Dicker...there's a program on History channel about dickering. In the NE that's what they call haggling or negotiating. So...the moral to the story is that the man wearing the tee shirt doesn't argue with his wife, but, he does negotiate with her. Really a very civilized way to cultivate a relationship.

Late to this party. Not singling you out in any way...but, I hope that this thread isn't double digit pages about whether Whaley or Nix or Whaley & Nix decided that EJ was the guy. It has nothing to do with the topic...why is Marrone upset with the higher ups? It isn't Manuel, it's much too late for Marrone to be upset with last year's #1 pick.

Big difference, Whaley's job is dependent on those decisions. Going into a season with a rookie QB (I was told months ago that we can't consider EJ as a first year QB because of his injuries last season), a guy you thought was OK and an UDFA first year QB just isn't what you want an NFL team to do. Then why take up a roster spot with him? What about the QB coach that is currently on the team?

I think it's a clear cut case of Tuel envy.

Careful what you ask for. You take offense because someone says that the team has a lot of talent? You take offense because he starts the sentence with "I think" then you point out that he's voicing his opinion? There's plenty to B word about but not one of them was in the post you took offense to.
