If your going to attempt to evaluate last years draft class wouldn't it be easier to classify it as a complete unknown than to try and place any expectations on these players? For a bunch of day 1 starters the Bills 16' class had the least amount of impact of any rookie class. Lawson spent most of the season on light duty and when he returned he look out of place. Ragland showed up out of shape to camp and blew out his knee, he is penciled in as a starter by default. Seymour could have just as easily been Corey White, etc. Listenbee has spent a solid 8 months in and out of surgery, hopefully he can make the team. What did Washington do?

My guess is 3 years 18 million, with about 10 guaranteed in the first two years.

I'm with yah, just hoping he had something to protect himself financially. I did a little research and it seems no one knows if he had a policy like then ones we heard about with Jack, Jaylon Smith. If he drops from 15th overall to the third round that's 7-8 million in guaranteed money that will be lost.

That's the biggest change this team and organization needs. For that to truly happen some big names are going to be going elsewhere as soon as their contacts allow it. I said earlier this offseason your highest paid players need to be more than just good at football on the rare occasion they feel like playing.

It's hard to pull a guys fan card for not thinking the Bills are going to the playoffs. Y2k is more recent than the playoffs. The Bills are in the bottom 5 in the NFL to make the Super Bowl. 100-1, they are a shade ahead of the Browns. Sure, by the time camp starts most of us will find a few reasons for hope but maybe we should let the guy watch the games don't you think John?...

Exactly. If you're not scared of him getting selected and you expect him to be there in the mid 20's then don't draft him at all. Find a guy you love, or draft elsewhere and build a foundation.

I'm on this boat. Find the guy, pick the guy. If he wasn't worth taking at 10 and you felt the need to trade down to 16-20 to take him, then you shouldn't be drafting him at all. You're guy should leave you sweating bullets in the war room while you see pick after pick go by....now he is still on the board at 10....smiles, high fives, make the selection.
