McDermott: "In the Hunt"
DaBillsFanSince1973 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
you have a very poor way of reading people. I don't know if that's something you can teach or just comes with time. I was just yanking your chain the same as you were yanking mine. no real emotion involved, especially anger or in your words mad/emo. no, it would take a hell of a lot more then that to make me mad. if anything I'm mad at myself for hanging in there as long as I have. difference now is I find it much easier to just let go of any hope. hope, mainly false hope is what bills fans have been living on. this season is no different then any of the other so called rebuilds and so far looking like the same (that may of been the worst 3 game stretch I've ever witnessed or remember anyway) end result. as for peterman, sure I was pulling for the kid, another good case of false hope on my behalf. you seem to have some hope for taylor and I certainly wont call you out when he continues to be taylor and he too joins the list, long list of failed attempts at finding stability at the most important position. I've wrote this season off, my choice. after the last three weeks, I don't see any miraculous turn around so they'll miss the post season and lure us in to the off season with all those picks and try and lead the fan base to believe that the process will work and they're building a team with one goal in mind, a championship. it's what keeps us coming back year after year, always thinking this will be the year, how cliche'. I have no choice but to sit back and wait to see if they can bring their "trust the process" in to fruition and finally field a contender? -

hang on to that hope, as long as you can. to answer your question, barely. by a very thin margin that should be all but wiped out come dec 2nd. -
Thanksgiving Football: What to Watch For
DaBillsFanSince1973 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
hard to pull for the cowgirls but I want to see the chargers lose. -
why I did was to let the OP know, even taylor looked bad in that game. one looking better than the other made no real difference anyway, they were not winning that game. the only stats that matter are in the w/l column. you can boast, post and sling stats around all day, if they're not winning football games, making the post season ( has taylor made the post season yet?) then those stats are irrelevant. I did not PUSH for peterman. I pulled for him to do well, why not? I'm tired of taylor, seen enough of him. but, until they're officially eliminated dec 2nd, I'll have to see taylor under center. then, when they're 5-7 it wont matter how much anyone wants to see taylor because they will likely allow peterman to finish the last 4 meaningless games and take his lumps so that during the off season they can evaluate his future, as well as taylors.

Tyrod to start vs Chiefs
DaBillsFanSince1973 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
they may be, time will tell. I'm still interested in why they lost the other 4 games? you're pretty adamant that starting peterman was the reason for them losing last week. -
what for? maybe in your mind he could of made a come back after being down 30? or maybe you just like to see taylor play and it was reason enough for you to keep watching? I saw it go to 47-10 after that play and said there are better things in life to do than to watch that garbage. hell, I may not even make it past the half this next game if their getting their ass handed to them like the last 3 weeks? before you go and question why I should or shouldn't watch or if it means I'm more or less a fan, I'm not dedicated enough to waste my time watching a beat down.

I see your defense is still holding strong JM. what will be your breaking point if they don't go (no way they win 5 out of 6, 10-6) 7-9 as you projected? what if they don't win another game? are you still going to be defending taylor and his record? blame the defense? you blame peterman for the last loss, who do you blame for the other 4? you're fighting a losing battle here and sooner then later your defense is going to be all for naught. no, I'm not rooting for players to fail or the team to fail or for coaches to fail. I don't have to, they seem to be doing a good job on their own. difference is, I'm not wearing blinders and seen enough to take that little bit of hope I may of had and sweep it under the rug, where it belongs until they start showing some competence, start contending. thing is, I may not live long enough to see that happen because I'm almost certain it's not happening anytime soon? -
Will chip on Tyrod Taylor's shoulder spark offense? NO Do the Bills attack Darrelle Revis? NO Will Buffalo's run defense figure things out? NO Does LeSean McCoy make a dent in his chase for 10K yards? SHOULD Do the Bills have an answer for Travis Kelce? NO Is Rick Dennison's time numbered as offensive coordinator? SHOULD BE Can Buffalo limit Tyreek Hill's impact on Sunday? NO Do the Bills remain in the hunt following Sunday's game? NO

you know nedboy, I don't know how long you've been a fan but not only the last couple decades but the last three games this season alone can and has turned the fans sour. maybe you're a glutton for punishment? for you to question those fans, call them pathetic or question their mental stability is showing a very weak observation on your part and at the end of the day you should actually question yourself on your pathetic opinion of those fans. why in the world would you even let it bother you? if you want to drink the kool-aide and praise the team who is and has been losing year in and year out, that is your prerogative. just as it is their prerogative who don't drink the kool-aide or support the incompetence that has been the buffalo bills for all of the 21st century. just a suggestion, if you can't take it, why come here just to complain about it? -

blaming the media is like blaming the fans. it just doesn't make sense. -
I agree. as much as some felt the wr positions traded away hurt, which it did, I think not waiting until the off season to trade #99 hurt the defense in a big way. yeah, as much as they wanted to blow smoke with the "win now" crap, I'm believing they had to of known gutting the team the way they did was not going to have a favorable outcome?

How many wins rest of season?

one would be more then I would give them. I'm leaning more toward losing out. -

who was trying to get around it? seems if one were to use acronyms then I could see a problem but it looks as though it's filtered to show characters in place of letters leaving those not knowing what swear word was used? are we in a bubble here? -

oh nedboy, there you go again allowing those who don't wear the glasses or drink the kool-aide ruin your day. what's pathetic is you thinking anyone gives a !@#$ what you think. have an extra serving of pumpkin pie and put an extra scoop of cool whip on it and find something much better to worry about. poor fella. -
I'm thankful I don't put all my thankfulness in to a football team.
-
did it really get that much better? I mean, that's digging really deep to try and find any consolation in that game. I wasn't sure they were going to put taylor back in and then when they did I thought no way it can get any worse (which this play does not equal worse than the kid but it sure as hell didn't look any better at the time) then this play happened and it was then, I shut the damn game off.
