Exactly right. The people who were saying Lynn over McD would be an ongoing thing should own up to it. I had Lynn as coach of the year after the KC win. This lost is on the coaching staff, playing zone all game like the Steelers have done against Brady. Drool at an 80 percent completion rate and 3-1 TOP or send a friging BLITZ.

Asking two LBs to do that limits depth and limits the chance of a younger guy taking those snaps and filling a role going forward. One is fine, two at the same position seems like overkill.

Beane says he is going BPA in the draft, with 10? picks (IIRC) they will end up with a LB at some point. I’d rather not keep around two guys at that stage of their career who would basically both have the same role. Mentor/part time player. Jordan Hicks would be a high risk high reward signing, if could stay healthy he would improve an already solid coverage unit.

One year left....isn’t that same mindset they are lending towards Lorax? There is risk, using multiple roster spots on old guys jeopardizes the depth and puts you in a tough spot next year come draft/FA. It reminds me of Patriot fans getting excited over the corpse of David Harris.

Revamp oline, Revamp the backfield. I don’t care what McCoy fans say, he is toast. If by some miracle he has another season over 4.5 it’s still better to be a year early than a year late. Get a stud in the middle of the draft.

Colts lead the league in 12+ play drives, I heard the stat this morning on the radio, I can’t recall exactly how many. Mack has been a beast since getting healthy and taking over the featured roll. Damien Williams is better than most people think but I’d take the Colts oline and Mack against KC’s D in this one.

Pick 4. Cowboys@Rams, Cowboys+7 I listed this one first, it’s the game I like the least as far as betting. Is Gurley healthy? Is not having a true home field advantage going to cost LA? Too many questions, I’m taking the points and the better D. Eagles@Saints, Eagles+8/ML Wentz and the Eagles were destroyed on their first visit to NO. I expect a much better effort against a team in NO that may have peaked too soon. Chargers@Pats, Pats-4 Chargers are coming to the East Coast for the 2nd time in a week and playing a rested Patriots team. LA is missing a few key run stoppers and I expect the Pats will take this game over in the 2nd half. LA will look exhausted by the 4th. Colts@KC, Colts+5, ML Colts have a more balanced offense, a better defense, and they are healthier. Berry is out again for KC. Andy Reid’s playoff history is questionable and so is KC’s chances of winning this game. I feel like the Colts are a lock this week. goodluck gents!

It’s just an article for clicks and discussion. It’s a fair point. If Mahomes continues to destroy the league any team would regret missing out on him. The Bills traded out of that spot when they needed a QB. We all knew this could be the result. I’m high on Allen and it’s okay to have hope that he becomes a great QB, fans can do that while still saying “yikes” Mahomes is a beast. Projecting two guys into two different scenarios and then comparing those players from what you think would happen is always a sloppy idea. It’s impossible. Allen grew throughout the year, if that continues then the Mahomes trade will soon be forgotten.
