  1. Well playing fullback when he did has to rank pretty high on the violent hits chart.
  2. Search Nunes Memo, all the results are related to why it shouldn't be released and or how Nunes altered the memo. Thats the message.
  3. Ever been to NC and seen jumping spiders? Nasty.
  4. Will the panties drop or won't they? It's getting late, the longer it takes the less believability this thing will have because of all the misdirection going on.
  5. If anyone has a chance today try and catch the "moose" doing interviews on radio row. He is as sharp as a tack. Looks to be in great in shape. Clear thinking, quick, well worded. He answered a few questions on the great CTE debate. He said he reads up on it and stays informed and does all he can do to increase his chances of good health. Talked about exercising, eating healthy. All the normal stuff. He said something about the workouts keeping the blood flowing which benefits the brain. For any of the younger posters who don't remember "moose" he was one of the best FB to ever play the game, took and gave as many hits as I can remember. One guy isn't evidence of much, I will make the leap, I want to see which guys who continue a healthy lifestyle after football end up living a good life. Eating, working out, yah know like the rest of us have to do. Is football a death sentence or a game that will ruin your older years? Don't be so quick to judge. Guys that stay using pain pills and end up being couch potatoes are going to have more health problems. Heck my deadbeat fathers family would tell you they have bad genetics and they are all dying off in their 50's, I will tell you none of them work and live a sedentary lifestyle and that's what kills them.
  6. Just posted in the other thread....FWIW Breer has the Jets as the leader in the Cousins chase, Denver a close second. As most have speculated Kirk is excited to be the guy, he won't be going to a team who wants to draft a 1st round QB behind him. He wants to be "loved" Saying the hold up with Denver is their salary cap, they are so tight that they may lose key players by trying to fit Cousins in. (Talib, Wolfe, Manny) Decent interview. Buffalo was mentioned but he didn't get excited about it or provide any depth.
  7. Breer is on the radio saying that the team which shows him "love" will have a good chance of landing him. Says the Jets are the leader in the clubhouse with the Broncos a close second. Saying the Broncos are so close to the cap that in order to sign him they may lose their identity by letting go of Talib, Wolfe, Manny, etc.
  8. I like Sam Bradford's path better. For the longest time he was averaging a million bucks per touchdown.
  9. Once you get benched for Nate Peterman you go to the nearest real estate office and put your house on the market.
  10. Yah Boston is probably where some of my comments stem from, truth doesn't seem to matter to most folks here, they can't see with all that blood in their eyes. I liken it to trying to talk to a Pats fan about cheating, they can't do it and have an honest conversation, so why bother.
  11. Prolonged investigations and court cases may "clean up" Washington a bit but if any of this is going to change the way voters view politicians there is going to have to be a smoking gun. Something that is so absurd that it won't allow both parties to distract their bases and keep them flocking blindly to the booths. As someone without loyalty to either party I'm in favor of anything that has the possibility to unite the people against the corruption.
  12. Jeez that would be !@#$ing horrible. Thanks for the reply.
  13. I can't argue with that. I hope it does lead to change and actually make politics worth following. The system seems so corrupt it's hard to put any real belief into it. I'm curious to what percentage of Americans even have a clue as to what the accusations are.
  14. I have seen this mentioned a few times on here, fill me in. Just guessing that the ultimate distraction would be something terrible happening on Sunday?
  15. What do you guys expect if/when the memo is released and the other report is made public? Charges against McCabe and friends? Just more denials and finger pointing? I'm pretty sure the average voter still doesn't realize the different spin each news network puts on the stories coming out, nevermind follow this stuff in depth. D is good R is bad or vice versa is my impression on how about 80 percent of this country views politics. Is this stuff going to be so convincing that it would change that? I haven't followed politics in depth like many of you have so that's why I ask. Will any of this stuff change the direction of the country or will the average Janes and Joes remain loyal to party lines and on and on we go.
  16. Thanks I missed that.
  17. Your attempt to make it seem like a rift existed because of McD's attitude. I'm glad you don't even believe your own bull ****. That's good.
  18. Yeah and I don't believe you. A guy who loves attention would have been blabbering about that information before the changes were made so he could have his "I told you so moment"
  19. You missed the pitch. Imagine if this was Tyrod last year who found a doctor to retire him with that hip and guaranteed money. This board would be brighter than the super moon.
  20. After enduring the two weeks of Patriots ball washing and seeing every soccer mom decked out in Pats gear how could you miss this? It probably won't happen but in the rare chance it does i want to make sure I'm there for the Patriots failure. I'm having a SB party, half pats fans, a few Bills fans and some Giants fans. Fly Eagles Fly will be the war cry and we will bury our dissapointment with drinks and good food. Go Eagles. I also put some money on Corey Clement for SB MVP.
  21. I can entertain the Kirk Cousins plan but I'm not sure if it's just because I want to expedite the entire process. I never thought he was great or even good. I'd put him in the solid category.
  22. Id hate taking him in the 2nd round. If you go WR there I want a guy as talented and polished as a Sterling Shepard was. WR position needs some love.
  23. With what we saw on the field last year it's hard to understand the move. Byrd shouldn't have a hard time finding work with the success his guys had last season.
  24. Throw enough bait in the water and you will Shirley get a bite!
