  1. First round offensive players are just better value overall for this team in that you are getting guys w NFL traits that get the luxury of playing w Allen, they are predisposed to succeed Continuing to draft defensive players w first/second round picks and attempting (sometimes failing) to fit them into your scheme on defense is -ev imo another first rounder on defense this past offseason would have been suicide
  2. No Allen's cap hits since 2021 have been $10M, $16M, and $18.6M respectively Chiefs won a SB w Mahomes at a $35M cap hit
  3. Time from snap to throw Brock Purdy: 2.81 seconds Josh Allen: 2.85 seconds
  4. nice catch
  5. good call For me the TD to Diggs is the reason some fans will either never fully appreciate Allen and some think he's the best in the league. Mostly because the throw that most fans scream they want him to take is the first level crosser underneath to Shakir. It's there, it's easy, the ball is wet...he probably gets the first down there. But Allen can see the Diggs throw even tho it needs to go thru 52 earhole into a window the size of a grapefruit
  6. Interested to know how you define massive pay grade Allen is 9th overall highest paid QB in the league which is a bargain any way you slice it. And the Bills have him at 11th highest cap hit for 2023. This regime has completely and utterly failed to capitalize on the immense production/salary ratio he's provided
  7. Scoring 25 points against the Patriots beats them literally every single game this season other than when they dropped 29 on us. If you cannot conclude giving up 29 to Mac Jones is the primary reason we lost that game we can just drop this conversation because we will never agree
  8. He is playing at an MVP level. The team is 6-6. You can apportion blame how you see fit. Allen deserves very litte of it imo
  9. The Allen rhetoric has hit peak stupid imo There is a ton of evidence this year to suggest he's having his most efficient season to date. The metrics have him at the top of the league in almost all relevant QB categories. The counting stats similar. And watching the games as we do it should be overwhelmingly obvious that his production outweighs a high turnover rate.
  10. You don't have to go to Harvard to understand that fewer (not 'less'😂😂😂) turnover increase win% but I'm glad to see we are making progress lol
  11. Mahomes: 2nd in Value vs Avg 11th in CPOE 5th in success rate 3rd in ELO 6th total EPA 9th in Win%added
  12. Allen's 2023 campaign thus far: 1st in Value vs Avg 4th in CPOE 2nd in succes rate 1st in 538 ELOmodel 2nd in total EPA 1st in Win%added this is the statistical profile of the best QB in the league
  13. To make you mad
  14. The only way the offense can be said to have played well is if they score a minimum of 30 points, per game, distributed evenly throughout each quarter New to this football I see
  15. Lmfao So scoring points late is bad, but also scoring points early is bad
  16. Right Right...so it didn't matter that the eagles scored a bunch of points in the 4th quarter as opposed to the rest of the game because clearly scoring late in games does not hurt your chances of winning
  17. The eagles only has 14points going into the 4th quarter v Bills Was their offense the reason they lost to us😂😂😂
  18. 😂😂😂Are you under the impression that point scored in the fourth quarter are less valuable or something
  19. We lost those games more because of the defense We gave up 500 yards to the jags and allowed twice benched Mac Jones to go off
  20. Look at what we gave up on defense to those teams
  21. Offense was fine v Jags v Pats
  22. Not that I don't appreciate @FireChanswork But there already exist a suite of QB specific (and offense in general) metrics as they relate to efficiency I would encourage folks to check them out if interested https://www.nfeloapp.com/qb-rankings/
  23. Doesn't quite have the lower body strength for that I was hoping he'd be more like his brother...in his prime Dalvin Cook was a violent runner
  24. Right it's totally unreasonable to expect the defense to be able to function if fewer than half the starters aren't first round picks or all pros
