  1. Wilson had a good stretch run last year with Baldwin and Lockett. For whatever reason the Lambs have been playing them tough as of late.
  2. Haven't seen him since Thursday but rumors are that he is pussyfooting around town.
  3. Prayers up to PJ Williams of the Saints he got in a bad collision, took them awhile to get him strapped on the board and on the cart. No thumbs up from him, concerning.
  4. Could be a good thing, players had a say in the matter so for now they can't just point fingers at their OC. Time to rally around Lynn.
  5. Wow.
  6. A prettier version of Danny Woodhead at the next level. Fun to watch.
  7. Audibles and reading defenses!? Must be a college thing.
  8. I haven't stopped drinking since Thursday night he won't affect me much. No work til Tuesday bring it in Tirico I'm QB watching after two games.
  9. He is fun to watch and fearless.
  10. No matter how this all ends up Pegula has to be pissed with how things have gone. He is now paying Roman to sit home, looking at paying Rex, are GM contracts guaranteed? Yikes. Never mind the fact that reworking the Taylor deal looks like a mistake, not only the cash he had to dish out but now your going to be forced to cut your best QB because of the outrageous # next year. Then how much guaranteed money has he dished out since buying the team? The highest in the league? Just a guess. Heads will be rolling soon.
  11. That don't make any sense, they need to see Tyrod sink or swim so they can justify releasing him instead of paying him the mega bucks he is due next year.
  12. A thing of beauty? If you have a good arm and a pretty deep ball that is one of the easier passes. Goodwin got a free release and smoked Revis, Taylor threw it up and Goodwin went and got it. The only surprise on that play was seeing how big of an ass Revis has now, he must be on that daddy diet with KW.
  13. Do you guys think Kizer will struggle against MSU today?
  14. Involved enough to keep his players from kissing mascots of the opposing teams. Involved enough to get the right guys in the places to make the decisions he himself is unable to make. Lastly, involved enough to feel the pulse of the team all the while letting the GM/coach work hand and hand as they are being paid to do.
  15. Sad to say though being only a few days into the season. I will pull for them vs. Arizona and NE...if the boat starts to float ride it until it sinks. If they lose both those games it's in the best interest to lose out and get the top pick. It would help lure in a new coach/GM and simplify the Taylor contract. Strange to think if Tyrod starts playing like last year and mixes in a few more bad games someone has to make a decision on big $. He needs to sink or swim asap. The book is far from written on Goff but if your asking me if I want to draft a Cali kid who is as soft as butter and listens to Taylor Swift the answer is no. The college season is still young so it's hard to project the top QB, admittedly I have only watched a handful of games this year. Tanking is the best option even if no QB emerges though. Stud player, trade downs, additional first rounders give you an extra year of control.
  16. If things don't turn around drastically 4 wins is too many. If they start 0-4 tanking needs to be considered, any wins over bad teams like LA and the Browns will just cost you draft position. Dont complain about purgatory then put the team right back in it. The league rewards losing, don't just be good at it...be great.
  17. Dang I thought you meant they were using Patriot shirts to wipe up the paint with.
  18. Taylor laid still for a quick count after the hit, it didn't look good on tv and I think that is what caught the refs attention.
  19. Ian Rapporport has a video up on NFL.com saying that this has been in the works for awhile. Something about them keeping Roman through the offseason because of the impressive rushing numbers but having an underlying concern heading into the season. After two games they saw the problems they knew existed blah blah. On my phone so I'm not able to link the video but it's at/near the top of the page.
  20. Did he draft Glenn and Wood? I thought Miller was his one and only shot at a starting olineman.
  21. No idea, probably just good ole Rexy protecting one of his own but the comments seemed pointed. Makes it more likely that he made the call on Roman or at least agreed with it.
  22. Sounds like just another guy getting his clicks up while passing off speculation as fact without having to name "sources" The truth is probably somewhere inbetween, you would think the coaches and owners have goals and expectations for each unit and if Greg Ro wasn't meeting them or adapting to them then this is the result. From some of what Rex said in the presser it sounded like he was biting his tongue a bit when talking about how Tyrod was being used etc. How about read the entire thread, in the first response to the OP I mocked the credibility of this report.
  23. Rex just said he went home and brought the decision to the Pegula's, so as usual the truth is what each person decides to believe.
