there's definitely luck involved in securing that tenure
But if you don't have that...imo in order to be a top guy w job security that you need to be pretty faultless elsewhere
Regardless the standard is out of control
It's not enough that he's statistically the top QB in the league, he needs to be the top QB every single week...just not realistic
Not sure where that was...I would not personally put our oline in the top5
Eagles, Chiefs, Ravens, Lions, Vikings to me are pry clearly the top units in pass pro
@GunnerBilldont just throw those disagree emojis around, jump on in lol
i mean we got Allen's peaked/he drinks too much/doesn't put in the work in the offseason/can't control his emotions...something for everyone😂
I think he just needs better skill players on offense and consistently average oline play. That and a decent run threat will pay dividends
imo the mindset/emotional aspect is overblown. You can read into a million things differently and come to conclusions
No offense but I question whether you would recognize his ceiling if you saw it
The consternation around Allen this year is fascinating to me...he is playing the most efficient ball out of any QB in the league rn in the midst of probably his best season ever and people can't stop talking about what's wrong w him.
That could also be accomplished by morning him out wide tho right
Is this a specific look they're trying to get on tape or something? Or is that motion across formation just standard
ty 🤙
so Torrence just wasn't able to get to the second level but the numbers were right
one more question specific to this play, what does Diggs playside motion accomplish here?
Torrence looks kind of unsure of himself in zone blocks vs Jets
@HoofHearted
question about the first play of the second half Jets game
looks presnap Jets are in single high man w 8 man box, Bills offense 11 personnel w Davis inline blocking...do they not have a check for this? Or is Brown supposed to wrap instead of doubling there? Just hat for hat there's no way this works unless someone missed their assignment
EDIT maybe Torrence misplayed it actually
😂😂it didn't deserve anything more
The people like you and @GunnerBillwho treat every individual game as a symptom are hilarious to me. Not only because the NFL and the Bills in particular just do not operate that way, but because the predictability of the criticisms of 'he must have mental issues and/or dire romantic entanglements' and 'hE's NoT puTtiNg iN the oFfsEasoN wORk' in games the Bills lose are only matched by the softening of the narrative in games they win...wherein Allen actually does well...which must mean he has in your mind resolved these issues...for just one week until they lose again lol. You guys must be exhausted.
