  4. Only saw Rush once. One of only two shows I can think of where my focus was on the percussionist for most of the show. R.I.P.
  5. I'm gonna burn right up like a two dollar pistol rocket shot through the sun I'm alive and I'm a jiving I'm a passing you by I can't stop for anyone I gotta live my life, can't stop for you Gotta keep a runnin' gotta keep a runnin'
  6. Is that a crucifix in your pocket or are you just enjoying the show?
  7. Here's what I'd want: During a cold and snowy pregame ceremony at Gillette, a liquored up Gronk mistakes L.A. Rams QB and old friend Brady for a Lego Space Ghost bust and does the only thing he can - smashes the Tom/Space Ghost head into a million pieces. Kraft and the Gillette faithful rejoice as Joe Pendleton (RIP - Buck Henry) takes the field. In true Hollywood fashion Pendleton defeats Emperor Palpatine Hoodie once and for all. On the drive home, Kraft is arrested for DWI, but only after....
  8. Want: No way do I want to watch the Texans/JJ three straight weeks. Think: Without a lot of help from the Bills, the Texans wouldn't have won - on their home field. No way they make it out of KC. The game I'm looking forward to is Ravens/Titans. Throwback to the McNair/George vs. Lewis days. Two bruising teams.
  9. Common sense
  10. I thought I was the only one who remembered/liked Quark. Had no idea he was the screenwriter for What's Up, Doc? Watched that a few months ago., still very funny. RIP.
  11. Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me
  12. After they made the call I told my son's there'd be a lot of talk about it after the game, but I was over any impact it had on that particular game almost immediately. And I disagree with those who claim that the 'common sense' standard is regularly applied to kick off returns. If it has, I missed it. My complaint is that applying subjectivity to a ruling where none is needed sets a bad precedent for officiating decisions going forward.
  13. I get your point, I don't think it would be great or take away the 20 years of dominance. But your second point about Peyton kind of argues against your first. If you'd rather not face him then beating him is still accomplishing something.
  14. I'm just a bill. Yes, I'm only a bill. And I'm sitting here on Capitol Hill.
  15. I think you're missing the point. Whether he's a shell of himself or not, it would be nice to actually beat him instead of waiting out his retirement.
  16. The goal will always be to win the SB. My expectations/hopes in order of importance: 1) Josh improves to the point that I'm convinced he's the long term answer 2) Win the division 3) Win a playoff game 4) Hoist the Lombardi If you gave me any of these I'd probably consider it a positive step forward, but I think 2, 3 and 4 are predicated on 1.
  17. Well, they say time loves a hero But only time will tell If he's real, he's a legend from heaven If he ain't, he was sent here from hell
  18. Time, time and again I see you staring down at me Now, then and again I wonder what it is that you see With those angry eyes Well, I bet you wish you could cut me down With those angry eyes
  19. The band is just fantastic, that is really what I think, Oh, by the way, which one's Pink?
  20. And the sound that I'm hearing is only the sound of The low spark of high-heeled boys
  21. You have to hand it to Gettleman, he's willing to stand by his convictions. He was widely panned for not only picking Daniel Jones but for trading up to pick him as well. Time will tell how good/bad that turns out, but I think most people would agree that the Jones pick looks a heck of a lot better now than it did on draft night. This feels like the same type of choice.
  22. Who's the Clapper, Garrett? That would be amusing. The other names I've heard are Bienemy and McDaniels.
  23. Giants getting snookered. First McCarthy and now Rhule.
  24. Another town another place, Another girl, another face, Another truce, another race, I'm eating junk, feeling bad, Another night, I'm going mad, My woman's leaving, I feel sad, But I just love the life I lead, Another beer is what I need, Another gig my ears bleed, We are the road crew
