We already covered this. Or Harrison Phillips or Star. Right? They aren’t all playing at the same time. Kyle would be nice to have back in a limited role if he would accept it.

No one said it would negate brining Phillips back, when Kyle is on the field Harrison, Star or Phillips won’t be on it. The injury risk is already sky high. Again, A reduced role and salary would be ideal if he doesn’t retire. His knowledge and personality is worth it even if he is only playing 10 snaps a game. I’m just not sure he would agree to that.

36 Y/O Kyle Williams or Jordan Phillips? Or Dirty Harry in his second year? Like I said above the rotation has allowed Kyle to extend his career. Fast forward another year he is an average DT at best. Our love for Kyle isn’t going to stop Father Time. Counting on him or Lorax to play significant downs would be a mistake. I’d offer both of them reduced roles and contracts and then a position with the team.

Yeah 36 year old DTs are going to have injuries even on a reduced snap count. Just because they have been fortunate this season doesn’t mean it will happen next year. The odds always even out. The rotation has helped preserve him but counting on him going forward would be a mistake. I think Kyle will retire at seasons end anyways.

They are old enough that it won’t matter to me either way. By next year I don’t expect either would remain healthy for another full 16 games and if they did it most of it would be played at replacement level. Lorax and Kyle both should be offered a coaching/mentor position. They represent the culture that it takes to win.

Top two. Packers Dline is decimated right now. Cinci is just cashing checks. Steelers and Vikes are good against the run, Miller isn’t reliable.

Sarcasm? Fournette is under 4 YPC for his career. He runs like a bull with little wiggle. That is the weakness of Edmunds. He isn’t the guy that is going to torpedo into a hole and crush a RB. He likes running sideways and making tackles. Great range but soft.

That’s what a lot of people assume and it’s not true. I have watched most of their games and the problem is the coach and QB. He has plenty of weapons, the young kids actually look the part. If you dare venture over to the GB boards you will see even their faithful blame the QB and coach. MM and AR have become the couple that can’t get along and no one wants to hangout with.

Aaron Jones is averaging 6 YPC and also contributes in the passing game when targeted. Look at Rodgers stats on third down. The disconnect with him and MM is the problem. Yes, he should run Jones more. Yes, Aaron should take layups on 3rd down and stop shooting for the moon. It’s a mess over there.

Was Jeff Fisher in Hard Knocks? Is that what finally did him in? After seeing Hue on there I was sure that would kill his career. I would be shocked if he ever gets another HC job.
