  1. It wouldn't be an even money bet, handicap it if you're so sure. Could probably browse around and find a prop bet, 25-1 would be my guess.
  2. Probably could have put this in the FA thread so we don't end up with countless threads named after players. It's going to be a busy week.
  3. Has Whaley caved in negotiations during his tenure in Buffalo? I don't remember him doing that for any high profile players. He did give TT a good faith handout last year though.
  4. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2017/profiles/marshon-lattimore?id=2558061
  5. Go watch Drew Brees in the pocket. He stands on his toes and tilts his head back in a painful looking way. Taylor hops around like Peter Cottontail then bolts for the nearest escape. They are nothing alike.
  6. I would be highly disappointed with any of those selections. A pass catching tight end at 10th overall when you don't have respectable QB play, your also currently paying the 2nd most guaranteed money to your own TE. Ross? If they are going to invest the 3rd first round pick into a WR in the last three years how about they take Davis who looks to be the best one available. When you invest highly in a player like Watkins don't you do that with the hope he makes the players around him better? Sammy is so good right? Why can't they just find a solid WR to play opposite him and let him benefit from the space created by boo boo foot? Peppers is a misfit, coaching staffs in Buffalo have had a hard enough time getting production from even the best fits. Hopefully Big MC changes that but 10 is too high for a project safety/LB. Whaley could have had Deion Jones in the 2nd but we have Ragland. Those guys would be fun to watch against the globe trotters though.
  7. Sounds like purgatory.
  8. What did TT drag out? TT didn't even stand up to the team and make any serious waves about holding out when he was playing on a baby contract. Whaley and company decided to negotiate out of good faith and now they are taking the decision up the deadline.
  9. Don't slip, our depth chart isn't exactly our strength.
  10. You should be getting more credit for this one than you have. They are quick to bust balls around here but slow to massage them!? Common mans, some apprecition is due on this one.
  11. Velocity looked good outside the numbers in the spandex Olympics, I have yet to watch any game stuff from him. I planned on doing it today but still have company. I trust your opinion but I'm going to give him a look. I didn't expect him to catch my attention from what I had read/heard previous to seeing him throw yesterday.
  12. Wins against replacement would be an interesting metric to guage value for a middling QB. DePodesta is surely using it, I would venture a guess that any non elite QB would not fare well when being viewed through that lense. I don't see the connection between the Browns and Taylor. They are playing a numbers game, the numbers would say pay a steeper price for a potential franchise guy like JG than waste picks on raising your floor at QB.
  13. I'm having a hard time believing any of the QB trade rumors. I would be more surprised if anything happens with TT, JG, Romo, Smith, etc. than I would if it didn't. TT's option hurts his value, Romo's age and injuries diminishes his. If anything the Pats and Browns are releasing contradicting information as they bargain behind the scenes for a JG swap. We won't trade Jimmy, we want Tyrod. Oh wait a minute here is 12 overall can we have Jimmy? Yuck.
  14. Maybe Whaley should email DePodesta and find out what TT's WAR stat is?
  15. In reality it should be a simple decision. Does the guy responsible for handling the personnel expect him to improve or does he know TT is what he is at this point. Whaley has been around this guy for an extended amount of time, does Taylor not have the wits to run a 2 minute drill? Was that on the coaching? Can TT recognize a defense? Is TT blind behind the wheel? I would love to know Whaley's opinion on the player and if it differs from anyone else involved in this process.
  16. Cockrell would probably fit in the zone scheme, another failure because of the Rex experiment. He played fairly well in Pitt last season.
  17. BBMB? It's been awhile, hope all has been well. I'm excited for what he does in Indy, I'd like atleast one team in the AFC who won't roll over for the Pats.
  18. If they are left out I would be shocked. Their good wins are better than any other bubble team and Cuse is just a year away from that magical final four 4. The resume, talent, and coach is going to be hard to leave out.
  19. 11-5 and now what? What did he build? Where is the foundation around Andrew Luck? Trent Richardson? Phillip Dorsett? Convince me Grigson had any long term plan. Al Davis wana be with his WR fetish cost the Colts legitimate players.
  20. He had Andrew Luck and failed miserably in a weak division. Move after move made zero sense, his selection of Ryan Kelly was the only thing I can remember him not screwing up. Whaley has been bad and I can't wait until he is out of Buffalo but it's hard to compare his win loss record with the Colts. Until Whaley gets the QB situation right he has some semblance of an excuse, not that he will ever get right it.
  21. Hello I'm Ryan Grigson, would you like to buy some life insurance? Whaley sucks but that is a wild exaggeration. Plenty of GM's have failed to win with capable QB's. Whaley is yet to do that.
  22. Devontae Booker averaged 3.5 YPC with something like 175 carries? The run game was atrocious.
  23. The Browns deserve a lay up, looks like they are finally getting one.
  24. Hearing rumors Tampa Bay is a potential landing spot for Desean Jackson. Nice fit if true.
