With our First Pick in the 2022 TSW Mock Draft 1.0 The San Francisco 49ers select Jalen Pitre, DB, Baylor. The Kansas City Chiefs @Logic are on the clock. San Fran is going into this draft with needs at OL and CB. We we excited to see our 33rd best player sitting there for us at 61. In the slot at Baylor this year allowed 31 receptions on 54 targets gave up 0 TDs and got 2 Picks. 49ers think there is enough fluid in his game to play outside, but was a primarily slot corner in College. Finished the season with a 88.6 grade in PFF. If he fails at CB he could move to safety as well another need for us is versatility in the defense. We are excited a late 1st round grade to our team in the late Second. @Virgil

Agree 1.5M more and Bates remains a Bill. No one would give up a 2nd for Bates. Bills rightfully valued the 3 year player with 6 games of meaningful production.. There are OGs still on the market that can bring the same if not Higher production (not the position flexibility) as Bates.
