    From what I have seen of McD he would love a guy like Mayfield and the fire he brings. Does this mean the Bills have to draft him? No. It does strike me as odd that this is the only guy they haven't been linked to. I'm almost certain Mayfield is the target.

    My guess is an agreement was made between the Bills, Giants or Colts. Trading up to 12 seems like it was done to facilitate a teams demand. Handshake agreement, wait til draft day to reduce the odds a team goes overboard and gives Cleveland an offer they can't refuse for #1. Maybe all this snow has gone to my brain and I'm being overly optimistic.

    I don't think it would make sense to trade up to 12 now and wait there for the QB they want when the rest of the league knows their intentions. That would make it too easy for someone to jump them and take Allen.

    Why are you fixated on Allen? I don't see it. Bradford is an upgrade over Taylor for the short term. They have traded for a bunch of picks, I don't see a scenario where they don't get into the top 3. I'm not going to allow my myself to consider that Beane could be crazy enough to take Allen over Mayfield, Rosen or Donald.

    Yet half of their games Reid will forget how to call plays and they will fall flat. This might be the most weapons he has ever had, let's see if that makes a difference. He is too often guilty of trying to be cute with his play calls.

    Spotrac had Watkins at 6M AAV. These early signings are all player friendly with Albert Wilson being the exception. Anything under 9million AAV and it's champagne glasses and some toast for the Brits.

    Guess he forgot about Whaley bringing in bum ex Jets like IK and Leonhard. The Tolbert signing was inexcusable but I haven't seen a good arguement as to why Star and KB can't be pieces on a winning team.
