's gone out of his way to criticize Allen since the Broncos game ended and this most recent press conference...I just thought it was weird. Maybe I'm not listening enough to other HCs talk about their QBs when their team struggles but I don't think he goes in on Allen like this unless he's 100% secure in his job.
  4. Must not be watching enough film
  5. I can't get over how weird it is to bring up Allen's joy playing at Wyoming lol This dude never says anything even remotely interesting in press conferences and now he's reminiscing about scouting Josh Allen in college like wtf😂😂😂
  6. link to the full video if you're interested, its 13mins long lol particular quote in question starts around 3mins in
  7. not that. like almost anything but that Allen's not some rookie you can give a little shove publicly to get him in gear. He's one of the biggest names in the NFL. You just can't be so free w those kinds of statements about your QB as HC
  8. He fired him midseason after losing to the Broncos on a special teams gaff, I don't think he needs to take any veiled shots lol
  9. That's how I felt before today but after listening to everything McDermott has put out publicly since Denver....he's been uncharacteristically critical of the offense and Allen in particular
  10. food for thought that I hadn't considered before today in a battle of wills that would eventually decide who stays and who goes, could Allen potentially lose out to McDermott?
  11. That's my point. Even in the postgame presser he was clearly flustered and immediately went to bat for the defense while saying the offense is the problem. The guy is not approaching his job like an HC right now. He's just responding like a defensive coordinator.
  12. I mean to me, and maybe it's the confirmation bias talking so take it fwiw, this sounds exactly like getting the narrative out there that the offense is the root cause of all the issues. Because it can't be the defense. Because McDermott's in charge of the defense.
  13. You don't think this is a weird thing to say as a head coach in reference to your QB? ...McDermott on why he think that's dissipated with Allen over the last few weeks: "Yeah, I have my own thoughts, but I won’t go there right now. ' That is a legitimately bizarre thing to say in a press conference.
  14. there's no half agree emoji
  15. LOL people have been saying Ravens need to get Lamar more weapons to develop his game from the pocket for like 3 years running now
  16. Good Burn the blue pants
  17. I think the distinction for me anyway is that the Ravens offense requires it of Jackson And not for nothing but they're different kinds of runners wrt avoiding contact
  18. Lamar is great tho, it just looks different It's similar to Allen tbh which is why I never understood Bills fans who don't like Lamar
  19. I agree w this I also think there's no shame in admitting that taking an organization from mediocrity to respectability and taking a respectable organization to the top of its field are two different skillsets
  20. O/u 8.5 times the word class is used to describe frazier
  21. It also leaves the door open to getting back in the NFL if you don't air out your former employer
  22. I feel better now that Leslie Frazier said everything is ok
  23. you cannot honestly believe this
