  1. What did you guys think of the QB's yesterday? Trubisky had the best arm of the bunch, I was impressed with him. I didn't see him play this year so I'm going to do some digging today. He has my attention after yesterday. Does he have the head to go with that arm? Watson looked good but I'm going to keep my stance. I don't want him in Buffalo. His passes often float a bit and I don't think that is a good recipe for success playing outdoors in the AFC east. Watson seems to have everything else though, his big games speak for themselves, he is a winner. I wouldn't hate the pick, maybe that's because I expect it and want to believe. Mahomes was solid, as expected. I thought his arm would look more alive than it did. He would be a guy that I'd want to sit down with and talk things out. He looked like a space cadet at some points yesterday and that worries me. Kizer is not my guy. I have a hard time seeing Whaley take him. It would look like the same approach they had with EJ, not saying I think he is EJ type of bad. He just fits the mold of the perfect QB body which failed Whaley and his scouts on their previous pick so I think it's safe to assume they will attempt a different route.
  2. Chad Kelly threw for 421 and 3 touchdowns in one game against Bama. Are you sure that you mean "any" guy?
  3. At 10? You have him playing outside or inside in this scheme? I'm having a hard time fitting anyone in right now, Davis and Kuechly were just too damn good.
  4. 22 year old kid making a mistake, no big deal. The surprise would have been if the hospital worker replied "you're the Butkus award winning first team all American who won the national championship two years ago" Of course this kid has an ego, I would be worried if he didn't.
  5. This site has an Off the Wall section which generates some good discussions for movies/shows/randomness. Maybe once you guys pass through Ellis Island someone will show you the way.
  6. Hooker and Jones would be a solid first two rounds.
  7. That's the hope John and ownership should be behind him 100 percent. We have seen what Whaley is as a gm, we already know about Russ Brandon's idiotic insight on Ryan. They can't speak about McD changing the culture and loving his attitude then pull the floor out on him at QB. Hopefully this is just more speculation being thrown about but it's very easy to paint a picture in which Whaley wants TT gone.
  8. Why would they do that? It was just a few years ago they hired Rex and apparently forgot to discuss what type of defense they wanted to play. The beat just goes on with these guys. It's hard to stomach growing pains from the Pegula's, they already have a pro team yet they still show no semblance of how to run one. It's not really a "green" ownership, meeting with the players without the coach, PR disasters, retaining Whaley and entering a rebuild/retool??, still no direction at QB, power struggle over TT between the HC and a GM stuck in self preservation mode? If Whaley still needs to lookout for his job and not spend 100% of his time, effort and resources building a team for the long term then we are heading towards that 20 year mark without playoffs. If the Pegula's believe in Whaley they stop this we are "close" rhetoric and commit to letting bozo run the show for a few more years.
  9. In the scenario you painted I hope they keep TT. Otherwise not so much. It's my belief that Whaley pinned the teams failures on Taylor and Ryan so this would make sense. Ryan can't coach my studs!!! Taylor can't hit my wide open WR! Terry we need to get these guys out of here ASAP they are wasting all this talent I assembled!
  10. Hooker is the one I want at 10, I don't care about the surgeries he is the type of player you can wait on. I don't want Adams, he is a safe pick but if your using a top 10 pick on a safety you need the game wrecker.
  11. That would be a ton of draft capital dedicated to the ILB position, I don't see that as being successful.
  12. You're not you when you're hungry. Have a snickers, don't get sent home dummy.
  13. I have been hammering his patch work approach for awhile now, I'm fine with the Bills taking a step back but is Whaley the guy to lead that movement? Do the Pegula's have the patience and discipline to let the coach and gm figuere it out? Lots of questions and no certain answers. They are good at doing one thing...keeping it interesting. My biggest hope is that Terry and Kim admitted fault with the Rex hire and are going to change their approach forward.
  14. Jrober you will enjoy this board much more than BBMB, if my memory serves me right. Welcome.
  15. Why isn't this a "would yah" thread? I have the baking flour ready for any takers.
  16. DTF? Isn't that terminology best used on Tinder?
  17. Unfortunately fans aren't PRIVY to those in depth message board discussions taking place at OBD. One would think they would have more serious things to be discussing during combine week. Oh well, a hearty welcome to all the new folks.
  18. Good call on Dupre, I read a few sites today and they mostly agree on the fact that he should have stayed in school. Ehh maybe in the 5th!! I want some more LSU on this roster, Kyle is leaving soon!!
  19. I think a SB is the debate for the front office, they aren't going anytime soon. Whaley either has the confidence of the Pegula's to tear this thing down and build it back up or he is under pressure to win now. That same thing goes for the new coaching staff. I don't care what's being said in interviews their actions will tell the story. If TT is gone look for Whaley and company to stick around for a few years regardless of this seasons win total.
  20. He looks impressive against lesser competition, when he played Bama he looked scared of the LOS. I have Cook way ahead of Fournette, heck I think he has serious bust potential at the next level.
  21. This is SDS's site, one of you might want to direct your questions toward him.
  22. I'm saving my Doug Whaley meltdown for draft day.
  23. Too bad he had a processor from the 70's stuck up in that big dome of his.
  24. As a 3rd QB who cares. He is making peanuts and has some mobility and on the field experience. It's safe to assume EJ is out of mix, I'd rather a young guy like Siemian than a Hoyer type.
