Bills hire Talent Consultant to improve public image
dawolv replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We just hired a new head of PR... now another consultant. I would have rather they hired a PR focused sports agency that could help with public image and help with our perception with sports agents to help retain and recruit new talent! -
Hopefully this means the hometown discount applies for ZB. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000793880/article/colts-agree-to-oneyear-deal-with-lb-sean-spence

What's the DeAndre Hopkins situation ?
dawolv replied to njbuff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We may not but still need another top receiving threat to keep defenses honest IMO. I hope Holmes is that guy but not sure he is more than a red zone threat, I hope we draft a WR in the second round that will be a proper 1b/2 -
Bills Likely Pick- Wide Receiver at #10 and Beyond
dawolv replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
OJ going in top 15 in my opinion. I hope it's Corey or MW, really hope it isn't Ross. I would love to trade down for Peppers as well, dude is going to be a steal- I saw Woodson play in college and while certainly not the same player or even position, he has that level of talent. -
I didnt think he was as flat footed as previous games. He used his legs more today and made more accurate passes, regardless of footwork. As long as he can use his arm to keep the opposing defenses honest, this could be a FUN season. Hopefully he and Hunter continue to gel, and Woody and Clay with a little OLeary can get it done

NFL.com: Kapernick perfect for Chip Kelly offense
dawolv replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kap didnt look bad, he gave them a spark but Bills clearly have more talent. VeganFro BTW is hilarious!!! -
Have to give Rob and Dennis credit as well. Pressure was lacking but came through when we needed it. Nice to see Lynn again make some great calls and have a QB with great patience to lead to a nice win. Rex, 49ers stink but you are certainly showing your ability to evolve as a HC.

YES- this. He made so much happen today...

Great rebound game (rebound might be wrong word) to show everyone that Tyrod is still a leader on this team- pay the man! Kap played ok but Tyrod showed he is the man!

No Dareus or Sammy? No problem
dawolv replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Our WR crew reminds me of the chiefs last year when there receivers had no TDs, except outs do! I do hope we look at some able body vets like Roddy White just to help till Sammy is back. When is Salas back? -
Report: Sammy could return this season!

If Kerley can be the #1 WR in SF, there has to be some temporary depth out there, somewhere. Im hoping Hunter comes alive this week which should allow for Woods and Clay to play even bigger roles, I am still indifferent on Powell. -
Stephen A Smith- responds to last week's critique

Apologies OF this has already been posted, but Ben Patsy Affleck's reaction to the game yesterday might be better than Bill smashing tablets! https://twitter.com/SI_ExtraMustard/status/782975022822555653 -
Anyone else notice that when he did attempt to throw down the middle, at least two if not three of his passes were deflected? We were lucky that at least twice, the Bills WR's were able to catch the ball. I saw on a few plays we had players wide open in the middle of the field, but Tyrod chose to check down. I really hope he can improve his game play here, especially when the weather gets brutal! Hopefully with this "simplified" game plan, he can work on this.

Agreed, the ability to convert in the RZ is a problem, our guys on offense outside of Shady, Tyrod with his legs and Gilislee dont really intimidate anyone (in the RZ). Im hoping Clay alongside a Justin Hunter who can hopefully catch will allow for some jump balls to go our way as an interim solution till Sammy is back. Woods did impress me yesterday, I am still not convinced in Powell and Tate as WR's, no issues on ST.

How Good Can This Defense Be With Dareus And Lawson?
dawolv replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed, I wonder how much getting Marcell back will do for the development of Adolphus, as well as keeping Worthy and Kyle fresh. I was disappointed I didnt see more plays from the OSU rookie yesterday esp after a solid outing against the Cards. With Marcell back our DL looks pretty comparable talent wise to the Rams up front. -

Agreed... I AM NOT a S.A.S fan but I dont blame him from not backing down just yet. I can't wait to watch him eat his microphone after the Bills win at least 2 out of the 3 next games and hopefully that is coupled with Bill B crushing a few more Surface Pro's along the way! -
Week 5: Rams' Game Preparation - Inactives Announced
dawolv replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Defenses are a wash. Both have great RB's. They have more offensive weapons, but our O-line is stronger. For me, it will come down to QB execution, I like our chances! -

He says he is willing to eat some 'crow' but doesn't back off his previous statements. Should be an interesting few weeks too come! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rorSO4iIbCM -
Bills tied for #3 in the league in sacks
dawolv replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Impressive given amount of blitzing. Brown brothers have player better than I expected. Havent heard much at all about Brandon Spikes, did he see the field Sunday? I think I may have saw his number once on the field. -
Hoping he has his breakout game this week against the cheaters! We will definitely need him and Felton to help block upfront, also praying Glenn is ready to go. 2-2, here we come!
-
Old man Williams was unstoppable today. Adolph is also played well- making plays. Can't wait for Dareus to be back to really improve the boys upfront. Brown bros played well, where is Brandon Spikes?
-
Watkins shows up next week- and Tyrod masters the screen and short pass. I also think Clay bounces back as he was certainly absent today! #itsnotkoolaid
-
Agreed- I think Rex played White more because he used to be a Cardinal but I wasn't overly impressed with his play, outside of his one pick but thought he was abused otherwise. No complaints though as it was a great team win and I like the creative game calling- 7cb's on the field!
