If you want to have an honest conversation about the possible reviewing of penalties you need to use the view point of the league. This games popularity is driven by gambling, like it or not. Any changes would have cater towards that. There is zero chance they are going to allow league employees to phone down and change calls that were made on the field. Using examples of tennis and other sports were replay is used to determine right and wrong is also misleading, the NFL has discretionary calls. It’s a bit different than did the ball hit the white line or not. They definetly could improve things but I’m not sure replay is the way to go. The biggest thing they could do is drill the refs on calling the games the same way every game, even in the playoffs. I like the hockey approach of swallowing the whistle/flag in the playoffs but you need refs that can manage that and still see the obvious when a play like the NRC one occurs. Needed to make that call. Preseason or SB, it was blatant.

I think the only one taking Foster over Golladay is a Bills fan! Here’s to hoping you’re right, I just don’t see it. Golladay has rare size and elite hands, Foster is an unproven burner. I see it as a poor man’s Michael Thomas against a poor man’s Ted Ginn.

Gurley is 16-1 for SB MVP, I like it. If he returns to form, he wins it if the Rams win. I think the game is 50/50, could go either way. I don’t see Goff torching the Pats secondary and I don’t see any of the Rams WR being a threat. They spread the ball around too much. Donald is 25-1 but I don’t consider him a threat, only one interior guy ever won SB MVP. (Richard Dent) Bleh. Just some food for thought way far in advance.

Golladay is the 1 there. Jones is a fine two. I’d take those two over anything the Bills have.

Gurley can exploit those linebackers and take pressure off of Goff. His presence create the spacing guys like Woods/Reynolds need. CJ running up the middle isn’t going to get it done.

Get Gurley healthy, when he is rolling that offense is complete. The screen game needs to be on point. It’s going to take more than meatball C.J. and Goff if they are going to win.
