  1. did the '90's bills get any media attention? I know some don't like to look back or discuss that past team era, but they had plenty of media attention when it wasn't like it is here in the 21st century, but they got it. because they not only won, but pretty much dominated, especially at home. as an opponent back then in the playoffs, you didn't want to go through buffalo. in the words of the legend, "when you want to be ranked and when you want to be considered as one of the top echelon teams in this era of football, to dethrone the king you got cut his head off." "you got to beat the new england patriots*, you got to beat the philadelphia eagles." https://www.buffalobills.com/video/hall-of-fame-de-bruce-smith-weighs-in-on-the-bills-5-2-record-through-eight-week win. keep winning. they need to establish dominance and when they do, you'll have all the media attention you want. until then, don't expect much.
  2. BUFFALO BILLS: Team determined to show it's for real. The Bills are 6-2, off to their best start since 1993, and they're tied for the second-best record in the AFC. But their six wins have come against teams with a combined record of 9-42. So, there's the rub. Bills safety Micah Hyde isn't having it. "I'm done apologizing for wins," Hyde said. "We're 6-2; this time last year, we were 2-6." It has been a remarkable turnaround. Bills players seem to embrace head coach Sean McDermott's vision to control what they can control and make that their sole focus. It also seems likely Hyde's teammates will continue to rally around his sentiment. "Listen, we know what we are, as far as record goes," said second-year quarterback Josh Allen. "We know we haven't played as well as we can, but to his point, it's a complete 180 from last year, night and day." Allen went on to say the Bills' expectations inside their building are higher than anyone's on the outside.
  3. watch what you wish for, it could come back and bite you in the ass.
  4. NFL PICKS: WEEK 10 cbs - 5 of 8 pick buffalo. CBSSPORTS.COM pickwatch - 15 of 22 pick buffalo. nflpickwatch espn - 8 of 10 pick buffalo. espn nfl/picks sbnation - 6 of 10 pick buffalo. sbnation
  5. should of made it a public poll so we could see who the two softies were that voted no.
  6. 56? can I be 57 or am I already on it? 56, they really got to you, eh? I know I tend, or should I say did tend (my hand has been slapped too many time so I had to back off) to allow some, mainly the trolls of the board get under my skin, but 56? ftr, I have no one on my ignore list. ignoring something on this board can be quite easy without using the ignore feature.
  7. all I know is, the bills better be up for this game. I expect them to be motivated with all the predictions against them. they come out with a W, they're moving closer to the competitor they're trying to become. lose, to a 2-6 dysfunctional team, they still have a ways to go, quite a ways. prove the naysayers wrong.
  8. problem is, nothings perfect. best to expect the unexpected. they have a fight on their hands and I want to see them kick the dog when it's down, and I mean kick it!
  9. raaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiideeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrs
  10. it wont. you'll always have the negative nancys. this team could win the superbowl and they would find a negative spin about it.
  11. that's not going to change around here, should be used to it by now.
  12. I see no doom and gloom here. the bills struggle against the run. until they don't, a back like zeke can give them trouble. nothing doom and gloom about that? you get too worked up when you see the slightest of negativity against this team.
  13. no. realistically it is the bills that screwed the bills for not having a competitive team to go up against he and the evil empire for the last 15 years that may of prevented them from owing the division and making 3 straight with a shot at 4. this present bills team had a chance at home and lost and have one more chance dec 22. it looks like it will be baltimore that may hinder he and the pats* from getting to 4 straight? I do believe that the present bills team has been the closest to competing with them but when it comes to playing with the big dogs, they're still on the porch.
  14. I can handle Spirituality . I have nothing to do with religion/Christianity. whatever he's doing, he seems to have this team united and with a family type atmosphere. just win football games, I don't really care about your faith, just win.
  15. but what about kevin?
  16. I suggest proof reading before submitting your post. ⚓
  17. you're basing that off the past, THIS SEASON they have only lost one game where the opponents offense scored more then 20. the eagles. so your crusade holds no water. find a better hobby as you suck at this. as for the 300 yd games. pfft, another worthless crusade. 2019 NFL 300-Yard Passing Games week one. 13 QB's passed for 300 yds or more. 7 wins. 2 ties. 4 losses week two. 7 QB's passed for 300 or more yds. 4 wins. 3 losses. week three. 11 QB's passed for 300 or more yds. 5 wins. 6 losses. week four. 8 QB's passed for 300 or more yds. 4 wins. 4 losses. week 5. 9 QB's passed for 300 or more yds. 4 wins. 5 losses. week 6. 8 QB's passed for 300 or more yds. 4 wins. 4 losses. week 7. 7 QB's passed for 300 or more yds. 4 wins. 3 losses. week 8. 8 QB's passed for 300 or more yds. 4 wins. 4 losses. week 9 6 QB's passed for 300 or more yds. 2 wins. 4 losses. the 300 yd crusade doesn't show much. I'd say based off these stats above. winning doesn't always lead to the QB throwing for 300 yds. but what does lead to winning starts with the coaches, the talent on the field and whether the team can find success in all three phases of the game, not just from the QB throwing for 300 yds. have a nice day chief.
  18. discuss what? this season only two teams scored more then 20. one (eagles) loss, one (dolphins) win. those past games that led to the 3-17 results, were just that, from the past. so far this season, it's 1-1. the defense has been able to keep most teams under 20 so far, including the evil (16) empire and I don't expect that to change. so, nothing really to discuss since the losing to the opponents scoring more the 20 has not really been that way in 2019. 1-1
  19. talking to my neighbor this morning who is a giants fan said after that black cat stopped the game, it turned for the worst for the giants the rest of the way. . it was 9-3 giants before the cat brought some bad luck with it.
  20. let them build their own league. sucks as it is with the travel and playing a game at 9 am. keep the nfl in the states. if it seems to be gaining that much popularity over there, they can start their own league?
