How do we pull the impossible and beat the Pats?
DaBillsFanSince1973 replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
16 points and one td wont get it done. too bad they don't have the pass rush to rattle brady. win the turnover battle score more points -
seasons the bills at least split. 1998 1999 (sweep) 2000 2003 2011 2014 (game 17, brady played only the first half) last 20 years, owned. 31-7, total dominance. shame it'll likely take brady carted off the field or retirement before the bills have a chance to take the division again, who doesn't want to beat brady? 0-0 this season and I have a slight ray of hope they can manage to at least take the first meeting at home.

Is anyone here really a Tyrod fan?
DaBillsFanSince1973 replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
what is a tyrod fan? is that buying his jersy or wanting a signed ball by him? is it starting many threads defending his play and wearing the board out with his stats? or are you a bills fan and even if you don't like his game at times you root for the team for which he is part of? if the latter, then consider me a fan. -

defense played a big factor in that game. the offense is way too conservative and going up against the patriots** next week one td is not going to get it done. I wont put all the blame on taylor but this rico character needs to go. one thought I had was I do wish taylor was the type of QB that changes the play at the line but maybe rico has informed him he can't do that or he just isn't capable of doing so? -
I wasn't complaining. the team today was not the team that smoked them. technically, yes it was. but some teams tend to slide after a hot start, quite evident with kc. while the patsies** keep winning. that was my point. I'm glad they won today. glad the defense stepped up and only allowed 10 points. what I would like to see but wont until they rid of that OC, is a more aggressive offense scoring points instead of this conservative crap. one td wont get it done next week.
-
but. it stopped the bleeding for a week. I don't think they have a shot in hell next week but I didn't expect them to win today. bad team or not the patsies** are on a 7 game win streak and they very well could win out. wasn;t real impressed with the offense with this OC calling plays, one td wont cut it next week. the slight, very slight chance they have they need to be a hell of a lot more aggressive on offense if they want a chance. defense isn't going to always bail them out like today so enough of the conservative offense, it's boring.
-
they have also been on an 8 game win streak. your point? edit: I wouldn't use brees as a form of defense for taylor. he had a decent game. he made some plays. he also made some that were not so good. I wont criticize him much, they won. however, had the defense not stepped up that one td pass wouldn't of cut it. it wont happen because he'll likely be on his way after the season but I really would of liked to see him with a competent OC before any real judgement can be assessed.

this is funny. you have inside info or is this just your speculative guess. I have a hard time believing they hate him. I think it falls more on an incompetent OC and rookie HC who made a bad choice at OC?
